It's a coffee place not a tea place, so the Chief of Staff should have known better. Tea bag in a tea cup without the pot. Don't bring a knife to a gunfight, don't order tea in a coffee place. This is a Christian cafe, so I shouldn't complain about the Christian music playing, but I did find it annoying.

We have never dined in here before. Do we seat ourselves? There's no sign or anything, and why is this counter so dirty? Eventually a table left so we stood by the table for 5 minutes and no one even acknowledged us. Even though we have been staring at employees the entire time. And the table was also dirty from the last people... Eventually we flagged down an employee and asked if she could clean the table for us. She gladly did. But why is this all taking so long? And the bar countertop is also still dirty, we have been there for 15 minutes so far. We sat and eventually realized we needed to order our food at the cash register and tell them what table we were sitting at. All the employees were lovely but not Observant at all. That we have been staring at them and standing around... When we ordered and eventually given our food, There were a couple mishaps with our food, but that's okay because mistakes happen and we're not the type of people who get upset over every little thing. The employees fixed everything. The reason for only 4 stars is because we were there for 1 hour from start to finish, and ONLY right before we left, did they start cleaning any of the tables or counter. They only cleaned our table because we asked. There was a massive pile of dirty dishes on the back counter, and only then did they start cleaning them up. I neglected to take pics of the pile of dirty dishes. To be fair, all the employees were busy the entire time, they weren't being lazy, they always had something to do. BUT cleaning tables and dishes need to be a priority especially during the busy hours. I urge and hope the owner please get a designated dishwasher and table cleaner especially during the busy hours. No one wants to sit at a dirty table with food scraps and sauce smears after someone has left. And also, please be more observant to confused customers who are standing around not sure what to do. A simple, "can I help you" would have really helped, and not made us feel ignored when we were confused. Also, a sign would help, like, "seat yourselves and order at the counter". Because the employees are also wait staff, and deliver food to the tables. It was just so confusing. Hope this helps. But otherwise, the employees were quite lovely when they did pay attention to you, and food is always good. Just be prepared to wait awhile for food.
