The place had a couple customers at tables and a pretty empty counter top for take out. Their drive thru does get busy but I did have to wait a few more mins until my drink was finally made. Definitely a great Starbucks, although you will wait for a bit as you're competing with both in-store and the drive-thru line (the latter tends to become super long!). I'm not a coffee drinker but I do enjoy their variety of teas and hot chocolates. I am love with their lemon cake. I just need the barista to stop damaging the frosting so that I can stop feeling cheated. If you need snacks, there are yogurt, juice and some sandwich options to choose from. Coffee beans are also available if you want to prepare your java in your casa. This location has a drive-thru and the parking in the front is limited to share with its neighboring businesses. I'm always greeted and the wait time is generally minimal. Not a very large space but well decorated and of course they have complimentary wi-fi. This is literally the worst Starbucks in the world, and I truly mean that. Every single time we go here it's never a good experience. Either the drive thru is wrapped around Waugh chapel, were waiting an exorbitant amount of time for a mobile order, or the drinks come out wrong. It's always a disorganized mess inside too. The mobile order pickup is confusing (they have a table but also have some mobile orders on the ledge- but if you don't know they have them on the ledge your sitting at the table waiting for your order for it to be going cold on the ledge) and you will regular stand at either "attending area" and 20 workers will pass by without saying a word. I know that Starbucks as a corporation needs to work on their operations and efficiencies to meet their demands but this Starbucks in particular struggles in ways I haven't even seen higher volume locations struggle with. I never have a good experience here but today was kinda my final straw to write this review. We ordered 2 of the same exact drinks and one was ready and drank before the other and we ordered cold foam (which costs extra) only to be served a drink topped with whipped cream and missing the additional ingredients we requested. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal but it's just an overarching issue with this location and I'm irritated that I paid extra for something that I wasn't given and didn't realize until we left and kept think the drink tasted odd. read more

Very fast service, despite long lines! I think the long lines tell a tale of customer satisfaction, though; we keep coming back because we enjoy the final product. Then again, as another customer said, "It's Starbucks, they got no problem filling up the store with people." Fair point, but credit the baristas here for their friendliness and efficiency. When they get busy, I see their A-game all the time. Generally see that even when they aren't that busy. So, no complaints really. The occasional lack of superior customer service keeps the final star off the board for me, and they run out of syrups a bit too often for my liking, too. Otherwise, I'm a fan for sure! read more

The trash was overflowing, there were moldy egg bites in the display case and I got attitude for bringing it up, and they took 15 minutes to warm up 2 breakfast sandwiches. It's a Starbucks! Writing a review for Starbucks is a funny thing because while it is not a fast food chain, it is so corporate that I feel I would write the same exact thing for each store. Which in this case is not a bad thing. Very happy to have this location on Rte 3 as this is a favorite shopping centre of mine and prior to this being here you would need to enjoy your hot beverage at the Starbucks located inside the Target. Now that this is here it's wonderful to sit detached from the busy world of retail shoppers. As always with Starbucks, it is clean, cute and makes the standard drinks using the exact same recipes. I opted for the peppermint hot chocolate for my most recent beverage and it was delicious, just like all the others before it. The staff here isn't quite a perky as I'm used to, but they are friendly enough. I usually frequent Starbucks for cake pops and Izzy's since I'm not a big fan of caffeinated drinks, and unfortunately they have been out of Izzys twice I've visited. Perhaps it was because I stopped by in the early evening. Oh well. Added bonus, this is a drive thru location. Perfect! read more

Today I visited my local Starbucks which I have done many times. The location is at Waugh Chapel Town Centre, Rte. 3 at 2389 Brandermill Blvd in Gambrills, Maryland 21054. It is always extremely busy and you can count on a long wait. Anyway, I ordered three drinks which they only got one right. The other two were completely wrong. They apologized and attempted to fix one because the other one we didn't realize was wrong until half way down the road which consisted of oat milk only! This is not the first time this has happened and btw, the one they did get right tasted like old coffee and was very strong. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location. read more

This Starbucks is ok as far as Starbucks' go. The inside is nice and always well-kept, though it is rather small. The employees are nice enough, nobody has ever been rude at least, and my drinks always come out quickly. As far as the quality of my drinks, it's touch and go. Sometime it's great, sometimes not so much. That really depends more-so on who makes it rather than the specific Starbucks, though, in my opinion. The place is a little tiny if you want to do work inside. The outside is pretty but as well small. Parking can be a hassle. The staff and service are great though, I haven't had any issues with them. I go in, get my drink, they are typically fast for the most part and do their job well. The parking lot isn't' the greatest either, more than anything I have a problem with the location. My order is always correct, the baristas are ALWAYS friendly and when I've had to wait... they are apologetic and get on to making my drink.
