Starbucks is a great place to get pretty much any drink you want and many different foods. My dog Daisy and I go to Starbucks every day after our afternoon walk. Daisy is always so happy to get a pupiccino while I get frape. The service ther is great but for some reason they always get my name wrong! I am giving this Starbucks a 4 star review because I do live in the area and I know the girls who work here work their butts off. As for the reviews of being friendly and all smiles - keep in mind they serve some of the most obnoxious people in the area - who complain about everything. So, I wouldn't feel offended if they don't give you a smile or a "Welcome to Starbucks!!!." The girls seem always friendly to me, and even if they just serve me my drink - I'm okay with that too. Most of the time my drink is to how I like it, but quite frankly - I am a DD kinda guy. Starbucks is only my go to when I want a Iced Tea. Overpriced coffee, for what? - No Thank You! Helpful Tip 1: Parking could be a pain, and yes the women will back up into your car while parking their overly huge Escalades or Denalis that their husbands gifted them - so, watch out! I'm not surprised by the good or bad reviews here as this location clearly has two tiers of customers. I've been to a lot of Starbucks in a lot of cities and this is really the worst one I have ever been to. As reported by others, the place is a mess. The tables were all dirty and the staff person busily wadding more sweeteners into the already full containers was too busy to clear the dirty tables or wipe them down. But not to wander around holding a couple of paper napkins. Which he picked up rather than putting them in the trash bin. Which was overflowing. The staff behind the counter were slow. They were, in fact, loud. As was the music. The counter staff also seemed to wander around a lot while people were waiting. They forgot to make my drink because they have a poor system of communicating tickets. Also, the person making things seemed really confused about how to make any drink except straight up coffee. However, the staff seemed to know a lot of people by name. So, if you're a regular or they like you, you seem to get concierge service. If they don't know you, then, well...what did you order? why don't we have your ticket? What? I won't be going back any time soon. read more

Do I write too many reviews of Starbucks? Well, they've got us addicted to their quality (and highly caffeinated) coffee, but they are stunningly inefficient as a rule. If it weren't for the promise of good cup of charged bean, I'd never frequent one again. Yet, shamefully, I do... And this one is pretty okay! The staff is friendly and relatively efficient, although it rarely gets crowded enough to be an issue. There's a moderate amount of seating, so you can get comfy if you'd like. As for the product itself, it's standard-issue - which is why you go to Starbucks. I'm shocked at the low rating of this location. I came here on one occasion while working on Long Island, and it was not a terrible, life-altering visit. I ordered my coffee and pastry, and sat pleasantly by the window. I wasn't the only seated guest, either. There were a few of us, and we all seemed to be enjoying our peace, quiet, and free WiFi. We had to have a drink remade because they sweetened one of our iced teas. No one was in a rush to make drinks even with an ever increasing line. I've been to this location twice in the past 5 days and had great experiences both times. My coffees (Americano & iced coffee) were made to perfection and the customer service was excellent. It was busy so I had to sit in a large chair without a table, but can't be mad as it's not their fault I came at a busy time. Parking was easy. I'll be a new regular. read more

Why does this locations Pike Coffee taste completely different than the Syosset, Woodbury, and Roslyn locations? Consistency is always off. I come to this Starbucks whenever I'm in town visiting family. It's convenient. Service varies. Some of the kids are very nice and efficient, some not so. Like several other reviews, the thing that always strikes me about this place is how dirty it is. The shelves are lined with stock and the condiments are always full, but the tables and the service area are a mess. I think some adult supervision would help. I'll still come back because I like the coffee and the service is mostly good, but please wipe down a table once in a while. read more

This Starbucks is beautiful and quiet. I love to come here for a coffee or something to drink with a friend. My only concern, is that the quality of the coffee is degrading. The flavor seems to have been streamlined across all coffee flavors, tasting the same, and a little burned tasting. It didn't used to have this flavor. i can not say i am a big starbucks fan but when i am in glen cove and mcdonald's or a diner is not pulling me in then your local starbucks next to the movie theater will do just fine. a decent size place that is not crowded at 10 30 am with enough tables and comfy seats to enjoy your overpriced cappy and blueberry scone. the folks behind the counter cranking out the bevs were ok in my opinion and place was clean enough with condiment table nicely stocked . you have your starbucks music playing in the background and a wall shelves with mugs, coffee bags and other sb stuff for sale. nothing really stands out at this location and that's ok with me. p.s. free fast wifi tends to make folks hang around a bit longer inside . read more
