I've been to a lot of coffee shops in nearby cities and big cities around the country and Sozo's is just as good if not better than any I've visited. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the environment is really laid back, with lots of space to sit and work or meet with friends, coworkers, or classmates. They source their own beans, and make their own baked goods in house. I'll often order their drip cause it's so good, but I also love their pour over, the Nutty Irishman, or just a plain Cortado. Dad and I drove over and got black coffee, lemon blueberry scone and a chocolate chip cookie. All were excellent! There was a single barista and he did his best to work quickly and serve everyone. He did a nice job especially since it was rather busy! Very happy to have a good coffee shop nearby.
