I'd been curious about how the space had been transformed, so Nate and I stopped in recently while in town. The main building now houses a fresh market, coffee shop, gift shop, cider bar, and a bespoke barbershop. There is another building on the premises that is a separate boutique store called Pink & Frillos, but that wasn't open when we stopped by. It's a little bit of a lot of things, but what we experienced was nice. They also rent some part of the place as an event venue. I'm not sure if they still do u-pick apples, hayrides, corn mazes etc. or not. We ordered a meat, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich, a couple coffee drinks, and a doughnut. The employees were not overly friendly or even really smiling, so I agree that they could have been friendlier - they all seemed to be high school or college age. Our order was done quickly and we settled in to eat. The sandwich was hot and the croissant was buttery and soft. I really liked the crispy bacon on the sandwich. It was a good portion to split along with the cinnamon sugar doughnut, which was fresh and fluffy. My oat milk latte was decent but nothing special. They use Madcap coffee at Frugthaven. Overall we had a nice time and I'd come back to try the hard cider. There's some outdoor seating and the bar area looked spacious and airy. The old timey barbershop is cool, but feels a bit weird and out of place. Otherwise the other elements of the business seem to fit. They seem to be catering to an older/Millennial crowd that wants a good shot for Instagram, versus the more family-friendly farm that it used to be. Inside has plenty of space for working or studying, and the employees were all friendly. The person taking our order kept getting interrupted by other employees asking questions, so we had a little bit of a wait to order, but I knew they had just opened. I got an oat milk latte, and Nate ordered the chocolate cream cold brew. This location has food options too, although a couple were sold out or unavailable when we were there. I like that you can bring your own clean mug for your drink and get 10 cents off, as well as 25 Stars if you're a rewards member. The wait for our drinks was not long and we were on our way. My latte was just okay - definitely not the best I've had, but not the worst either. The oat milk didn't taste as good as I'm used to and the drink overall had a funky taste to it.
