There was a lot to desire in the service I received. I made an online order and showed up a bit after my designated time to discover that my drinkers were still not ready. I patiently waited 20 minutes more, watching others go in and out even if they ordered after me, just to later ask and find that they had yet to even begin making my drinks. Only after I had asked the 3rd time did they begin on my drinks, presumedly, because I was annoying them with my questioning. Overall, I am disappointed with the management of the store. very unorganized :( read more

I just visited the Starbucks location at Crossroads Parkway in Gulfport, MS. The barista who took my order was named Stacy. She made a mistake on my order and had a bad attitude about the mistake. Stacy continued to berate me about her mistake. I am a 13 year old and felt disrespected. I am a frequent customer of all Starbucks. This incident upset me. I have been to many Starbucks and this one I always hold close to my heart. It is by far one of my favorite locations to get my morning coffee. I noticed since the management has changed the baristas are so much happier and the service is soo much better. Great location. I come from up north and like to stop here before I hit the beach. It has good access to both HWY 49 and I-10. There are many shops near by. My order is always ready when I get there (I order it on my phone), but the phone drink area is by the drive through line which doesn't make any sense at all. It also only got a "B" rating in terms of cleanliness by the state, which kind of grosses me out. read more

This drive thru line was long this morning and I only had 10 min max to get thru it...so I wasn't sure if I could but I took the risk. To start, I will say that I visited this location on Memorial day and had a very pleasurable experience. The woman who helped me at the counter was extremely pleasant and took extra care to make sure that my order was made to perfection. I was able to study in peace and enjoy a nice tea. However, I had a vastly different experience today in the drive through line. Per the usual, I ordered a green tea and requested that none of the sugary syrup be added to my drink, as sugary drinks tend to give me headaches almost immediately. When I got my drink, I tasted it to make sure that they hadn't added the syrup, because I understand that people make mistakes and all. Sure enough, it was ridiculously sweet. I kindly noted that it was rather sweet, and requested that I have a tea that did not have sugar in it. Immediately upon the request, I got rude looks from a couple of the baristas. The nice girl that I asked about the sugar spoke with the person that had made my drink, who insisted that I was wrong, there was no sugar in my drink (though at this point I could feel a headache coming on and the baristas continued to give me rude looks). I write all of this to say that I understand that there are difficult customers in the world, as I have worked in customer service before and dealt with some really difficult people, so I go out of my way to not make things difficult on those serving me. What I do not understand or appreciate, however, is an individual in customer service who not only tells the customer they're wrong, but in an unnecessarily rude way. read more

I am being forced to leave a star, this location does not deserve half of a star. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. The manager on duty takes my order, then turns to her staff with a full house full of customers and says "I hope y'all have this, I have to go." Then she leaves the store. I wish I could give less than one star. I had an extremely awful experience today. A barista named Erika was awful to every single customer that she encountered. A woman in the lobby encouraged me and many others to reach out to corporate about her behavior. Normally I would let this slide, however; this is not the first time I have seen this girl act in an awful manner. I have overheard her lashing out at coworkers and cursing in the common area. Just about a month ago she lashed out on my wife in drive-thru and I told my wife to let it slide. The worker that was at the window before Erika informed my wife that someone took her mobile order, but offered no solution. My wife asked what she should do and Erika reached passed the other worker and slammed the door shut. My wife could hear her speaking loudly and aggressively to her coworker. After some time went by Erika swung open the window and said: "what do you want us to do about it?" In a very angry manner. My wife said "I am in a hurry..." and before she could finish speaking Erika cut her off and told my wife that she was wasting her time. My wife tried to repeat that she was in a hurry because she is a nurse and needed to get to work. Erika cut her off again and spoke slowly in a mocking manner saying "Do you want to drive away or do you want us to remake it?" My wife said, "Remake it?" Erika turned to her coworker and said: "Was that really that hard?" before slamming the window in my wife's face again. I do not know why this young girl is so angry but I know that this is not the line of business for her. Many customers in line today were complaining about her making inappropriate remarks regarding customers. Customer service is deplorable, I was actually yelled at for asking for a straw when they threw my drink at me and they spilled it all over my pastries so I had to wait another 15 minutes for my mobile order while I watched walk in customers receiving their orders before mine. The manager was on site and sitting at a table counting money while the dining room was falling apart around her, she couldn't be bothered! I'm from Seattle and know how a real starbucks operates, which heightened my frustrations at this circus I was watching. If I could give this location less than one star I would. I am not one to make complaints or call a manager as I know how the service industry can be. I know all days are not bright. However, I have not had one smooth transaction at this location. I am a loyal customer and go daily. Every time there is an issue either with the employee being rude or my drink being made incorrectly. I visited a few days ago and placed an online order. I saw that my drink was ready and asked several times if I could have it. A girl named Samantha and another blonde employee completely ignored me. This was not a busy time as there were only 3 other customers. Another customer approached me and said she had had the same issue the day prior. Today I went back because I called about my drink being made completely wrong. I know I should check before leaving but, I'm on the go especially with having to wait 30 minutes. The woman working the drive-thru window rudely asked me who it was that said I could have my drink remade when the woman I had spoken with on the phone said that she wrote my name in a binder. She continued to have an attitude when I asked to order something else. I will no longer be returning to Starbucks. I have had enough. Please avoid this location. Terrible service. read more

I waited in front of the cash register for an espresso and a pink drink. Cars came and left through the drive through. An employee even made us (I said us because of the rest of the line behind me) believe that they would open a second register. Nope they didn't. Went in and ask for an iced coffee and i quickly clarified as to what it was called at Starbucks (their jargon), the girl said with a smile on here face, "I'm a coffee person, I know you want." Then without realizing it, the guy fixing the coffee handed me my coffee and said make sure it is what you expected and ill remake it if it isn't.
