I got to this Starbuck for the only reason that I needed an "office for the day". I had run some errands in Opa Locka early in the morning and I had no way to return home on time to clock in, so I just entered the first Starbucks around. Now, this particular Starbucks is not really laid out for office work, because it is small and noisy and sun reflects on your screen a lot, but it does have everything you need in an emergency. Plus, the coffee is still the usual Starbucks quality (so it all depends on if you enjoy that or not, but I'd say that's a plus). The Breakfast muffins could use some work, and the lunch sandwiches seem to be smaller than I remember, but, again, it's the overall quality of what Starbucks is supposed to be. Back in the day, and by that I mean my high school days in '08, this was the place to be. Not much has changed since then. Well yes, I've gotten older and I do my best to stay out of Hialeah despite it being the city I was born in, but this Starbucks has not changed. The parking is still ample, the Wi-Fi free, and the coffee amazing. The drive-thru is still crazy, but you get out of there fast. About the only actual change to Starbucks is that they have cake pops now; oh and perhaps their Starbucks Rewards program. All in all, this Starbucks is a tried and true for me. I've never had any problems. On the off chance they mess up my order, they always fix it accordingly. Today my order was perfect. I bought a toasted plain bagel with cream cheese and a tall white chocolate mocha with nonfat milk and no whipped cream. No problems whatsoever. This Starbucks is a favorite of mine. They get me in and out and their really nice. The place is always clean. They also offer free WiFi which is great. They have a drive through, it's a little weird set up but it gets the job done. They're pretty fast and they know what they're doing however they not too good when it comes to specialty drinks just make sure you're very specific. read more

Not my preferred Starbucks, but easily 5 star worthy. This Starbucks location gets TONS of traffic especially since it's located right on 49, but no worries the baristas are on top of their game and get the job done. The staff here is friendly, easy going, and they handle both lines indoor, and drive-thru with ease while preparing your drink exactly how you ordered it. I've never had an issue at this Starbucks which is incredible because it's always busy when I come in to pick up a coffee. Since this location does get a lot of traffic it may be hard to find a table if you're with a group or if you're trying to get work done I wouldn't prefer this location. There's seating available indoors and outdoors, but like I mentioned before this place gets packed in both sections, and has got really popular. Plus the fact that it's located on 49 it's just destined to get a lot of traffic and customers. I'd also recommend avoiding the drive thru, although the team works the line of cars fast... the drive thru line can get really long! Overall you're better off parking and taking a walk inside the store, and you'll be out of there with your coffee before you know it. Again not my preferred Starbucks since it gets packed like a night club, but if you're in the area I highly recommend it. I saw a flavor I've never heard of, this chili mocha. I came yesterday and asked the lady @the drive thru she said that Lindt chocolate had that flavor so I tried the chocolate before getting the Frappuccino today, not bad so I bought the frap and honestly I'm disappointed. It's like a light mocha flavor. When I order it I could've sworn the cashier said mocha so I corrected her. Guess who was charged for 2 chili mocha Frappuccinos today? This Starbucks always has really long drive-thru wait times. Today I sat in my car for 15 minutes waiting for a coffee and when I was halfway home I realized my coffee was actually a peppermint tea. One of the better Starbucks in the area, well since the Starbucks on W 16th Ave closed its just about the only location in the area. I like this location due to the fact it has a drive thru. When I am on the go and in need of a coffee fix, there is nothing better than a Starbucks that has a drive thru. The line can get big, but the staff knocks it out quick. The inside of the store is also very spacious. Perfect for study groups or a work meeting. There is also outdoor seating as well. The barista's are friendly and always help you create new and interesting drinks. They also have spunk and make you smile or bring a laugh to your face. I haven't been to Starbucks in a while. I don't avoid it, but I don't really see what's so great about it, nor do I enjoy paying about $4 for a coffee. Anyway, after leaving a family member's house in the area, I had a craving for a refreshing iced tea. Thankfully, I had some SB gift cards in my wallet and decided to finally make use of them. Although I arrived about five minutes before closing, there were still a good amount of people both inside the store and outside. From what I could see, the location indoors isn't the biggest, but it does look pretty modern and clean. I pass by here frequently, and it does seem to get crowded but that's to be expected. I used their drive thru and it was easy and the person who took my order not only gave me some time to look over the menu but was clear and efficient. The server was kind and attentive. My green tea lemonade was ready when I got to the window, gave him my GC and was on my way. It was very refreshing and what I needed - not too sweet but not too bitter.
