I love Cali coffee! This location is close to my job so I come here often. It's nothing but politeness and smiles from placing the order to the pick up window. On days when I am teaching late at the university and I need a pick me up I get one of their refreshers and I have energy for hours! No matter the location, the energy and great customer service is consistent. This is a drive-thru coffee shop so the lines in the mornings can be long but it moves fast. My favorite food item is the chocolate chip muffin top it's a must try. It's big enough to share. They serve the muffin top cold (I know it sounds weird) but it's actually so good. I knew I wanted an iced coffee but I couldn't decide between a snickerdoodle or the banana nut. Come to find out, I could get a mix of both! The server, Taylor, who was great btw said their menu is completely customizable and she is the one who suggested getting a mix of both. So I ended up ordering an iced extra sweet banana nut latte with cinnamon, oat milk whip cream and drizzle of caramel inside and on top with light ice. The coffee here is above any franchise I have been to. What really sets them apart though is the staff. Whoever does the hiring at all of the Cali Coffee locations is a genius because the staff at every location is not part of the wokeness they are cheerful and they happily greet you. They don't care what color your hat is and what your bumper sticker says They greet everyone like you are their best buddy and always ask what's are you plans for the day! The flavors are heavy & syrupy. The shakes are decadent. The coffee drinks feel closer to shakes. I tried a simple chai & it tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch - tastes great, but not like tea. We have sat outside in the seating area and had shakes ( which are thick and delicious) and drank our frozen coffees. We go here at least 2-3x a month to get our special coffees. They even have sugar free options. My daughter loves the muffin tops. I would rate those 3.5/5. I think the coffee and shakes is what they do best. I enjoy their Nirvana coffee sugar free with extra espresso frozen and it's great! They have stickers I believe the first week of the month. Just a great place to go. Welcome to Pines, Cali Coffee! I was able to take a friend for the soft opening and also got to attend their grand opening for dollar day! West Pines is definitely growing and this location is sure to be a hit. They are on Pines Blvd right across from the Super Walmart in the same plaza as Aldi and Walgreens. This location has their classic drive-thru and walk-up window but also has two tables to enjoy your drinks, similar to Hollywood, which I love! My go-to orders are a frozen Hurricane (chocolate macadamia) with mac milk or if I'm feening for a more refreshing light drink, the Paradise (peach & mango) with green tea as a base doesn't disappoint! You can get any of their drinks iced or frozen with many dairy alternatives. They also have a simple part of their menu for those who like coffee with no frills- latte, americano, cortadito, etc. Of course, the staff is possibly THE friendliest you'll ever encounter in life. Even on a day as hectic as Grand Opening Dollar Day, they take their time to chat with everyone while providing speedy service. It's small and there's no inside but it's more of a chill and relax as you wait for your coffee. The wait is not very long but it was a surprise to find this spot where it was in Pembroke Pines. This is the third store in the Cali Coffee family and just as the ones in Hollywood (the original) and Cooper City, they're serving up their delicious drinks, always with a smile on their faces. If you haven't been to any of the Cali Coffee locations, I highly recommend you go check them out. They have teas, flavored sodas (caffeine free) coffee and even milkshakes! You can get many of the drinks made sugar free or with almond milk. On the first of each month they offer up a different Cali Coffee themed sticker so the lines might be a little longer then but it's still worth the wait. The staff is so accommodating and will make your drinks however you like them and are more than willing to offer suggestions based on your personal preferences. WARNING! EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE!!! I now need Cali coffee daily! So many fun options to try, which is why it took me too long to write a review. I'm the kind of person who needs to be able to taste the coffee, and I don't like my coffee too sweet at all. The first time I went, there was an extremely long line but two people were outside taking orders to be more efficient. They are sooo friendly and will take their time to help you make a decision. They offer three sizes, S, M, L. And you can get your coffee iced, frozen and hot. Depending on the flavors, you can get it sugar free or less sugar. I almost always get half sugar. The coffees are white milk or chocolate milk based. My favorites are: phantom (Irish cream), frozen with half sugar. I also like nirvana, frozen with half sugar. Funky monkey is banana with white chocolate and is... well funky but yummy. My husband is NOT a coffee or tea drinker but he is able to enjoy their milkshakes. So far he has had the swirl (vanilla and chocolate) and the valentine (strawberry and white chocolate). He tried their "fruity" menu thinking it would be more similar to shaved or Italian ice (it's not) & he wasn't really a fan. Overall I love the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. My GPS sent me to the wrong location, but it's truly not difficult to navigate to if you spot the store before you turn into the wrong plaza.
