I love Nespresso products. I use to love this store as well.. Recently I came in for a quick refresh of my pods. I told the gentleman I was in a rush to make my dinner reservation and could come back if there was a wait. He immediately helped me. Quick, efficient, no problem. I said "thank you" and left... I get to dinner and receive a text message from an unknown number. The person that assisted me went into my profile, got my number and began messaging me. I immediately blocked him but WHERE I LIVE is inside my profile. This is just really not okay your staff has the ability to locate and contact me like this... Sadly I'm afraid to return to this storefront in fear of seeing this BOLD person again.

Wow, I have always wanted to visit the Nespresso store and I am so glad I finally got the opportunity! This store is located within the Aventura mall specifically on the second floor. There are not many of these stores around in South Florida but this is one of them. I am a huge Nespresso fan. I have convinced many people to buy Nespresso and I usually buy my pods on the Nespresso website but today I got to experience the physical location. The store may seem tiny, but it actually has a ton of character throughout. The walls are decorated with very nice tones that feel very inviting. Once you are inside, there is a barista booth where they offer a variety of different Nespresso flavors to try from both Nespresso pod versions. They have so many different flavors to try and you can get it with milk creams sugars you name it. It's a very nice touch to be able to sample a pod you were considering buying, but weren't sure how it would taste. I definitely have tried some pods in the past I did not like so this opportunity allowed me to experiment with a pod that I wasn't sure I wanted to buy a sleeve of. I tried the festive limited edition flavor, and I loved it. So much so that I bought two sleeves of that pod after I tried it. In total, our order had 10 sleeves of pods which we were given three additional sleeves free for Black Friday weekend. Seven of those sleeves were mine as I drink Nespresso every single day whether I'm at home on my Nespresso machine or at work on my Nespresso machine. I actually can't wait to go back. I will have to visit the Aventura Mall just to buy more Nespresso pod sleeves. Hopefully these sleeves will last me a few months, so I won't have to be back too soon. If you're considering visiting, I highly recommend

Every time I visit Hallandale, I stop by at Nespresso in this location. I have not enough words to say how great their customer service is. The place always look nice and neat and the representatives are always friendly. Also, the service is fast and easy. I definitely recommend this location if you want to be treated like a coffee queen.

Came to restock on coffee pods and they have a cool system going on. They have a virtual waitlist. You give your name and they place you on the list to wait. Once its your turn you're called up to one of the cashiers where you can purchase coffee pods, accessories or anything else you may need. In the meantime while you're waiting to be called you can sample the coffee they have available or look at the stuff they have around. The displays themselves are aesthetically pleasing. The Nespresso pod boxes look so pretty color coordinated and stacked up on the walls. We waited about 10-15 minutes to be called up to the cashier. Once we were at the cashier the process was pretty quick. They have a menu in front of you with all the pods that are available for purchase. The staff are helpful too if you have any questions about the pods or the types of coffee. And they are quick to round up and package up your purchases. They pull up your account with your phone number and that's about it! Pay up!

I came here because I was tired of the Colombian coffee pods I have bought for months. I wanted to try something new. I chatted with Barielle. She is so sweet and really wanted to help me find the right coffee for me. She suggested the Melozio pods. These are a little bolder than the Colombian ones. She brought me out a cup of this and boy did I love this coffee. It is like she knew my taste buds exactly. So I bought a few sleeves of them to stock up. They have new little machines since I bought my Vertuo. These are in pastel colors and are attractive. They are smaller than my machine. They have many other coffee pods to choose from. Stop in and try something new.

Oh, I missed coconut flavoured coffee for so long! So glad I came in and found it!!

One of my favourite locations to shop and sample Nespresso. Gotta say it's always a line here and not all employees are super friendly (especially their supervisor I met once) but other employees are great! I would always choose to come here.

this is a gun boutique in the Aventura mall. I like that the first area you pass is a nice employee who gets you an espresso- it can be flavored or plain! I don't like flavors so I went for the plain . smart. then the consumer is in a good mood and as you walk they ask you if they can help you .They have beautiful products and a nice big poster with George Clooney! Can't go wrong with that! Sometimes they have a special and then you can save a little money on the "sleeves" of the capsules! Very smart marketing in this sti

A super small store and they never had any Puerto Rican coffee we were looking for. They couldn't even call any other stores to see if they had it. There was a lineup when we went in that moved a bit slow so we gave up on shopping there.

We are a Keurig Family. Our daughter was insistent on getting a box of the Pumpkin Spice Cake Coffee at Nespresso. Because of COVID, you are restricted from walking around on your own. There is a line and you need to wait your turn for an assistant to guide you. Our assistant was a little confused when I asked her for a box of Pumpkin Spice Coffee when she was told that we love our Keurig. I know the Nespresso pods only fit a Nespresso maker, but I loved the look on her face when she asked us how in the world will we be able to use their coffee pods without their coffee maker. Listen up young pup. This old dog is going to teach you a new trick. All you need to do is cut open the Nespresso pod and dump the coffee in a reusable coffee pod and place it in a Keurig. She tilted her head and said that she had never thought of that. One for the old dog. Looking forward to Monday morning having a Nespresso coffee come through a Keurig coffee machine.

Felt kind of bad walking in but he was gracious enough to give us a tour of the shop and even explained the roasting process and what each machine did. As if the tour wasn't enough, he even offered to give us a private cupping session. It was so awesome! We learned the proper way to make coffee and had the opportunity to try some. Ended up tasting the Ethiopia and Colombia. The Ethiopia was nice, light, and had an interesting flavor. It was like tea and I enjoyed drinking it as is. After waiting 35 minutes for my latte, I finally had to go ask about it myself. There was no apology, no acknowledgment, just "we'll make it." After another 5 minutes of waiting, I noticed the cashier remind the barista again. She eventually brought the latte to the table, dropped it off, and walked away -- no "thank you for waiting," no apology, nothing. A roaster bearing the name of…read morean Indigenous people -- the Calusa, the ancient shell-mound builders, the unconquered lords of South Florida's mangroves and waterways. People who never surrendered. People whose bones are folded into this very soil. As someone who walks through this world carrying Taíno blood and the memory of peoples whose names colonizers tried to erase, that word hit different. It wasn't a gimmick. It wasn't a logo. It was a declaration -- that this land has a story older than any espresso machine, and somebody here understood that. That understanding alone earned my curiosity and my respect before I'd even stepped through the door. "The name carried the weight of a people who never bent. That's the kind of legacy worth building a roastery around." Then I learned the story behind the man behind the roaster -- and it only deepened my respect. Luis Arteaga came home from serving in the United States Marine Corps and did what so many veterans do: he looked for work. No fanfare. No red carpet. Just a man with discipline in his bones and calluses on his hands, trying to find his next mission in a civilian world that doesn't always know what to do with people like that. He found his way to the original owners of Calusa Coffee Roasters. They saw in him what the Corps had always seen -- dependability, grit, and a willingness to learn. They gave him a job. A floor to stand on. And Luis did what Marines do -- he didn't just fill a position, he grew into something greater. Over time, through sweat and dedication and an unmistakable passion for the craft, he rose to become the owner of the very roastery that once took a chance on him. That's not a business story. That's an American story. A veteran's story. And it's exactly the kind of origin that makes a cup of coffee taste like something more than coffee. CALUSA COFFEE ROASTERS IS A SOUTH FLORIDA INSTITUTION Fast forward to today, and Calusa Coffee Roasters isn't just surviving -- it is a staple. Walk into the right cigar bar on a Friday evening and someone at the table will mention the name. Sit down at the right diner counter on a Tuesday morning and a regular will nod toward that familiar bag. In South Florida's rich, layered, cafecito-and-culture coffee landscape, that kind of word-of-mouth is earned over years of consistency, of showing up, of never letting the cup get small. Luis continues to build something that belongs to this community -- rooted in the terroir of a region as complex and layered as its people. The coffee is exceptional. Bold where it should be bold, nuanced where it earns it. The kind of roast that makes you sit down instead of rushing out. That's no accident. That's someone who respects the craft because he was forged in institutions that demand nothing less than your best. "When a Marine finds his mission in a roastery, every bag he puts his name on carries the same standard -- do it right or don't do it at all." Meeting Luis was one of those moments I didn't expect to move me the way it did. We are both moving through the coffee world trying to build something that means something -- something rooted in identity, in service, in the belief that what's in the cup should tell a story worth hearing. And here was a fellow Marine who had walked a road I recognize: uncertain ground, earned footing, and a refusal to quit. And finally, if you are in South Florida and you have not made the pilgrimage to Calusa Coffee Roasters on Commercial Blvd, you are overdue. Go for the coffee -- stay for the story. And if you're lucky enough to meet the man himself, shake his hand. He earned it in more ways than one. To Luis Arteaga and everyone at Calusa: thank you for carrying a name that honors this land. Thank you for honoring the service that shaped you. And thank you for a cup of coffee that carries the weight of all of it without spilling a drop. Semper Fi, brother. Keep roasting.

My fiancé was already at the register ordering when I walked in to ask for our cortado in a proper Gibraltar glass (as we've always had it before at this establishment). The staff member heard me and blatantly ignored me, helping others instead. It was clear he didn't want to deal with the request. He even kept telling other customers (loud enough for me to hear) that everything was to-go only. Instead of addressing me, he eventually had his coworker step in to take my order. When I repeated my request, they both looked bothered and declined it stating that the OWNER told them to serve in to-go cups only due to the "event," despite no signs or anything indicating a change from any other busy weekend we've seen previously. The whole situation felt dismissive and poorly handled. What's even more frustrating is the complete disregard for both quality and environment. Any regular coffee drinker knows a cortado doesn't taste the same in a paper cup versus a proper Gibraltar glass--the ratio and experience are completely off. On top of that, serving everything in paper cups lined with plastic isn't exactly a healthy or environmentally conscious choice. It felt like pure convenience for the staff rather than any real reason. Really disappointing, and not a place we'll be recommending.
