Starbucks in Hudson Ohio is a really solid Main Street stop that fits the town well. It is conveniently located near the FedEx store and right by a local bakery which makes it easy to bundle errands or grab something extra while you are downtown. Even though this location does not have a drive through it is an easy walk in and out, especially if you are already strolling along Main Street or coming from nearby shops and restaurants. Parking is generally nice for a Main Street location with options close by that make stopping in pretty painless. Mobile order pickup is especially easy here since you can place your order ahead of time and quickly grab it inside without any hassle. Inside, the store feels fresh and modern thanks to a thoughtful renovation of an older building, and it manages to keep some character while still feeling updated and comfortable. The layout works well whether you are grabbing a quick coffee or hanging out for a bit. The staff here are consistently friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. Orders are handled efficiently and there is a genuine small town vibe that matches Hudson perfectly. I had the worst experience at this location. They made my drink incorrectly, which I understand- mistakes happen. What was the worse about my experience was that the barista set my drink aside and rather than making my drink again, she was making drink for other 3 people who came after me. When I asked her about why she is not making my drink, her response was that she is "sequencing". I asked to speak with the manager and her response was the same. "They were told by the corporate office to sequence". it was sad to see that they just couldn't see what was wrong with this picture!!! Beth! You rule. Someone give her a raise. For context, the weather was terrible. It was a dark, rain/sleet slush that was pretty miserable. Beth was a breath fresh air and super pleasant to talk to. I'm not normally compelled to write reviews of a big chain, but excellent service deserves to be written about! I don't drink coffee (I'm a tea person) but she helped me construct the perfect to-go drink for my coffee drinking friend who had literally given me the instruction of "cold" and "coffee." This is a great location, and a crowded parking lot. They have a standing room line out the door on Saturday mornings. We had a bad experience with the store closing at 9:30 pm on a Saturday evening and had another experience with them rushing us out on another Saturday night. The store has a closing time of 10:00. We had just arrived both times. One Barista here did not know how to make the Pink Tazo Tea Lemonade, and put extra Berry flavoring in it. It was truly awful. When I told her it was not right, she retried it and still used Berry flavoring. No other Starbucks has this problem. They truly need a good Trainer here and a Manager who will check on the Employees at closing time for the store. It is a very bad feeling to get rushed out of a store, when you have just arrived. read more

A 3 star review from Raymond....for a STARBUCKS? Gasp! I am sure you are wondering what could have possibly happened to create such discord inside of me. Do not fret, the coffee is still good and Starbucks and I are still hot for each other. Although, this location and I need a little therapy to work out our differences. First, they lose a star for the parking and layout of the parking lot. Not only is it horrible to get in and out of this location.....fighting for a parking spot is like a battle for the finish. I get it people, we love coffee. We NEED coffee. But, I do not NEED an insurance claim or to call the police. Chill out yo. Second, this location tends to be a bit more on the dirty side. Not gross dirty like my Uncle Harry, but it could use some extra love and wiping to get this place up to snuff with Starbucks standards. This is an older location and could use some interior updating. The bathrooms don't always function as they should and the layout it really odd if you ask me. The staff here is pretty nice, but definitely not my favorite. I really only frequent this location if I must....and sometimes I MUST have coffee at all costs. read more

Something negative is happening at this location. The drinks are poorly made, it appears the baristas do not know HOW to properly make the drinks. Latest example is the cold foam cold brew drink Which for three times in a row has come to me looking and tasting like the vanilla sweet cream cold brew. I have had to drive back over to have my drink remade and this last time today I was given the explanation that this is how THEY make the cold foam cold brew drink with so creamer that it is light brown and no layer of foam on top. ??? It just tells me something is wrong in the training and management at this location. This is one of many examples where drinks are poorly made. It would've been nice if they had even offered to compensate me for the fact that I had to return for a remake but again not at this location. Sorry about your luck seems the motto. read more

Sadly each time I decide to give the Hudson Starbucks another try, I'm reminded why I drive farther to any other location. I spend way too much time waiting in line while associates socialize with each other and get out Mobile Orders. All while ignoring in-store customers. Wow has this place gone down hill. For the last three times I have been here, the drink orders have been screwed up. Went there this morning and expected a caramel soy latte and got a coffee with milk -- no soy, no caramel. However, there was a lot of caramel on the outside of the cup. It's Starbucks so you probably already know the drinks. This location also has the rare lunch sandwiches/paninis. Usually the parking lot is packed well before the inside so keep driving around to find a spot. The parking lot does not reflect what is going on inside. I knocked off a star for the lack of a drive thru. This location predates the concept of Starbucks drive thru and there is no way to readily add one but given the lack of parking here, it really creates unnecessary delay. It's probably well past time to relocate in Hudson so that modern amenities can be realized. read more

I don't tend to frequent this Starbucks but it was worth a review after my experience this past week. I'm addicted to Starbucks' bacon gouda breakfast sandwiches. While waiting for my chai tea latte I heard the guy say "Wow, there's no bacon on this" and made me another one before I even knew it. It's a Starbucks. There's not much more to say about what it is and what they offer. All of them are essentially the same. This particular Starbucks is friendly, clean, and quick. I only swing by when I need to get work done away from the office. It does well for that purpose. I don't eat the food and I usually only get an unsweetened iced tea or a cafe misto with whole milk (that's a cafe au lait in non-Starbucks speak). Those two items are usually good. Somebody before me remarked that "this may be the slowest Starbucks in a 20 mile radius". Based on my experience, I would expand the radius to 200 miles. There is "slow" and there is "glacial"!!! My last visit was going to be simple: a "Blonde" for my travel mug, a Grande dark roast to go and a heated sausage egg muffin. Waited while one server (I refuse to call them Barristas) finished brewing the Blonde and the other server talked to regular after regular, giving some sort of update. After watching people go through the line and walk away with their orders for five minutes, I went up and asked about my order. I saw them pull the sandwich out and throw it away (obviously overheated) and I said that I would just leave as i had to be somewhere, but would just like my travel mug back.This was now at the eight minute mark and I finally saw that two additional servers were in the back room and were asked to come to the counter, as the line was now eight deep!! My teens wanted to stop and get a drink on the way to a meeting at the library. I dropped them at the door and drove around the parking lot, due to lack of parking. After a couple dozen trips around the lot and 15 minutes later a parking spot opened up, still no kids. At the 25 minute mark and now late for the meeting I went in to see what was going on. Kids were still waiting for their drinks and others that had come in after them had already received orders and left. The barista said someone else must have picked up their orders, find that hard to believe since one was a snickerdoodle hot chocolate, how many orders do they get for those? More than 30 minutes later they finally had their drinks but this is ridiculous! read more

Very very slow service. Which is okay. I don't mind waiting for something that I enjoy. I believe someone in charge waited on my son and I. She was rude rude rude. But she was telling other employees what to do, so I assume she was important. That's fine. Be rude. But when I see the person that was behind me in line get their drink after waiting forever I get worried. I mentioned I thought there was s problem. So the manager hopped out from behind the register ,proceeded to make my son his drink she forgot to enter. Luckily us,no sugar. But it wasn't worth going back to that woman.
