Walked in and were told that it was a 45 min wait, totally fine for a Sunday. My partner had been here multiple times and told me they stay busy. As soon as we added our name to the list a couple got up from the bar (first come first serve). I bolted to get a couple seats. I noticed the couple returned their food and left. Didn't think anything of it. There was only one bartender tending and he was over worked. He appeared a lot when we first sat down, but hadn't received any menus, so we needed a minute. Then he disappeared for a while. Finally got his attention and put our order in. The crab bowl came and the eggs were missing. We sent it back and the gentlemen came back saying the chef agrees there's no eggs and we can add them to this bowl. No thank you. It's been taken around and people were poking in it looking for the eggs that weren't there. They remade it but this time they added 1 slice of turkey bacon and 1 slice of regular bacon. We asked for turkey bacon. My bread was soggy and evened up not eating most of it. The rest was fine. The beignets were not as airy but still fine. The two ladies making coffees were so behind that I think they lost the coffee order we had placed. We finally got it along with silverware after a moment of waiting. This place was nonstop busy and perhaps understaffed. I'm sure when they're on their A game everything is fabulous. This day was not it. Would I go back, sure. I'd give them a second try. My husband ordered a build-your-own omelet with a side of grits, but the grits never arrived. By the time our server checked on us, we were already halfway through our meal, so there wasn't much point in bringing them out. Service was very slow overall. I ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffles were flavorful overall but very sweet. Unfortunately, the chicken was overcooked and lacked seasoning. I also tried the Mocha Beignet Cold Brew with Sweet Cold Foam, and it was very good . What a nice find. Saturday brunch was fantastic! The service was slow, but the meal was worth the wait. I tried the Hams of Time. It came with ham, bacon, arugula, and tomatoes on a toasted bread with kettle chips. I washed it down with a strawberry amaretto sour. That too was a special drink with a lot of love poured into it. Great service, nice ambiance, but food sadly missed the mark. Went here for lunch at 12:30pm on a Wednesday with a group of three, and were seated without wait. Staff here was superb. Very friendly, full of energy and helpful with us figuring out our orders. The interior has plenty of seats, and a full bar and cocktail menu. Drinks include mocktails, a very small selection of zero proof, teas and large selection of coffee drinks I got a Turtle Time with whip. A fun frapp with chocolate and caramel drizzle. Overall, a delicious treat. I was excited for the beignets here, but they sadly smelled like they were fried in slightly too overused oil. But otherwise were great especially with the chocolate sauce which saved them. I also got a C30 BLT but unfortunately the bread was salty, and combined with the salt from the bacon, ended up being mostly a sandwich I had to finish with my frapp to wash it down. My party also had some misses with their food orders, though the drinks were all great. Love the service and the location looks wonderful. Went for the first time, beignets were 10/10 I was recommended a frappe (king cake) it sounded to sweet and the waiter said he could do it 1/2 sweet but it was still way to sweet... unless you want sugar do not get it. The meal I tried was creamy grits with crawfish 7/10 my daughter had the chicken a waffle's (she didn't like the waffles) she said it was too sweet. She had ordered a hot chocolate (she didn't like) she is also so pregnant and had to throw up. I guess the mix didn't suit her well. Okay everyone needs to go here immediately. I'm not even being dramatic the food we ate (loaded fries split between me and my brother) was so good it was gone in minutes. The place was so cozy and me and my brother had a great time catching up. We got the pumpkin pie frappe, and an iced apple pie macchiato. HOLYYYYY they were so good , genuinely tasted like pies and then for dessert we got the pumpkin pie beignets and I actually started tearing up it was so good I've never had a reaction like that to a dessert. We had the friendliest greeting when walking in. The restaurant was decorated in Mardi Gras theme as we went in February. The caramel macchiato was the best I have ever had!!! Seriously that coffee was delicious! I don't think I have had a bad beignet in Louisiana and these didn't disappoint. The cowboy bowl was good. I did ask for onions and bell peppers on it. The potatoes were well seasoned. The bacon could have been a little more crispy but that's just my preference. It was still good my daughter had 3 pieces. This was our second time to visit and to eat here and EVERY time it's amazing. The beignets are delicious. We visited the first time around Mardi Gras and had the King Cake latte and King Cake beignets. Yum!! This time we had a plain latte, a lavender latte, a mocha beignet cold brew and an order of beignets. We ordered them to go but since we were just passing through I wasn't sure about timing and the lady I spoke with on the phone was sooo helpful!! The hostess and Michael our server were excellent and attentive the entire time. Even sitting outside (we had our dog with us) they both came out and made sure to check on us and see if anything was needed. We had the cold brew, apple pie tea, beignets, Boudin Benedict with cheese grits, and Alligator Benedict with potatoes. The food came out quickly and was So delicious. My only regret was that I didn't get the cheese grits. Portions are large and done just right. And they brought the same water for our dog! We love animal people! The server took our order, however we waited over an hour and a half for our food but other tables around us that came in way after were served before us. Coffees are great! Beignets were not good - probably over cooked with dirty oil. I would not recommend. They were so bad we didn't finish them and we never do that!! However the Eggs Benedict ,crab cake bowl and French toast were yummy. Service was kind but the kitchen could not keep up with demand . Our order took 52 - 56 minutes from ordering to table. We got our coffees one by one which I found odd. And drank them before our food arrived!! They gave us a five dollar coupon for next time and three waters to go. It is served with potatoes, oatmeal or grits. We both chose potatoes. It was delicious. For our coffees we order Cafe Latte's. They have all the options for coffee from frappes to iced coffees.
