Enjoyed trying the new matcha line and breakfast treats. The cashier and barista were very accommodating and answered and questions we had. We decided on the Double berry matcha was a win along with the Gruyère and bacon egg bites. A perfect combination to the ham and cheese croissant. Apparently, this Starbucks opens when it wants to, doesn't keep to its posted hours, and has no sense of urgency. The manager sat to side on her phone while a trainee who didn't know how to make the drinks struggled slowly and the line just grew. Some people got tired of waiting in line and left coffee-less. Typically, I don't rate chains, but I've been to an atypical amount of Starbucks for your average individual; I've always had a pleasant experience at this particular branch. Things you should know: I. PARKING This Starbucks is within a plaza. There's a massive parking lot in front of and on the side of the building with plenty of free, available spaces. Stress free. II. SERVICE No, this branch does NOT have a drive through which is probably why the employees aren't ran thin and are able to take their time getting your order correct. Customer drink turnover is also quick. III. QUALITY I've always been a fan of how acidic and rich Starbuck's coffee is compared to other franchises that I won't mention. It's dense and not diluted here. IV. CAPACITY This location seems to always be poppin' with people. It's spacious and feels open. You'll always be able to find an available chair. read more

I used to frequent this Starbucks ALL THE TIME when I was in high school, as this was the biggest Starbucks in Johns Creek. Also, it opened the latest. Because of the size, this Starbucks was always busy and despite the size -- it was difficult to find seating almot all the time. Fast forward 8 year later, I was in the JC area and I needed a place to get some work done so I stopped by here. Despite being 8 year later, this Starbucks was busy for a Sunday afternoon. The beauty of this location is that it's located inside a very busy plaza, which also has Regal so there are constantly people here. I ordered my usual iced shaken espresso with sweet cream and the barista who took my order didn't seem so thrilled to be working in general, but she wasn't rude at all in any way. Because this place is always so busy, it took a good minute before my order came out but my drink was made perfectly and I was able to get a lot of work done. This Starbucks definitely brings back memories, and I'm glad I was able to stop by here as it definitely has some great memories here. read more

I have found so many times that I'll walk into a Starbucks and am not even greeted, but this nice guy this morning was awesome. He said hello, and he was even super patient with me while ordering. He really stood out to me, because customer service is so important. Also, I do like their lattes a little better than the ones served down the road. They just do a better job, but there isn't a drive through here, which is a drawback, but hey, I could always use the exercise. If you live under a rock you may not have heard of Starbucks, but they serve specialty teas, coffee, and other fruit flavored drinks like dragonfruit that my child loves. They have a variety of food, too, and unfortunately I love their egg white cheese and pepper bites. Soooo good! Also, their cake pops are bomb. There's something for everyone, even if you don't drink coffee, which unfortunately I have grown to love over the past year. The only thing I hate is the inflation (who doesn't). I mean, Starbucks was never cheap to begin with, but the large latte now is almost $7. Well, thankfully they have have an app which allows you points towards a free drink or food, after you spend you know, like $100 or more lol But no, really, I wanted to give a shout out to this location for the awesome customer service from the young guy at the register. Study review: great place to go if you're looking for a coffee shop to study or work at. Lots of windows and natural lighting. They have a good number of tables that are pretty well spaced apart and a community table that probably sits about 6 comfortably. The music is not too loud and the shop is large enough that there isn't much of an echo. Overall, pretty average Starbucks. Got my order right, which is hard to mess up (pike, no room, personal cup) and was served quickly (within seconds to minutes). When I was there, not much foot traffic either, or because the space is large did not bother me much. Definitely a great place to meet up with people or sit down to get some work done. read more

Came here and ordered a venti iced shaken espresso. When I got my cup it was only half full. Half full. I looked at the barista and said "what is this?" She looks at me and tells me it's my drink and then says that that's right. I told her to fill it up and she says "do you want me to fill it with ice?" I said "no" and she starts arguing with me. Finally she put milk in it to fill it up and tells me that next time I need to ask for the milk. I've ordered this so many times and you don't need to ask for milk, it's a part of the drink(my app receipt proves that). The whole situation felt like a prank and the woman was so snarky. I wasn't the only one with this issue as there was another cup that was 1/4 full of coffee and the rest ice. It was a mobile order so idk what that person said. If you order a 6 dollar venti, you should get a venti. This Starbucks needs to train better I really can't believe I had this interaction. This is the worst customer service I've seen in this Atlanta area. I came this morning and I saw a couple in front of the line who looked very concern they just left after two minutes and I didn't see them ordering anything but they were standing there and looked mad. Then when I tried to ordered nobody really cared that I was standing there and these people from Starbucks didn't even bother to say "please wait a minute" or there were four people there doing things and the store wasn't even crowded. I have to say I saw someone training a person and that person didn't even looked at me. All of them ignored me and I had to raise my voice and asked for help and the man (he's tall and black-so you can know who I'm talking about) was so relax like nothing was happening there and told me to wait then murmured to his partner and they both laughed. I left super mad at this disrespectful people. I went to this Starbucks close to TJmax and next to Chili's and OMG this customer service is amazing and the place was packed. They greet you and are so fast and attentive. Please HIRE better people!! read more

Just stop by for a treat. I order everything bagels and lrg medicine ball. Immediately I taste it. Not as sweet as I like. Order more sugar/honey. The guys tell me he can give it to me on the side. That's fine. I take cup, pull in front of store to pour it in cup. Then I started questioning did I get my card back. So I look for reciept/card. Nothing. I am still sitting in front of store. So then I look at the door and it say mask required. So now I am searching my car for a mask. No luck. I decided to just run in without mask and apologize..then I realized no one is wearing mask. So I ask did the cashier give my card back. Yep they have it.**** Please remove the mask sign on the door. It cant be required customers but yet the employees dont wear them. I am in Healthcare so I am used to 12 hrs with them on. And always check to make sure u get your card and a receipt. Been here a few times now. The staff is quick and cheerful. There's lots of seating, maybe not enough outlets. It can get a little dark on one side of the store. The temperature inside is not too cold. Great place for working, better than the other locations I've been too. Drink wise it's the typical Starbucks but the baristas have never messed up my drink. It's a larger store size as well. Today when I came they had a store special drink - Caramel macchiato Frappuccino which I thought was cool. read more

Went here to provide help on a resume edit for a date. The place was pretty packed when we arrived around 2 PM yesterday afternoon. Each time I turned around to see if the coffee line had decreased, there seemed to be a constant stream of people being added. I suppose it's because this complex had lots of restaurants and the Regal theater nearby. There were mostly young adults here, but there were also the older crowd as well. People dissipated here and there so we were able to find a small table. There were also outdoor seats, but it was a tad chilly to be out there for an hour or two. But that did not deter some kids from throwing a ball around. Parking wasn't bad since this Starbucks was located in a huge food complex like I mentioned above. I think there were some other businesses as well, but it was predominately restaurants. Even so, parking was readily available (like always) since it can never be filled unless there were retail stores. The dead middle of this complex is basically huge and empty. Lol. read more

Staff is always friendly and cheerful. Love the reno that took place at this location. The rustic yet classy design is very nice but I thoroughly miss the bookshelf in the back with rows of books you can read while sipping on your favorite coffee drink. The major perk is this location has a large outside seating area AND they allowed my pup to chill with me at one of the outside seatings! That's a huge plus since Atlanta lacks more restaurants and cafe patios that are pet friendly. It was nice that even the workers came out to show some love to my furbaby. The only downside here or I guess any busy cafe is that the speed of wifi is horrible. I couldn't get any work done because the internet kept lagging. read more

My biggest complaint about this place is the restroom. Now, everyone that drinks coffee (or any liquid) knows that if you stay here long enough you will need to use the facilities. This is Starbucks... they can afford to invest in a fan or air freshener (or gasp, both). Every time I go into the restroom I need to hold my breath and hope to everything holy that the toilet paper dispenser won't fight me. The facilities are very dimly lit as well... which, I am not sure how I feel about that. All I'm saying is clean the restroom, make sure it's stocked (I've had to tell them more than once that they were out of something), and install some sort of Febreeze room spray or something. Stat. I might even bring my own air freshener from here on out, along with a sign that says "I did not make that smell in the restroom just now." Oh, if you still want to visit this location bring a hoodie. It's absolutely freezing in here, which I'm glad they don't skimp on the A/C... but I think they could stand to raise the temp a bit. Oh, and good thing I didn't want a pastry today because the display as pretty barren. I guess my fat cells don't need more company today after all. read more

I don't typically review chains because they're usually consistent. This Starbucks stands out. It feels a mite bit more refined feeling than the other big green and brown - farmer eating - coffee emitting - conglomerated bean houses in that it serves wine to make you forget the villages you're taking advantage of. It's always crowded but there's almost always a seat available which is odd. They thought ahead. The only comparably nice Starbucks in Charlotte (where I'm more familiar) is the Dilworth one which is in a renovated old house. This might sound negative because I'm cynical about Starbucks in general but to be fair, I *did* just drop $13 and stay for an hour here; and I liked it. I recommend the Venti Brevé Latte with Nutmeg and Cinnamon swirled in on top. read more

This Starbucks is fairly large for this area. Two of the walls are windows which provides a spectacular view of ...Peachtree Parkway! The employees are friendly and make the drinks quickly. This Starbucks is a good place to go and catch up on conversation with friends. I've tried studying here a few times and it can be pretty distracting. Watching the Alpharetta/Duluth yuppies, trying to tune out unruly children, and just the smell of coffee is enough to have me feeling like I'm in the middle of a tennis match, eyes back and forth, back and forth. Overall, it's a nice Starbucks and considering it's location, it's convenient if you live in Duluth. read more

OK, so first off a confession. I'm very happily addicted to Starbucks. I know its a massive chain and I should hate it with all my heart but I don't. As a matter of fact I'm in love with it. But as for this particular Starbucks, meh, is the best response I can come up with. The staff is attentive although not the friendliest Starbucks employees in the world. The coffee is universally good and the store well kept. But the people who patronize this place drive me up the wall. Maybe its the fact that I get my break when all the schools get off, or maybe its a fact that its surrounded by really expensive looking houses. But I have never seen so many people unable to decided on what tasty coffee beverage they want to consume. A problem which I'm sure does not effect my fellow yelpers. Its really freaking simple you look at the menu before you get to the counter and choose what you want. But nope people get up to the counter and they can't decide. Or worse they have to keep changing their elaborate orders. Then they see the pastries and then all hell breaks loose. Do you really need to know if the blueberry, cinnamon and banana bread muffins are sugar free? After you just ordered a cup full of sugar with some caffeine? The staff is ok at eventually taking the order of the person behind blockage of the line. However there have been a couple of times I've left after having stood in line for longer then 10 minutes due to one person! In summary good staff, good coffee, good store and horrible customers. read more

Getting a latte should be an enjoyable experience. A customer of a Starbucks should leave any of these fine establishments feeling pleased and, perhaps, a little at ease, knowing that he or she will be able to relax with their hot beverage. Starbucks agrees, with a mission statement that includes a warm and fuzzy pronouncement that they stand for, "Creating a culture of warmth and belonging, where everyone is welcome." Sadly, this is often not the case at this location. This morning, the barista here, usually not quite as happy and communicative as at other locations, was downright surly. I'm all for anyone having a bad day (although in a customer-facing role, you should probably leave that at the door), but an air of general surliness seems to be a theme here. To the management of this Starbucks: please have a chat with your employees. Please explain to them that when a customer says, "thank you" (especially when they say it twice), said customer prefers a "you're welcome" over an annoyed grimace. I will not be coming back here anytime soon. Sadly for my gas mileage, I will be going out of my way (perhaps for an iced tea at Chick-fil-A, where they have a much better grasp on the intricacies of creating a culture or warmth and belonging.) to avoid having to stand awkwardly in front of the counter. There's not much that creates a sense of belonging like patiently waiting for an employee responsible for ensuring great customer service to fix a small drink error, while doing an impressive job of pretending you're not standing there by avoiding looking in your general direction or making any acknowledgement of the fact that you spoke using words, eye contact, or even a short grunt. (Currently writing this at the local public library where I decided to work this morning after fleeing the Starbucks surliness and it's feeling pretty warm and welcoming. I love this Starbucks! It's much larger than most, although it has a high school across the street, and much of the time there are no seats due to students studying in the afternoon. This is nicer, large Starbucks in an upscale neighborhood. In addition to normal Starbucks stuff (like your Venti half white mocha, half cafe vanilla, ez ice, with 2 shots pour appigato style-over the top-with whipped cream and caramel drizzle frappachino) they serve wine and small plates after 4pm, like my home town 'bucks in Calabasas.
