There's a sign to use the side door, which you can get a taste of the interior decoration. I ordered almost immediately since there was no line, although there were many patrons already seated and some who had just ordered. While waiting, I sat down at an available table, and noticed that there is also a back patio where you can sit as well. Even though I ordered for takeout, the staff brought my latte over to me. They did forget to bring my carrot cake with it, so I did have to ask for it as I was leaving, but they were apologetic about it. The carrot cake was really good! I found the coconut flakes topping a bit overwhelming, but that could be just because I'm not a huge fan of coconut. There's free street parking: however depending on how busy it is, you may need to find a street to turn on to find it on the opposite side (which happened to me today).

The croissant was my favourite - flaky, buttery, and had just the right amount of pistachio filling. The cappuccino paired nicely with these pastries, though it was pretty standard. While the red velvet cookie was also tasty, I wish it was slightly chewier, but I loved that there was cream cheese frosting in the middle. This is one of those cafes that while the interior decor looks a bit basic (and there's nothing wrong with that in my books!), I think their pastries stand out and make it worth the visit :)

They also sell different locally made items (coffee beans, tea, soap, etc) so I found a specific farm's flavoured honey that I had wanted to purchase. The sandwiches were $14 each and they were just ok. We felt they were very overpriced for what they were - it was just a sandwich with a few things inside, doesn't come with any sides. We paid inside at the counter - it was a bit confusing because they had 2 counters and the one we went to didn't have staff there. We waited a while and someone came though. After we ordered, the machine prompted to tip (min amount was 18%, or there was option to skip). We tipped the 18% as we were planning to eat on their picnic table outside and they said they'd bring the food out to us. After tax and tip, everything was around $45. The food took very long to arrive though. Had to wait at least 15 mins and then to find that the sandwiches were not that substantial. And we left still hungry. The plus side is that while we were waiting for our food, there was stuff to check out such as their little fruit and veggie market, and their gift shop. All in all, a cute place! For us, food was meh and overpriced, but you definitely get an amazing ambiance. If I come back I don't think i would order the food again, but probably just some drinks to enjoy the outdoor space and soak in the nature.

While there is very limited high top seating inside the bakery itself, there are plenty of tables inside the condo lobby just outside the bakery entrance. Service wasn't standout, but that's not a deal breaker in this case. I definitely recommend stopping by to pick up their baked goods. You could probably skip on the coffee - it was good, but not the star in my opinion. I treated myself to a blueberry custard tart & flaky pain au chocolat - both were incredibly delicious and I can't wait to come back to try more!
