This is one of my favourite brunch spot. Conveniently located next to No Frills. We tried pulled pork egg benny and chicken & waffle along with the tiramisu waffles for dessert. Chicken was so crispy, and no wonder the pulled pork egg benny is so popular :) All staff were so friendly and the serving was relatively fast compared to the crowd (it was fully packed at 2pm on Sunday) Wish it was closer to my place, so I can visit more often!

This place made super cute looking food and drinks but the taste of the food was mediocre at best. I got the avocado salsa eggs benny and yet it just lacked flavor. The hollandaise was thin and contributed nothing. The other stuff was just there. The potatoes had a great texture but needed to be seasoned. I also got an iced tiramisu latte. The large size is by no means large but the drink looked pretty. Service was young kids. They were all sweet and mostly hung out together at the registers. If you made eye contact they would come to your table but otherwise left you alone. Payment is done at the counter - which my friend and I figured out after sitting for a while and noting no one came to offer anything including the checks. Basically this place looks good for the gram but lacks substance to back it up.

This is a new brunch spot I found on IG. It's located north of Yonge and Stouffville road in Richmond Hill. I made reservations for Mother's Day. It was super busy. The place is quaint, clean and the service is good - friendly staff. The food is pretty good nothing that really stands out. The tiramisu latte was mediocre (not much taste to it). We ordered the Vienna coffee but it didn't come with the Casper looking character on top. My brother said the drink was good. The creme brulee drink was good (I heard). The chicken waffle was the best of all the dishes we orders. The meat was juicy. I brought it to work the next day and the meat was still juicy. The pulled pork was good. The chicken sandwich was huge. The chicken looked like the one from the chicken waffle (wish they gave more fries - portion was small). Overall it was a decent spot. Clean, friendly staff a good option in the area.

Cute little spot tucked away in a plaza with some Asian fusion dishes. Open 9-4pm daily selling a great brunch and lunch menu with both sweet and Savoury dishes to satisfy everyone. We got there at 9 and place filled up quite quickly. Weekends are busy. So definitely try for the weekdays and they have weekly specials too.

Had brunch at Sunlit Town up in Richmond Hill, and it was a solid experience! Portions were generous, prices were reasonable, and there's plenty of free parking. The seating was cozy. The place was surprisingly busy on a Friday afternoon. Breakfast for lunch/dinner seems to be a popular move! My favourite was the pulled pork eggs benedict -- super flavourful and satisfying. The drinks were crafted with care and tasted great overall, though the strawberry matcha was a bit of a miss for me, since the jam sank to the bottom and wouldn't mix in, even after a good stir. The fried chicken burger was absolutely gigantic!

Another small brunch spot located in Oak Ridges, serving up classic brunch favourites like pancakes, eggs benny, full English brekkies, and brekkie sandwiches. The food was lovely, as was the service! I opted for the smoked salmon eggs benny - a classic done well. My friend was sucked in by the chicken & waffles on the menu, which was incredibly filling and well-seasoned. I couldn't leave without trying their coffee, so based on the owner's recommendation, I opted for an iced cream brule latte. It tasted alright and wasn't too sweet, but it didn't wow me for the price.

sunlit town is a unique and delicious brunch spot known for its creative menu and inviting atmosphere! whether you're in the mood for something savoury like the grilled chicken eggs benny or something sweet like the tiramisu cream waffles or french toast, there's something for everyone. their specialty drinks are just as impressive; the crème brûlée latte has the perfect balance of caramelized sweetness and creamy richness, while the tiramisu latte captures the classic dessert with notes of espresso, cocoa, and creamy mascarpone. smooth, indulgent, and just the right amount of sweet, they're the perfect pairing for a comforting meal. definitely check this spot out next time you're in the mood for a great brunch!

They all include a chef's salad, miso soup, rice, a choice of appetizer, and a choice of dessert. The least expensive combo includes chicken, pork belly, sausage, and vegetables, while the other two combos includes more premium choices, like Toro beef and seafood. These are all cooked on the grill at your table. The portions were more than enough to satisfy us and we barely finished our meal. The seafood and vegetables were all fresh, and the marinated meats were very tasty, despite our less than stellar cooking skills. The thinly sliced meats cook very quickly! The restaurant has a nice ambiance, clean and inviting, despite being quite busy when we went. The service was friendly and efficient, with food arriving quickly, and empty dishes cleared promptly. In addition to these great value lunch specials, they also offer AYCE options. Check them out!

Older lady with glasses was rude completely rude. Said don't tell the number but the item. Would not really explain anything. Then asked what do you take said cash or card would have a charge so I gave cash after she told me. She was huffing and puffing not pleased after she punched in the terminal which I didn't use. Also paying cash, I didn't knowing if there would be change. Nothing was communicated, eg how long the wait was etc. There was also no one in the store at that time. it's not like I was slowing them down or making people wait. Zero customer service. I mentioned I have not been there before and I don't know the menu. This lady has zero customer service and the food no matter how good it was won't taste good because of bad customer service. I said my Chinese is also not that great either. The food itself a whole box of rice maybe 3 peices of broccoli and some general tao chicken and extra sauce. Meat was piled on top of pile heaping amount or rice since looked like it was more than there actually was. However after interaction like that doesn't matter food won't taste good. It was not only me this happened to. The people that after me that ordered she was rude too. Telling the man to sit down in a rude tone and when he was ordering his bbq pork lunch box. And when he was not decisive was rude and snappy to them In the store staff was pretty quiet not really talk to each other staff didn't seem particularly engaged or chatty with each other. It was a rather odd silence in the store just a bunch of kitchen noise but not much communication between staff. I will never come back again. I can get bbq pork lunchbox for 6 or 7 $ tax in in Scarborough. Don't need to come here to ruin your appetite for 10$. You all have been warned about this place.

Ordered two boxed rice with two selections of meats per box. We ordered one with BBQ pork and roasted duck. The other with soya chicken and roasted pork. Was alright but we've had better elsewhere. This place, not enough soya sauce in the rice and we were not provided with any ginger/onion for the soya chicken. Might go back at a future date to try their lunch specials. Location-wise, it can be a b*tch to get in and out of this place. It's just south of the train tracks on Markham Rd/Highway 48...North of Bullock Dr.
