I didn't realize the lid wasn't completely on and when I picked it up, my entire grande frapp spilled out all over my car. I was so looking forward to it; a pre-Mothers Day treat. After cleaning up the mess, I went back to get another one. I told Johnny the story, not expecting anything but sympathy. He remembered my daughter and our orders, so knew I was telling the truth. So he comped it! Then made me the best frappucuino I've ever had (Caramel Ribbon Crunch w/ whip and a mocha drizzle). Thanks again, Johnny! The manager is constantly allowing her staff to lollygag on needless affairs while people wait to order or she runs in the back to avoid to taking orders herself. There is one batista who constantly speaks in a low voice and is rude didn't ask if I wanted cream cheese, or butter on my bagel and the manager came up and handed me the bagel and said "We usually charge for that" and I I said "yes, and normally I'm asked and you charge me." And she retorted with "yeah it's been hectic here" Do Better and don't be confrontational when your staff doesn't do their job and defensive. Oh my GOD, this place is SO good! They always get my order right, and it always tastes delicious. I do also love the vibe, such a cozy little area! I walk in there and you always see at least a few people on their computers doing work, and for some reason, it just makes it feel so welcoming and safe. And the baristas? So kind! It has been a little over a week since the continued disturbances from Starbucks finally reached a point of resolution with neighboring residents. I spoke directly with the manager, and she was extremely professional and apologetic for the issues we were experiencing. She explained all the steps she was going through to resolve the noisy delivery schedules as soon as possible, and I am super happy to report that she followed through with everything! There haven't been any more deliveries at odd hours waking people up. Thank you Starbucks for working with the community to find a solution for everyone! I like this Starbucks. Upon entering, the first thing I noticed was the dome shape of the ceiling. It lets a light in and is cool to look at. There's plenty of seating inside, which is why I chose this instead of Urban coffee lounge across the street which was super busy. I really, really don't want to like Starbucks, but hey, I had a gift card I needed to spend, and Pumpkin Spice Latte season is upon us. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and there was plenty of seating. The pumpkin scone wasn't very scone-ish though, it was much more like a pumpkin cake with frosting on top. The coffees were okay, but I'm not a huge fan of the Starbucks coffees, since I feel like places like Urban Coffee Lounge across the street do a better variety and have better roasts. But, it was still a good cup. Plus, PSL! The place is freezing though! The AC in the open area with the couches was nuts and we actually needed our hoodies to stay inside. This is a Starbucks just like many other Starbucks locations... It tends to be quite busy on the weekends, but the line doesn't get TOO horrible and the barista's are nice. I imagine the coffee is generally what you'd expect from Starbucks, but I don't know because I've only gotten hot chocolate here. One time they accidentally gave us a regular old fashioned doughnut instead of the chocolate kind, but exchanged it for the "right" one without any issue. (The friend I was with cared about it being the chocolate kind.) Best part? It has been the most convenient place I've found when searching for a restroom in the area. The ones at the park near-by are still closed for Winter.... and yes, I am generally good about actually BUYING something when I stop by here for that purpose. read more

It's your standard Starbucks here! One of the nice features though is the small semi-private room off to one side that is available to reserve free of charge during normal business hours. Aside from that everything is pretty standard here, seating is somewhat limited and the baristas are the normal Starbucks kind. We always enjoy picking up a Starbucks here and then walking down and around Juanita Beach Park. It makes for a nice 30 minute relaxing time, especially on a sunny day. read more

My experience here has always been a positive one. Other locations have the issues posted by other yelpers in terms of service. That hasn't happened here for me thankfully. A few days ago I made a mobile mistake of ordering to the wrong Kirkland location. They offered me a refund so I could order there. I called the other place to let them know. Another plus here that I don't see elsewhere are the "benches" along the windows. There's already a sizable amount of seating area but it's nice to also have a place to park while waiting for my mobile order. Automatic FREE WiFi also a plus! read more

So sad to see this store remodel. They took away a meeting room my condo board used and the new style doesn't make any sense. It's like they ran out of money half way through the remodel. There are these long counters, one of which appears to have had its top cut too short, exposing sharp metal corners. The wood around the bar is still the old wood, chipped and stained a different color from the cheap looking stick furniture they brought in. Come in Starbucks. I know you're better than this. This was my first experience coming to a Starbucks that offers wine! WOW! So I checked out their "Starbucks Evening" menu, which is in effect after 4pm each day. Then they serve wine and small food dishes (the menu looked pretty darn good! One could seriously make a meal of the offerings). Again, only available after 4pm, so I was unable to try the wines and foods. That said, this is definitely a super-popular spot, as it was jam-packed when I arrived the other day. The line was out the door but at least it kept moving. I snatched a seat the nanosecond it became vacant. It was survival of the fittest here! (Because it was raining, no one was opting to sit outside, despite the fact there is an ample outdoor eating area). The counter gals and guys were friendly and were able to stay pleasant despite the ever-growing line of customers, and they worked very efficiently as a team. Others have noted that the parking in this area leaves much to be desired. That is true. I'll be back, for sure - but at an off-time! read more

Too bad that they did the remodeling recently. They took away all the larger tables/chairs and replaced the space with very tiny around tables that barely could hold even a laptop computer and limited seating with a very strange layout. You can definitely tell that they are trying to limit seating and discourage people from staying in the store. It is so sad to see that, since I always came here before but now I feel that Urban is the better choice. Service is really good though. read more

I live in the village and would frequent this location often but I will not step foot into this store again. Some of the employees that work here need a training course on customer service. This Starbucks makes a mistake every.single.time I come here. Every time I say "I'm going to write a review" and never do until today. They aren't efficient at all. It's a busy store and only one is working on the bar. Is there a manager that works here? Is there a shift lead? I feel as if it's all new people working here to see if they like working in this industry. Just today, I ordered a Iced Grande Salted Caramel Cold Brew. And the one that took my order, repeated back what I wanted and paid for. Took 15 minutes to get my drink, and it WAS THE WRONG ONE! And then it's too busy to have them make a new one. I always say something like, "is this the ..." and they say "no that's not it, sorry." So I have to decide to wait for a new drink for 15 more minutes (and no one should be waiting a half hour for a drink) or just take what they gave me. I wish this review would make a big impact on how this Starbucks runs their store. But Starbucks is too large of a company now to care about each and every customer issue. Get new management here, Starbucks! My sister works for this company and she knows this is a poorly ran store. It's a shame it's so close to me house. I regret spending $5.45 here today. read more

I happened upon this starbucks when I decided that I was totally done with the sbux up the road on 100th (I will never choose the convenience of a drive-thru over extremely long wait-times, poorly made drinks and a dirty store again). But I digress... I don't usually write reviews on mega-chains like Starbucks but this branch deserves a shout out! The baristas here are among the friendliest I've encountered and while it has a tendency to get pretty packed in the mornings, they always seem to have enough staff on hand and can quickly move people through. The location itself is also very appealing to the eye and there is plenty of space to grab a seat for a coffee date or a quick study session, especially in the turret structure in the corner of the store! In the morning, parking is a breeze but I imagine at nights and on weekends with all the other business open it might get a little cramped. Basically, I go here because I've never been given a poorly made cup, I've never had to wonder if my drink was made with soy or not, and I've never encountered an employee with a bad attitude. read more

I signed up for Yelp just to leave a review on this place. I have been to this location twice now, as it is conveniently located down the street from my son's childcare. Both times I was helped by the same barista. Both times I was asked my name. Both times I was addressed by name, with a smile, and a request for my return before leaving. I work in the luxury hospitality industry, and I receive the customer service and attention to detail here at this Starbucks that I would typically expect at one of our five star resorts. I wish I could give this a good review. And maybe as a previous Shift Supervisor I'm being too critical, but damn. I've not yet had a positive experience in this store in the year+ I've been coming 9/10 my drink is wrong. When we order for our office, half of the drinks are wrong and when I call to complain or mention hey I think your espresso machine is bad because my latte looks like steamed milk and so do all the other espresso beverages, nothing has been done instead once I was told "so sorry to hear this, because we strive for perfection," and another time they told me to bring my drink back. So I did. To which a barista told me she didn't make the drink earlier she remembers and tried to accuse me of getting it at another store. All I wanted was the coconut milk in my Pink drink, of which it's supposed to come with! She then saw the mobile order sticker and realized I did in fact get my drink there and remade it in a horrible manner and attitude slamming my cup down. I am beyond understanding in knowing how Starbucks cuts labor and how stressful it can be back there but it's just unacceptable. Today it took me 15 minutes to get my mobile order in a almost dead store and the barista told me so sorry it's been slammed. It's so ridiculous how people come to Starbucks to work all day... this location accommodates these people by offering them a full conference room to hold meeting! I only visit this Starbucks when I'm at my sisters in the apartment complex next store. So I've been here 4 times in the span of about 3 months. Every single visit the line is crazy long, there are 4-5 baristas behind the bar staring at each other. Seems like 1 person is taking orders and that same person is making drinks. Every single visit my drink was wrong. I literally order and iced coffee with cream and it came out hot...or it never came out and i had to ask twice for it. Just run poorly. Seems like baristas aren't trained. Starbucks is known for fast service, i should have to wait in line for 15 minutes and then another 15 minutes to get my drinks. Thank goodness their are other coffee spots in this area. I will be visiting those in the future. read more

Stopped by this place because I had to wait an hour for a walk-in visit to Sole Relax across the street. It wasn't as busy during my visit so I had no trouble waiting too long to get my order. The employees were pretty friendly too. The space itself is pretty standard. There are lots of places to work and outlets everywhere. A bit underwhelming compared to other Starbucks though, in terms of how lively it was on a Saturday afternoon. read more

Just came here for coffee with my friend who has a service dog and Michelle the barista there was super rude! Dear dog owners, dog lovers, and special needs people, think twice before marching into this Starbucks and giving them your business. My friend even showed the service dog card to Michelle the barista there but he was blatantly rude. The dog was sitting with me on the window seal and was a hypoallergenic dog that was obedient and quite but this man even after being showed the dog was a registered service dog had an attitude. When my friend confronted the barista he said he didn't care, he doesn't like dogs and doesn't care if it was a service dog or not, he doesn't ever want to see that dog there again! Not sure who the training manager of this barista person is but clearly they failed to teach this employee customer service and service dog protocol. You would think that after the last time Starbucks was sued, the manager would be better about informing employees on protocol, but clearly Starbucks didn't learn a lesson. Again, let me remind you readers, the dog was quite, friendly and obedient, this barista just had issues and lacked training hence his insanity! Tip: there are plenty of coffee lounges around this place which are nicer and their coffee tastes better! I used to be a Starbucks loyalist, but after this experience, I'm gonna try my best to refrain from going here. I may just be a small fish in their big pond, but I'll drive to another Starbucks or the other coffee places around this and avoid this one at all costs! The asymmetric design is both cozy and spacious, and its placement away from the main street gives it more of a local hangout than corporate chain feel. Our in-laws live near here, and whenever we're in town, we always stop here at least once. I met a client here that had a home for sale near Juanita Bay. The layout was very well done and even had a little private area behind some shelves. Their space planner needs to be applauded. Although I did not use my Starbucks app to pay for my purchases, I noticed that shortly after both times I was there, I received notice from Google to change my password. I also have a security scanner on my phone and both times, it indicated that my security for my phone may have been compromised and it gave it the location of Starbucks Kirkland. Since that was the only one I was at in Kirkland, I suspect there is a hacker that is there. So BEWARE!!! Turn your phones off when you enter!!! I love the store but having my phone scanned twice at that store really deters me from going in there again. read more

My Starbucks, the one I always go to, is in Kenmore and I love it. Large, fireplace, super nice baristas. But this Starbucks is now my second favorite. It is also large, with lots of comfortable seating, and an interesting floor plan. Plus the location, right across from Juanita Beach is ideal. In addition the shopping center that houses this 'bucks is fun to walk around. Since I always get drip coffee and add cream and sugar (it tastes exactly the same at every Starbucks) I am not sure how their mocha's or latte's are here. But let's just assume they are good. Or you can read the other reviews for that. But you should know when I walked in to this location I said "Wow, this is a really cool Starbucks. Big, I like it a lot. " read more

As I was waiting in line, the woman in front of me asked for a mint mocha. She was then told it was a cold drink. The woman asked if they could make it hot and the cashier said no. I chimed in at this point and said "excuse me, I have been a barista, can you tell me why you can't make the mocha hot? You should be able to just loose the ice and add hot milk..." She looked at me real dumb and said "we just can't." I feel like as the barista, you should probably have an actual explanation...But then it was my turn in line and I was only getting a bottle of water and she did my entire transaction without saying a single word to me.......so much for customer service...... read more

At the counter and behind it, it's just your usual Starbuck's. Staff is friendly and super-efficient. Drinks are standard Starbuck's fare. On the other side of the counter, it's different. The largest section of the establishment is a tall, domed area that feels cold and echo-y. Half of the patrons coming into the restaurant must pass through this domed area (the other half can come through a side door), so wind is typically blowing into the area. In general, it's not a cozy place where you'd like to spend hours writing and reading and ordering more drinks. At some point, Starbuck's needs to re-imagine this space or maybe get another space within Juanita Village. read more
