We took our car in for service and took a walk to get some coffee. We walked in and the settings pretty simple. I took a look at the pastry case. I saw they had the sea with chocolate croissants, which I know my husband love so we ordered one to share along with a breakfast burrito My husband had a coffee and I ordered the Cafe Sin Olla and grabbed a seat. This probably would be a four hour view had not been for the Cafe Sin Olla. Oh my goodness it was so delicious little bit of spice a little bit of sweet and just smooth. I love a cafe de Olla however this was an excellent spin on this drink. Kind of like a latte de olla. YUM We thoroughly enjoyed the Sea Wolf croissant, which is no surprise. The breakfast burrito was also quite tasty although I would have like some salsa or Tapatio to go with it. I didn't ask. I didn't put a lot of time looking so it could've been there. I missed it. Coffee at this place is something special. It is really special in appearance with the latte art. Taste of coffee is amazing. Something really unique. We had an ube latte however, the ube flavor was not strong. Not sure if they just put in food color to duplicate the ube color but lacks in taste. Mocha however was really good You order from the counter and you are called once your order is ready. We did not eat as we just had a big meal. Really cozy nice place to chat or do some work. I've been to this wonderful coffee shop before and we came back to try it again. We were a group of 5. We order 3 lattes, 2 of which are Ube. My wife and I shared a glass of fresh orange juice. We didn't order pastries, because we just wanted coffee and they were stellar. Not only did they taste good, but the latte art on the foam was beautiful.! The service was quick and efficient. Here's the thing about 203 Coffee...the location is prime and the coffee is good. But - seating is tough (it's very loud and not many options) and the prices are ridiculous. I order a lavender matcha latte and before tip it costs almost $8. The coffee is good but it's hard to stomach the price. If you are in a pinch and looking for a one-off good coffee, sure this will work. But I personally can't justify this a regular "go to" at this price. read more

Came here for a quick coffee and to work a bit during the day. The service is pretty fast which I appreciate and the inside of the cafe has plenty of seating so it was easy to find a place to work. I got the Madagascar vanilla latte and it was pretty good, nothing substantially different than what you might find at a similar small local coffee shop. read more

203 is located in the Totem Lake shopping area and is a solid spot to grab a drink and a seat. I will say unfortunately, I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't speak to those drinks. I have gotten the hojicha latte multiple times (hot and iced) and it's very solid - nice roasted, nutty flavor without being too bitter. Seating wise, it can get a little crowded on the weekends, but even on weekday afternoons I'd say they are at 60%+ capacity. Parking is shared across some large outdoor lots and buildings. read more

I always enjoy a little Tête-à-tête at 203, so most of the time the place is very chill and you can find a table easily, buuuuut it has gotten a little more popular and might have a little more difficulty there, luckily the weather is getting a little warmer and you can find a few chairs outside. The coffee's are always great, not too acidic which is what I prefer, the pastries are hit or miss, the spinach and cheese pastry is very yummy as is the chocolate cornetto, the banana bread was a complete miss from me and I do wish they would add more pastry option or have a larger quantity of what they already carry as the case is mostly empty most times we stop by. read more

Came here with my client to have sort of a debriefing session and was curious about this place. I pass it several times a week and am always curious about non chain coffee places that have fancy names. I got an iced vanilla latte, but here at 203 it's not just a vanilla latte, it's a Madagascar vanilla latte so it's gotta be good right? nope. I actually found it to be below average. This is one of my go-to's when getting specialty coffee and I could hardly taste anything really. I got my client a regular drip coffee and together it all was almost $10. I see more and more these days people consider coffee shops are a waste of money, but if what you're actually getting is good, that's different. Here I can't say it was worth it. Beyond this, the vibe isn't like a coffee shop. I love future funk and City pop, K-pop, music I do, but not really when it's blaring in a coffee shop in the middle of the afternoon. I think overall because Totem Lake beyond being a shopping center, it's a hangout for a younger crowd as are the staff here. I think as far as coffee and vibes, you could do better. read more

If you're in the Totem Lake shopping area, this is one of the only coffee shops in the vicinity. I came in on a Saturday morning and it was pretty packed. If you would rather not wait in line, then it is nice that you can also place your order online. They offer an extensive menu of coffee and teas, with a good variety of pastries to choose from in the pastry shelf. I had a dirty chai latte and it tasted just okay. I did notice that their syrups are all housemade and thought that was pretty awesome. Coffee was good, although it was not something that wow'ed me. I met a friend here on a busy Thursday morning shortly after the local power outage. It was jam-packed with lots of people using wifi with their orders. It's a bit confusing where to line up but you'll figure it out. They were basically out of just about all their food options by 11am. I got an iced oat milk latte and was pleased that they had Irish creme flavoring to add. Pretty standard 2024 coffee prices. Friendly service and didn't have to wait too long given how busy it was. All the inside tables were snagged when we arrived but a table for two freed up right after I got my drink. It's clean and cozy inside for chilling with some java. There's also a couch and fire just outside the front doors for chilly fall days. Certainly worthy of a return visit if strolling through the area again. read more

After having a nice lunch in the village, I wanted to have coffee/tea with my sister and from what I could find, this was the only coffee shop in the village. I was very disappointed that when we walked in, there was literally nowhere for two people to sit together because Almost every seat was taken. And not just with people visiting with one another, but with people on their laptops and you never know how long those people are gonna stay. And because it was pretty cold outside, we weren't gonna get drinks to go and sit outside. So this company lost business because they allow for too many people to sit and be on their laptops for who knows how long. . I know many businesses allow this but I think some of them need to rethink how they run their model because it's getting really hard for people like me that wanna just sit and have coffee with another person and leave allowing the business to have quicker turnover and more business, to just go and have coffee Maybe only allow a certain percentage of the seats to be used by people parking with their laptops and then maybe only allow those people to stay for a certain amount of time? I don't know, it's not my problem to solve but it's definitely becoming a problem in the coffee shop world that somebody needs to address We went there around 2:00 or 2:30 on a Monday. So if you decide to go, just know that there's a high likelihood that you might not be able to find a place to sit because it's the only coffee place in the village and that's where people are gonna park with their laptops ... but I do think Mercury coffee is opening soon and is also in the village. So that might be an option The other thing that was a dealbreaker for me about this place, is that there is a completely open, wide direct walkway from the door to where you order drinks. We walked half that distance, stopped and looked around 2-3 times since I was sure there had to be two chairs together somewhere... and even though there were no customers ordering or in line, none of the employees acknowledged that we were there. So between all the people that were parked on their laptops and the business' lack of recognizing that two humans had walked into their business, just standing there, looking around trying to find a spot, it's a dealbreaker for me Good luck. Nothing bad or great to say about this place. It is a very clean modern cafe that serves pastries and trendy drinks. One interesting thing I noticed is that there were several boxes that had "Zoka coffee" written on them (just sitting on the floor). So I looked up 203 and Zoka and it turns out the two are related! I wonder if they are just selling Zoka beans at this new cafe though under a different name. The location is great and service was okay. The price was just okay too. Not outrageously expensive but not cheap. No need to go out of your way to try this but if you're in the area, I do recommend this cafe. Lots of seating available but fill up fast. read more
