Service: 2/5 Everything else: It's Starbucks. ----- I'm not home often, but all of the great coffee shops in Little Rock are really far from West Little Rock. Sometimes I just want a nearby place to sit down and crank out some work. This Starbucks is pretty standard, as most chain locations are. There is an ample amount of seating and outlets in this place, which is good. A lot of people like to have meetings here, so it can be a little loud sometimes. But the worst part is the service!! Some other reviews have said this, but I felt really uncomfortable working and having coffee at this place. The employees are kind of hit or miss, some really friendly and sweet (they put them on the drive through lane apparently) but the cashier acted like my desire for coffee was the worst thing that happened to her that morning. :( read more

Great coffee and good service. Typically very fast after I order unless they're exceptionally busy, though I always go into the store.

The whole place smells like toilets and the woman staff member seemed to be barely suppressing rage towards all the customers. She must be overworked. Someone give her a day or week or month off, please! Maybe she needs to get out of the toilet smell for a while. Poor girl. There's a nice sofa and four comfy chairs at this location so it's too bad about the smell. Sitting outside under umbrellas was nice, though, because it was quiet (no one else was out there, since it's 100 degrees out today.) There's a great view of neighboring fields on a hill, and birds were singing. read more

We went inside for service, and we waited quite a while for our drinks, but they were made correctly. We were in need of a snack, and the pumpkin bread was moist and delicious. Perhaps it was an off day, but the staff at this location are some of the least friendly Starbucks employees I've ever encountered. Mind you, they're not rude, they're just not friendly. Overall, I'd go back, but this wouldn't be the location I would frequent if I lived here. read more

Beverages here are delicious but the service is horrible. This store must be understaffed in the mornings since it takes forever to fill an order and then the order is not always correct. Actually that is a negative one star. A 45 minute wait. One person was making drinks. Two more werent doing much at all. 45 min later one of our drinks came. No ice...whipped cream wilting and it looked like they had taken it out of the garbage. I demanded our money back esp since the other two drinks likely were another hour away. Went into this coffee shop to study and get a drink. There was NO ONE in line inside and few cars outside and 3 employees avoiding eye contact with me. I stood at the register for a solid 5 mins just watching them piddle around. I even scanned my drink (can of sparkling water) and tried to do it myself. It was not until I took the drink (unopened) back to my seat that someone walked by the register and noticed something on it. The lady proceed to walk over to my table and ask me if I needed to buy something. While at the register she apologies and tells my they are short staffed. I appreciate the apology (only reason for 2 stars) but anyone could have acknowledged me prior to me going back to my seat. All together an unpleasant experience. read more

Over crowded and typical BURNT coffee. I leave here with such an acidic taste in my mouth that it takes me a day to recover. Judge a coffee shop by the Americano. If you can drink the whole thing even when it gets cold without cream and sweetener, then you know the beans were roasted correctly. Keep looking, when you try to do that at Starbucks you'll find yourself with a sour face and an upset stomach. Hint: Look nearby in the promenade at Chenal. read more

Waited in line for 30+ minutes, just like others have said. I'm sure the only reason people are even looking at reviews for this Starbucks in the first place is to see if their experience matches the service they just received. That was my experience, at least. I was alarmed that I sat for 30 minutes in a drive thru coffee shop, thinking my experience must be unique. As it turns out, my experience is not unique at all. If you are reading this and had a similar experience, I'm sorry that you, too, wasted a ridiculous amount of time of your life in a Starbucks drive thru. I've called and complained and they said it happens all the time- especially on weekends. If this is an ongoing issue, how about addressing it and fixing the problem? This is, by far, the worst experience I have ever had a Starbucks and will most certainly never be returning until new management is in place, or until this problem is resolved. If anyone wants a great Starbucks with great customer service, the one off Cantrell and Riverfront is always very efficient and very friendly. read more

This Starbucks has terrible service. When I went in there were 5 people --5!!--behind the smallish counter!--and no one was preparing orders. I was the only person ordering. I am here almost every day. This place has a phenomenal crew, no matter what time of day or night. And despite coming here this often, the chances of them getting something wrong that I order (and I do change up quite often) are so marginally small that it's about one in one hundred orders. They are nice, kind, polite, and treat me like family. This is why I come here almost every day. I would name someone to applaud, but picking one out of a whole crew that does great would be a dishonor to the rest. I love this place. I really love this location but I had lost my debit card and called. The girl told me it was in the safe and to call back to because there was no manager there. So I called back about an hour later and they tell me it's not there. They took my number down and said they'd give me a call back and let me know what was going on. I have had several bad experiences here all related to personnel. I don't know if they don't have enough people if the people don't retain their training or if they have the wrong people. It is very frustrating to not be knowledged when you walk into a store much less, be there for five minutes while employees talk to each other wait on people in the drive-in window and never even acknowledge that you're there. I'm not a complainer nor am I a customer that expects too much and gets impatient easily, however.... I've visited this Starbucks many times because I live so close, and they are consistently aweful. They get my order wrong at least 50% of the time, and I've been caught in a short drive-thru line for over 20 minutes on multiple occasions. Not only that, but they actually charged me MORE when I sat in the line for 30 minutes, they got my order wrong, and I came back through for the order I put in the first time.
