My app was not showing my birthday reward, but I had my ID to show them proof and they said they cannot honor it so I was like can I talk to a manager and the manager was giving me all these problems didn't want to see my ID for approve anything when I got my drink it tasted spoiled read more

Call ahead about a half hour before you want your order. Staff is very slow and can only focus on one thing at a time. They do acknowledge your there but then ignore you to do other things. Wait on the customer, take their money then continue with your work. Money walks if you don't take care of the customer. There are plenty of other coffee shops around that want your business. Starbucks are pretty standard and consistent with the products offered and quality of product. This location stands out however has been incredibly SLOW. I've had this issue in the past and I've always kept giving them another chance. At my most recent visit to the drive-through I waited 30 minutes to get a cold brew coffee. The biggest problem is that once you're in line, you're trapped. At least at the Greenway Station location you can get out of line at any time. During this trip cars were honking, people were frustrated, and I was regretting ever wanting coffee. employee who handed me my drink was pleasant and my order was correct... however, no apology or explanation for the ridiculously long wait. You know, I really come to Starbucks too often for my own good and most of the time, I'm not buying something for myself, like in this instance, I bought a cold brew for my boyfriend. Which is fine, because he likes caffeinated drinks more than I do. (I'm trying to get him to sign up for a Starbucks rewards but I shall see how successful I'll be, that way he can get a free drink for signing up and a free drink on his birthday which just passed recently.) All in all, this Starbucks is pretty standard, drinks are made well unless you customized it to the extent that it may be a challenge for it to be made. My only other concern is the cleanliness inside the store can get quite messy, and the trash doesn't get clean out as much as it should. I understand the store can get busy at times, but that just means more staff is necessary in order for it to be adequately cleaned regularly. Other than that, I'd say, the remodel on the store was also interesting but having the drive through can definitely come in handy when we don't want to have to walk into the store in order to pick it up a mobile drink order. So with that in mind, be sure to just order your drink in advance using the mobile app and then just pick it up inside or via the drive through. read more

Your average Starbucks with the drive-thru. This location is very very busy. Theres cars on drive-thru all day throughout. Workers here are nice but they can be slow at times fulfilling so many other orders. What I really like about this location is that they have 2 large tables. That means theres seats available almost every time I go in. Theres also 4-5 smaller tables available and 2 comfy sofa seats. Honestly speaking, its not the cleaniest. Its pretty filthy. Trash on the floor and trashcans are always full and flies flying...its pretty bad. One day I stayed here for almost 7 hours and I was freezing to death. I know many other SB locations are cold too but wow, this one was literally killing me! I noticed my drinks cost a bit more than what I paid in California by 5-10 cents for a Grande Iced Green Tea for example. Dont know why? Tax is definitely cheaper here in WI than CA so I dont know whats making it cost more. Anywho, drinks are made well with the friendly staff, I will be frequenting as I have been everytime I come to Madison. This is the only location thats close from Boyfriend's place, so I got no choice. By the way, 2 restrooms are available! read more

Not an out of the ordinary customer service experience. Not cold, but certainly indifferent. No eye contact made directly to me, but of the 3 others standing and awaiting their product. One and all received a vocal notification, consisting of merely a name. In my case mispronounced. Complete barebones efficiency. Machine. The din of the room, primarily from the business side of the service counter made this even more evident. The line of cars outside is why I wandered inside, hoping for a teensy bit of proof of life inside. I found none. My least enjoyable Starbucks experience in as long as I can remember. Being among the waning few that have the vaguest memories of both my first visits to any Starbucks, but more significantly, the brief time when my first visit was to the store that is world famous as the one it all started at some 40 years back. I'm pretty sure, though it's unlikely a real memory, that the baristas at that day and age, and that store were human. I'm surprised this location is still running. There's no order ahead, the lobby is closed, and the wait time is a minimum of an hour. The worst part is once you're in line to order and realize it'll be an hour you're stuck and can't get out of line. Reading reviews it's crazy to think this location has been operating this way for at least 3 years. Something needs to be fixed or this location needs to be shut down. By far the worst Starbucks! Even when ordering ahead on the app, you're waiting 45 mins to an hour. Tonight around 4:15pm, I waited in line 'till 4:45 only to realize they closed early? There was still about 7+ cars behind me waiting. I sat at the speaker for about 5-7 mins, said "Hello" a couple times, finally went to the window and no one was there, lights were off. The window had a sign that said they close at 5, it wasn't even 5 yet, and I was in that line since 4:15. Not to expose myself, but I go to Starbucks a lot. This location always gets my order right, and the baristas are very friendly, but I feel like I can only give 3 stars because of the wait times - particularly the drive thru. Every single visit I've had to this location, the drive-thru wait has been at least 25 minutes or more. I think my personal record is 40 minutes (on a Sunday afternoon). I'm not sure what it is about this location that causes it to take so long. I'm a basic white girl, so I'll keep coming here! But be warned, it probably won't be quick. read more

Every time I come to this Starbucks they always make my drink wrong. When I told the employee it didn't taste like the like how every other Starbucks I have gotten this drink at, the employee was very snappy with me and said she made it the way I told her which was not true. This has got to be one of the most poorly run Starbucks. They are in a very busy location due to the number of businesses nearby plus the highschool. You would expect they'd have this down to a science. You would be wrong though. Everytime I stop in there are at least 5-7 people standing around waiting for drinks. I've waited close to 15 min for my order once. Additionally the location is horrible because of the parking lot and drive through set up. Avoid! Adding a drive thru or second order line to a tortoise paced establishment was a mistake. Today it took about 15 minutes in the drive through line (aka the minimum amount of time here) then I got the wrong order. I go inside. Order again after advising of the mistake. Guess what? I'm in my car again to find I've been given another wrong order. I could have made breakfast at home in less than the 30 minutes and $7 I spent today. I was super bummed that this Starbucks was under renovation when I first moved to Madison in the summer. I've only gone a couple times since it was open, but only to the drive-thru. The prices and the drinks are the same as everywhere else. I always get a soy latte, so I'm not too picky as long as I'm caffeinated. I didn't have any issues with drive-thru, other than the slower service on Saturday afternoon. They were nice to my dogs though, so that's good. A huge plus is that they're open at 5:30am. I got a coffee there the other day, and there were two people sitting down next to a sign that said "sitting are closed". One of the people sitting there was clearly there to work because his things were all around him, and he had his laptop open. The worst part was that he wasn't wearing a mask.
