When I got to the window 20 minutes after ordering, the employee asked me what my order was and then seemingly started making it at that time. When I drove away and tried the drink, it wasn't what I requested either, but it tasted good enough and there's no chance I'd wait again. The drive through line and parking lot are pretty tight and hard to maneuver, so good luck getting out once you've committed. Would definitely think twice before repeating this endeavor. read more

I took out dinner from here on a week day. The place was empty. Coconut bowl was the best thing here. Always for a bowl with coconut base. I went for the go coconut bowl. Acai base was good. Every time I have gone the staff was have very nice and the service has been fast. The smoothies are always just the right thickness and the refreshers are good! The place is always clean and well put together. However the parking situation is a bit tricky. It's a single lane to enter the parking lot so you have to be very aware. read more

The smoothies are great, and options are plentiful. The staff always has a smile, no matter who is helping me. They move efficiently and handle customer orders quickly. There is always a steady flow of customers but I have never had to wait longer than 10 minutes to get through the line. The only downside is the location has limited driving and parking space. read more

There is absolutely no reason I should have had to wait nearly 45 minutes to get a smoothie as the first car thru the drive through- the girls working blatantly ignored every patron in the drive through mysteriously mixing smoothies and calmly traipsing around, just to not even get near the window or clarify what's happening.. saw my smoothie being mixed and then just left on the counter for 20 minutes while I'm first in the queue... multiple cars driving off... I should have too. whatever happened today was inexcusable and a waste of every customers time. I wish there were more smoothie places around the Midwest. This one is good, but the hours are horrendous. I'm sure it's not the companies fault; since employment shortages seem to be a huge issue. Smoothie King might be a good option for drive through, but going inside this establishment was definitely a negative experience. The employees were all high schoolers busy talking to each other. When I finally got my order taken, the cashier seemed bothered at me for interrupting her conversation. It felt like a poorly run gas station, rather than an expensive smoothie store. The inside also seemed a bit run down, and certainly not designed to attract customers. Admittedly, the smoothie I got was really big, but it was also really pricey. It was pretty tasty, however! The specific location, while I still need to stop inside... is right on the corner, less than a minute off the beltline. The parking lot is very small, getting in and out could be a challenge if they're busy. It's connected to a FedEx shop. When I visited, there was a delivery truck parked in the exit lane... making it difficult to leave, if you weren't already in the drive-thru lane. I've been to both the Middleton and Fitchburg locations. One thing that I like about the Middleton location is that they have a drive through which is awesome when you are in a hurry or just running errands. If you have never been to a Smoothie King before you must stop and try one of their delicious smoothies. There are so many different kinds to choose from. What I like best about Smoothie King is that they blend their smoothies to perfection. There is nothing worse than a chunky, cant use a straw smoothie, or a watered down, liquid smoothie. Every time I have ordered one it has been blended to the perfect consistency. I would give them a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The biggest reason for not 5 stars is the price. I'd certainly be here with a BOGO coupon, but without that I wince at my purchase. That being said, I'm focused more on the "treat" of this versus seeing the benefits of the add-ins. Came here with coworkers around lunch on a Friday. Took over 45 minutes to get served 3 smoothies. Smoothies were not served in the order they were ordered. A group before us got their entire order before we got 1 smoothie. The last person in my group got fed up and left without ever getting a smoothie as our lunch hour was almost up. Didn't look like anyone older than 16 was at the store managing the place. The chocolate slim and trim gave me diarrhea, probably because the staff weren't following health procedure. This is the only place I can get Keto smoothies. I have to watch my carbs and the Gladiator Smoothies are incredibly low in calories and carbs. Not cheap but worth it for me. Sad that they had to shut down... (temporarily I hope) as I believe the issue is trying to get enough staff. No one wants to work anymore. It shows in google that it's closed till June 16, 2023. So sad it's going to be that long but can't wait to be able to get another smoothie there.. even tho I have to wait for 7 months... hopefully only that long. Please come back! read more

The smoothie here is pretty good. Kinda overpriced though and you can tell it isn't exactly made with fresh fruit. Nevertheless it still tasted pretty good. The order taker messed up my order but was super nice and remade it. Drive through also isn't the fastest. Decent selection though. read more

The employee here was so high that she couldn't even form a sentence. We pulled up to the drive threw and said "hello" and she just groaned into the mic. We were confused and said "hello" again. When we walked in the one person in line was paying for there order. after his order was taken the employee told us he would be with us in a few minutes. He then proceeded to help make grive thru orders because "they were next". once my order was taken it took over 20 minutes to get two smoothies. Only two people working. 30 minutes for two smoothies is way to long. we sat and watched a car pull into the drive thru after we had ordered and watched it leave before they even started our order. There are lots of options for smoothies on the menu! The smoothies are delicious and the menu says how many calories in each size.. I cannot imagine ordering the 40 ounce smoothie, but apparently some people do!? The one complaint I have is that there is not a "build your own" smoothie option to create your own, however, you are able to customize a smoothie on the menu by substituting an ingredient or two. This is the worst experience I have ever had. Went through the drive through to be quick and it took 10 minutes and no movement in the line. I go inside and the cashier is on his phone on Snapchat, he said it would be a 10-15 minute wait for a simple smoothie. A person behind me didn't know what to order and the cashier said we've got time, the people in line are not my problem and I don't care about them waiting. There was only two workers and then 3 people walked in with street clothes on and started to work in the back, didn't wash there hands and no one had a name tag on. Always a big fan of smoothie king, but something about this location is always a hassle. This time in particular, I had two separate people taking my order via the drive-thru which was confusing, and they both seemed annoyed with my order even though I simply asked for no strawberries.
