Starbucks is also starting to serve their dine-in food and drinks in reusable cups and mugs and on plates. There is a tray near the trash where you place these cups and plates when you're finished. I ordered my usual sugar free vanilla iced latte and turkey bacon sandwich. Both were fine, but the attitude and service of the worker taking orders inside was the worst I've ever experienced at any Starbucks. No smile and frankly outwardly rude. He said "what?!" when he apparently didn't understand what food item I was ordering. After I scanned my app there was no thank you, etc. He just stared at me and eventually said "it'll be ready soon." read more

Had mostly good experiences here but first day was a real flop. The worker was super rude and grouchy. The way he spoke and the faces he made were downright offensive. Felt like he was taking out his anger and bad day on us. Put a bad taste in our mouths for our first day visiting. After that, we didn't have to deal with the staff as much and some other barista was super kind and friendly. So, if it were for that one and only bad visit it would go to a 1 star review but since we went here every day, it averaged to a 3 star since other staff members were friendlier. Stopped in with our 3 year old son. Was served be a very impatient cashier. We were kind of she was having a bad day. The shop was nearly empty. Our son was walking around the shop after being in a car for 3 hours. He raised his voice once and the cashier told us "Our policy has changed, if your child is loud they must leave". No warning or ask to try and keep him quiet. We were immediately told to leave. There was one other person in the store. Is this really Starbucks' policy? To ask children to leave? It's hard to believe - given that every single person was a child - and they are all learning how to participate in our communities. Shame on these Starbucks employees. read more

Much to the lament of most New Englanders whose undying allegiance lies towards all things Dunkin', allow me to review this one and lonely Starbucks located on South Willow street right-quick. Let me just get this out of the way right now: this place has a weird entrance. Since the drive thru STARTS at the complete opposite side of the building, you have to ostensibly drive just PAST the Starbucks, take a right on the road that's actually behind it, drive down about a thousand feet, then turn right into what probably looks like a line for the COVID vaccine, because yeah....it's still gonna be long as hell! All this made mobile ordering completely pointless, of course. I could have placed the order on my phone whilst in the drive thru line itself and it wouldn't have made a difference. Oh, but then I realized my mistake a bit too late. Turns out, you CAN walk in and get your order. I just couldn't tell at first because the suite they're in doesn't look quite like other ones I've seen. See, this Starbucks isn't a stand alone location. It's attached inside a plaza along with its dual one-way drive thru lanes going toward the front entrance. Everything about this setup leads the new-coming patron away from entering the building. I mean, I guess I'll know for next time. Assuming I even order from here again. Yeeeaaah...let's discuss the coffee. It had a weird, minty taste to it. And I didn't order anything with mint in it. I only ever get one of two things: the tall white chocolate mocha with an extra shot, or the white mocha Frappuccino (for the hot days). Neither of these should taste of mint. Ever. I also find it incredibly weird that I had to repeat my entire mobile order to the barista in the drive thru. See what I mean about mobile ordering being totally pointless here? A lot of locals will say I should have went to Dunkin' up the street. But since DD's coffee is lame and I'm a diehard Starbucks fan, I'm giving this one the benefit of the doubt and granting them 3 mysteriously minty white chocolate mochas out of 5. chills. my entire body contorted as i clutched my abdomen. shivers rang through me back and forth, up and down, head to toe. my cranium pounded as sweat dripped and fell onto my knees. pain stabbed my gut in a rhythm i can only describe as demonic. i tried so hard not to be loud as everyone was asleep. i felt light headed from all the pain and suffering that i passed out. when i awoke, i thought back to the last thing i had. an iced white mocha. with almond milk. except almond milk has never caused such insane amounts of misery, so it could only be one thing. regular milk. whole milk. lactose. i realize my mistake for not karening up to the barista to make sure that they put almond milk. but even so, a salty barista would have put regular milk just to spite me if i had been a karen. in the moment, when my legs turned numb after being in the loo for hours, i promised myself to never go back to starbucks. but then i asked myself, where would i go? dunkins? not in this economy! so here i am. once again. ordering my iced white mocha. debating whether i should karen up the barista to give me almond milk, or be the strong lass that i am and willingly go through the painful process once more. after all, it builds character- the pain. i think ill come back once my bum has recovered. two stars for now.... read more

They often don't have a dark roast ready to pour. The dark roast at Starbucks is the whole reason to drive 15 mins out of my way.

I've been stopping by the Manchester Starbucks a few times each week for my Starbucks fix. The service since my first review in 2007 has really improved! I've had pretty good, friendly, and quick service on each visit. If there is a line and the primary cashier/barista becomes busy, other friendly baristas will ask the next customer in line, what drink they would like to get started. That's the way service should be to keep the line moving. Since, I usually get just a venti dark roast brewed coffee, the helpful barista has dispensed my coffee and cashed me out at the second register while the primary cashier was still serving the customer before me with a larger order. I can get my "fix" quicker with less waiting, so I'm adding the extra star. read more

Stopped in to order a double shot espresso Machiatto with Half n' Half - dry. It was about 5:00 pm in the afternoon - and this Starbucks was quite busy. There was a steady stream of cars going through the Drive Thru - as well as walk ins. There is a good bit of space inside this Starbucks to work. It took about 6 minutes for my drink to come up. We waited 20 minutes in the drive thru for two coffees. Granted, it was the second week of the return of pumpkin however, Starbucks should be better equipped/staffed to handle the influx of orders for a weekend that is KNOWN to be high traffic. I should NOT be having to wait 20 minutes for a coffee. In addition to the wait time, I had to drive 20 extra minutes to even get to this location because all other southern New Hampshire starbucks locations were out of: sweet cream, pumpkin cream, sugar syrup, macchiato items, and a couple of other items that the list was too long to remember. The only reason this is not a 1-star rating is because the coffee is typically very good. We are no longer regular customers. That is my best opening statement. I understand a lot of things, and Covid has changed a lot of things. But, a premium brand set's expectations. Don't open the store if you can't live up to them. They have staffing issues I get it, things go wrong I get it. What makes a premium brand truly premium is the Service and how you handle what goes wrong. We live in Hooksett, the Hooksett Starbuck is closed for the entire holiday weekend, because they know they can't staff it right. We are ok with that. South Willow Street in Manchester was open when we were driving by and my wife wanted her PSL. No Problem. The store was doing drive through only and it had a long line, No Problem. We wait 25 minutes between waiting to order and waiting to get to the front of the line, my wife's order is the same ever time Venti Hot PSL, 2 shots of syrup, skim milk, No Whip, Decaf. They state it back to us correctly. She gets the beverage, all the shots and whole milk. however it is decaf. She can't drink it, it's not that she is picky, the combination of the extra sugar from the syrup and the whole milk will make her sick. We Get It, mistakes happen, I park, I knock, they will not answer. I walk to the drive up window to try to explain, I am screamed at. I am told if there is an issue to get back in the Drive Through line. No Exceptions. I'm sure my wife will still buy PSL from other Starbucks, but this one is dead to us, and I won't support the brand. The drive thru for this location seems overly hectic in my opinion. Having the person at the window asking what you ordered and running off to get it or make it seems out of the norm for Starbucks. I am not happy with the accuracy of my drinks from this location either. I find that they use personal suggestions to make Frappachino drinks versus following a specific set recipe per corporate. Side note...... Satellite Radio will not work while you are against the tall building on the left while looping around to get to the pickup window. read more

I'm from Illinois and I have stopped at Starbucks all over the country. Without a doubt, this is the filthiest Starbucks I've ever been into. The floors are Dirty and need Need to be swapped and washed. Papers all over the floor, stickers stuck to the wall apparently place there by kids and the tables are not cleaned after use by others. Outside, tables are set up and there are large stains all over the sidewalk. It's so obvious that no effort has gone into keeping the place clean. As an aside, I'm counting seven employees but they all seem rather busy making coffee for those outside in cars. read more

The trick is to go in the morning everyone who works the morning shift is amazing and you won't be sitting in the drive through for 30+ minutes like the rest of the day. If u read the tag it should be the iced before the expresso and he didn't and was rude with that. U don't mess with someone's coffee ever and this Starbucks is always something up. I have been a customer at this Starbucks for 4+ years and had primarily good experienced until recently. On a Saturday I ordered two drinks in-store and was made to wait for nearly 20 minutes. The drive-thru was busy but the majority of customers inside were waiting for their orders, not waiting in line. After realizing that many people who ordered after us had already gotten their drinks and left, I asked an employee named Jocelyn about the delay. She did nothing to address the problem. I wouldn't have known she heard me except for the fact that she stared at me for a couple seconds before continuing to make other people's drinks and make remarks to her fellow employees. I then had to approach the cashier (Elena/Elaina/idk how to spell it - sorry!) who has been at this Starbucks for a while and is the sweetest. She had no idea why the order wasn't fulfilled, explained that they couldn't just place our order at the front of the queue, and refunded and comped us an extra $4, which was kind of her. I did see a number of employees dumping drinks and throwing away cups, so I assume that our orders were on those cups and whoever messed up just didn't realize or care that throwing them away meant that we wouldn't actually get our drinks? Also, it seems like mobile order is unavailable 50% of the time I try to use it and the drive-thru has a history of being randomly closed. If a store can't keep up with the customers, hire more staff. If you can't retain staff or if your staff is consistently as unhappy and rude to customers as Jocelyn was to me, pay them more and treat them better. The service industry can be hard, but mistakes like this just shouldn't happen when the primary job of a Starbucks employee is to make drinks. read more

This location was an extreme disappointment. The costumer service was terrible. My friends and I waited 20 minutes for their drinks and after 5 more minutes of waiting for mine, I asked about it and the drink ticket never printed. I was waiting for a drink that wasn't coming. A simple "We're sorry about that." "We'll get right on that." Would have been nice, but we received none of this. They took their time, made my drink, handed it over as if I'd just ordered it, and gave no concern as to how long we had been there. No compensation, no apology, no cares.
