My husband ordered egg bites and coffee, and I asked for a venti hot water, splash of almond milk and two pumps of sugar free vanilla. I add my own chi tea bags since they no longer carry them. I'm gluten free and can't do Chi mix. They insisted they would have to charge me $5.80 for full latte. I get this at airports and all over the US and never had anyone insist on paying that much. Manager, I believe his name is Scott, is an absolute asshole. We had an order for 5 people, two of the drinks were iced drinks. 2 of the drinks came out within 5 minutes. After 15 minutes of waiting for the other iced drinks and a plain coffee, my dad went up to ask where the other drinks were (kindly mind you, we were not upset or anxious to leave, it just seemed like the other drink order may have been lost or forgotten). Especially bc we watched people who came in 10-15min after us get their drinks immediately, some of which were the same thing we had in our order. My dad finally asks the man standing behind the counter if he sees 3 drinks under our order name as we'd been waiting for a while now, and he is immediately aggressive, responding with a snarky and loud "oh I'm so sorry us being busy is a problem for you." I'm not kidding, 3 different customers who were waiting in front of the counter turned around with wide eyes looking at us, one of them even mouthed "oh shittt." It was incredibly off putting for everyone who witnessed it. what a horrible attitude. We weren't even upset, we were just genuinely asking if the order was still back there or if it had been forgotten. My dad is a not a person who handles crappy people well, so to avoid further escalating the situation he immediately walked away from the "manager" to get help from the cashier. She was very kind, and my dad told her he just wanted a refund for the drinks we didn't receive- at that point none of us wanted to be there. I genuinely wanted to throw my drink, so we all walked out and waited outside. After speaking to her, we got a feeling the other 3 drinks had gotten mixed up behind the counter. She was sweet and very apologetic, giving us the refund. Our drinks came out immediately after that. If they weren't lost behind the counter, why didn't the manager just say "oh yes I'm working on it, they'll be right out!" But nope, instead he comes at us absolutely pissed off we dare ask how much longer an order is gonna take that we've now been waiting 20 minutes for - it's a coffee. You pour it into a cup, we watched you make many other coffees that were ordered after us. It really did seem like you misplaced our orders. No issues with the other staff here, but the manager should probably be demoted. I get that you're busy and it's frustrating, I've also worked many years in restaurants, bars and customer service. It can be incredibly annoying, but you don't speak to customers like that who aren't coming at you aggressively. I feel bad for the employees here because the manager seems like a nightmare to be around. I'd like to escalate this to corporate because I can't even imagine what the employees and other customers have had to deal with if the manager is that volatile and quick to misread a situation. Probably one of the worst locations I've been to. Every time I've ordered it has taken more than 40 minutes to receive the drink. They make drinks out of order based on which is easier and have the time they end up being wrong. When people ask for their orders to be cancelled because they're going to be late for work or something like it, the employees tell them they can cancel it but that there's nothing they can do for refunds. All our food was ready nice and fast, but the rest of our order took at least 20 minutes to be ready. Went up to ask nicely if our order got lost and the manager looked around and then realized there were a bunch of our drinks left. Said that the drinks will be ready soon. It's no mystery that Starbucks is by far my favorite stop for coffee and other selections that are spontaneous dictated by my cravings at any given moment. I have visited literally hundreds of Starbucks' location since they've come into existence and although they all seem to be pretty consistence with the quality of the products they offer; the service, quality of the product, wait-time, cleanliness and accessibility of the location are the five points I will rate all of them on going forward - so to make the point I've recently incorporated a rating system based on this short list to calculate the rating of the locations I visit. It's a workable Starbs. A lot of foot traffic the day I was here. Seems that most Starbucks only have Pike brewed in the afternoon if you're getting just straight black coffee, so if you want something like Signature Blend, you'll have to wait for a pour-over. I ordered it online and it went 20 minutes over the time it said it would be done. Then when I got it the entire cup was filled with ice, even though I ordered light ice. Stopped there today on the way to Door Co. My client wanted oolong tea and we both wanted to use the bathroom. I was rather rudely told that the bathrooms are closed because of the pandemic though there was a group of people inside the shop waiting for their orders - so, it's illogical to allow people in the shop but not allow them to use the bathroom. I walked across the parking lot to the hardware store behind this coffee shop just to use the bathroom and we ended up buying nothing at Starbucks, which should also bother the executives because every time a coffee shop like this is inconsiderate they're also turning away business. It's noteworthy that a few years ago I used to stop at this coffee shop several times a year to buy stuff for nearly twenty people as I worked on a project at the local marina. Translation: being rude and otherwise inconsiderate, which has become a very popular thing in America in the past three years, is bad for business. So, think about that for a minute. Not only did you people miss out on a small sale from me today, but you will miss out on 100% of all future purchases I would have otherwise made here because I'M NEVER COMING BACK. Lastly, I'm a military veteran. So, think about this, local manager and whatever executive might read this some day: what if you trained your people to treat all people who walk in your door as though they were military veterans, because many of us actually are. Slow. Ok I just have to say, Starbucks is Starbucks. You want what you're used to when you want it and expect or assume it to be consistent. Come on, I love Alterra and Fixx coffee in Milwaukee. I prefer local coffee shops but when you're on the go people, don't tell me you don't go to Starbucks on occasion. Having said that, I have my regular drinks such as gingerbread chai, salted carmel mocha, java chip frap, and lime or hibiscus coolers. Whatever your choice, the reason for 3 stars is I travel a lot and this happens to be on my route of necessary travel. I have to say people, pick up the pace. I've been here at least 9-12 times and it's consistently inconvenient, very slow and very unorganized. It doesn't matter whether your in the drive-through or inside. Drinks are not consistent, usually have corrections and always very long lines. Drinks are not always done and completed in order. Maybe not a useful review for all as there isn't another Starbucks close by in the area but I think I better look for an independent coffee shop soon in the area. I add this so that you don't think this is the Starbucks in your hometown or the usual because it really is a bit different and frustrating at times if you have expectations that you're used to. One of the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. Indoors was pretty empty, but it took the girl forever to take our order. Then she had the nerve to tell me if I wanted more cream in my coffee they would have to charge me for a latte when I already paid more for my drink than a latte would have cost. So this location was out of short cups that are plastic. I wanted a paradise drink for my kiddo. she immediately said would you like a tall instead? You will have to pay for the tall price tho. I told her it's for my kid and I want the smallest size. I asked if they had the hot cups in that size and if we could have it in that cup. She said let me check. She said no. Then she said you could could get a size tall and I will give you two cups. I said no thanks and asked if she could charge me for a short but use a tall and fill the drink not as full. She said no. She or her manager was ridiculous. In a normal world, if a restaurant is out of a cup and a customer wants that size you give the customer a size up no up charge. Plenty of times fast food places have done that if they were out of a smaller cup. Thats called customer service! I ended up canceling my order. read more

Very very nice people work here, but they need some help managing the crowd. They are hand delivering heated items by coming from behind the counter to the tables to deliver items and leaving no one to take orders. I stopped here this morning to use the rest room. I bought a cheese danish because I wanted to be nice since I had used thier facilities. I had an envelope of four twenties in my purse and had to pay wih one. The cashier gave me $2.58 back.... I said, "didn't I give you a 20?" She fumbled a bit and said "no, I think you gave me a five". I apologized for challenging her but I insisted I gave her a 20. She called another staff person over and they looked in a locked compartment under the cash register so they could "see what i gave her"... They then said I had paid with a 10. I repeated that I hadn't had a ten and showed her the envelope I had gotten the bill from. Then. I said, "well, even if it WAS a ten, you still didn't give me the correctt change". So the cashier then tried to figure out in her head how much she owed me and then handed me $3.50 back so unless it was a $4 scone I was still overcharged. Anyway, they settled the matter by taking my name and phone number and said they would " call me after the till was settled".... Haven't heard a word! I get that people try to get away with stuff like this but I felt that this was a most unsatisfactory way to handle my issue. I will never go to another starbucks again. read more
