Nicely located Starbucks on Hennepin. There's always plenty of seating and the fire place is always lit. The customer service is pleasant

A delicious cappuccino on a cold rainy day before a baseball game. Overall, really liked the location to the stadium. Also staff were super friendly. They even handled a guest who was a bit...unorthodox with their shoe wearing ideals. They handled it in a super professional way and wasn't made into a big deal. Cappuccino was a solid 3.5/5. Definitely a good one for a chain coffee shop!

It is offputting that large group tables are taken by singles spreading out when there are open 2 tops unused and it is crowded!

Not my normal place to stop but due to an event nearby, I needed a spot to hang out to get some work done. The best part of my visit here is realizing that they have some free, dedicated off-street parking behind some large garage doors on the S 1st Street side of the building. I was able to grab a parking spot and it kind of went downhill from there. Starbucks is my favorite mass branded coffee in terms of taste profiles and availability so I am a loyalist. What I did not likes was the vibe of this shop. Perhaps I am part of the generation that is aging out but it seemed like it was full of a lot of entitled, rude hipsters that really spread out and kind of ruined the vibe for me. What is the vibe you ask? Here are some good examples: 1. There are 2, large format, round tables near the entry (each seat 5-6 people), obviously there for groups to get together at. Both were occupied by a single person that looked like they were having a yard sale out of their backpack with paper spread all over. Hogging space like that in a busy coffee house smells of impolite entitlement to me. 2. On the other side of the entrance, there are 2 built in L-shaped bench seating areas. If people sat like they are supposed to sit on a bench, the area could easily seat probably 8-10 people. Instead, there were 2 people in full supine recline on the bench, shoes all over the bench and all. I could have been at the beach. Really kind of gross when I realized that at some point, someone is going to come in and sit where these dirtbags were putting their shoes. Kind of equates to sitting down on a bathroom floor for me. 3. There were used napkins on the floor and on tables. Some tables had crumbs, cups and spills on them and clearly the tables were unoccupied. As I write this, I am watching the guy in front of me throw away someone's left over cup and having to go and get wet napkins to wipe off his seat and table. The staff were busy so really I understand that they may be delayed in cleaning up after people. I can forgive that. What I can't really forgive is the lack of common courtesy by the previous customers using that space. C'mon people, can you seriously not throw away your own trash and wipe up your own spills? I'm sort of wondering if I am at a zoo! All of the above suggests to me that this particular location is over-run by a crowd that must have not paid attention in kindergarten to lessons in common courtesy and has some extreme entitlement issues. I'm also not a fan that this type of behavior is tolerated by the staff. For me, I still love the coffee and the brand. But I will definitely be happier getting it at a different location.

The coffee beans are burnt beyond recognition, and the coffee itself is kept so hot that it tastes like liquid ash.

I ordered the French Toast Latte. It was good, but I think I should have gone with one of the seasonal drinks if I was looking for more of that "wow" factor. The veggie momos took about 20 minutes to come out, which seems pretty standard since they're made fresh. The wait didn't feel long at all. They arrived hot, and the filling was delicious mostly cabbage and potato. The portion was generous and filling. I also loved the chili sauce, it had a nice kick without overpowering the dumplings. I also loved the individual task lights above the smaller tables. It's a small detail, but it made the space feel really thoughtful. The only downside is that there isn't much natural light, so the cafe can feel a little dark, especially toward the back. The staff was the biggest disappointment. They weren't rude, but they came across as pretty standoffish, which made the experience feel less welcoming than the space itself. I ordered the light roast coffee and, unfortunately, it was pretty terrible. That said, the menu is huge with lots of different drinks and food options, so I'm sure there's something on it that would be a much better choice. I also didn't try any of the pastries, but they looked absolutely massive and definitely caught my attention. Overall, I really wanted to like this place more. The atmosphere is great and it seems like an excellent spot to work or relax for a while, but the coffee and less than welcoming service left me a little underwhelmed. I'd be willing to give it another shot and try something different from the menu.

I think Caffetto kind of corners a market that no one else has by being open so late--most coffee shops are barely open past noon, and they're open until midnight! I've personally spent many a late night there finishing up work--it's a really cozy atmosphere, and the selection of pinball machines in the basement are the perfect study break activity. The staff are all great and even when there's a line, they get through it quick and are still able to offer great recommendations--while I usually prefer an iced green tea with no ice, I've tried the lattes, cold press, Thai coffee, and hot chocolate and have genuinely never had a bad drink here. The only thing is to make sure you watch your step if you're walking in the basement--even though it has seating and pinball and the bathroom, it's more of an unfinished space with uneven flooring and I personally rolled my ankle and fell there last year haha.

I had a triple decaf almond milk latte that tasted like it was caffeinated to me but didn't give me the buzz I'm so addicted to, that's when you know it's a good decaf. I love the coziness and the unique artwork in Caffetto. I look forward to coming back at an earlier hour to feed my addiction. But it's great to know I have a go to coffee shop for those afternoon cravings where the decaf tastes just as delightful! UPDATE- 2 hours later: there's additional seating and a pinball machine room in the basement, glad I went downstairs to the bathroom.

The miso cortado was delicious and really stood out, and they have a great variety of specialty drinks. The service was also extremely kind and welcoming, which I genuinely appreciated. That said, the space didn't quite live up to the hype. The location felt a little unfinished. Minimal decor, unfinished flooring, and no truly cozy seating made it feel less like a place you'd want to settle into for a while. While they encourage people to linger and don't offer Wi-Fi (which I respect), the ambiance doesn't quite support that intention. It felt more like a quick in-and-out stop, even though that doesn't seem to be their goal. The atmosphere was chill, with vinyl records playing in the background, which was a nice touch. I just wish the overall design and seating matched that relaxed, stay-awhile vibe. Great coffee and kind staff, but the space itself didn't fully align with the experience I was hoping for.
