Went here on Saturday November 9th 2024 with my mom after shopping at target, in which this starbucks is located. Please note, it can get really busy at any time, and this can slow down drinks. Sometimes there are only 1-2 people on at a time here. Now, we didn't experience any line, however, when we entered target there was a long line. I decided on the peppermint mocha latte hot grande, and my mom got a pumpkin cake that was warmed, as well as other pastries. The barista britany was very nice. We paid via a starbucks gift card. When i got home enjoyed my latte. i always found starbucks to be a bit strong, so it can be a sometimes thing. But overall, enjoyed it. Maybe i'll be back to try something else! ______________ Side note: I also work here so i want to explain our offerings: One can get any drink hot or cold. So what the peppermint latte iced? no problem! We also have nice cold drinks like a strawberry refresher, and a pink drink with coconut milk. Try our Vanila cold foam that is made here! Also we have lattes, frappincos, and lots of options. Also, are you a seosonal starbucks member and like something that you don't see-- ask for it! Like right now we still have pumpkin spice flavor! We also have regular coffee, some teas, and more! We also sell sandwiches such as the impossible sandwich, a spinach sandwich, and others. We also have famous cake pops like chocolate, birthday cake, cookies and cream, a bull'seye (Target dog) Cake pop, and pastries such as the pumpkin cake, chocolate cake, and banana walnut cake, as well as croussants. This Starbucks will never make any of the special/promo seasonal drinks. No matter what it is - they are always 'out of it'. Sorry, no lemonade we can't make that drink that we have on every single poster and is right in front of your face. Sorry, no coconut milk. It's inside a target that sells......lemonade, coconut milk, etc. but somehow they can't access it? Try it - order a seasonal promo drink, you'll see. They will not make it for you. read more

I haven't wrote a review about this the last two disappointing times I walked in just to see disgruntle teen employees rude about being closed and proceeding to clean. We went to Stabucks in Monroe Target today when we had an above and beyond experience. When we couldn't decide between the Smores Frap and the Iced latte, Jeff decided to make my friend and I a signature drink but personalized it to exactly what we wanted. I ordered a Venti Hazelnut Latte and received flavored milk. Absolutely no espresso AT ALL. I was already short on time so I didn't want to be rude as there was a long line so I elected to throw the drink out and call to request a refund. Jokes on me, they don't even have a working phone. This Starbucks is AWFUL! I went there to get a water and all of a sudden they are charging me for tap water!!! And the lines are always super long and there are never enough people. They are very lazy, and sometimes I witness them fall asleep when they are suppose to work. Plus the workers are very rude to a KID. They blame stuff on me that I have not done! Also the workers leave messes in the Starbucks all the time, Gross!!! Worst Starbucks, don't bother this one, go to Dunkin Donuts or go to the Starbucks in Woodbury commons! Eh, I REALLY wish there was a standing brick and mortar Starbucks in the Monroe area that WASN'T in Woodbury Commons. I'm not gonna go to the mall to get Starbucks in the morning. I have to SETTLE for this place once in awhile and I always regret it! The "baristas" here aren't trained properly but rather Target workers who've they've taught to brew coffee. The coffee here isn't up to par, drinks are inconsistent and I think they just say espresso isn't working cause they don't want the hassle of serving it. The coffee is just weak! Been going to this Starbucks for years. I live in the area and most of the times when I want a good coffee from Starbucks it's more convenient to go here rather than the one in the commons (parking, people, etc.) however I have had multiple issues here but cannot say the same for the commons location. The staff here are usually pretty nice, accommodating, and if I found any mistakes they have always fixed it with no issue. I have watched the staff here get yelled at and bossed around by other customers who clearly showed no respect for the baristas and have always felt bad. However today that changed. I went in today with my brother to get an iced coffee, I knew I had to stay up late tonight but sometimes without caffeine that is difficult. I wanted to be able to save my coffee for when I really needed that burst of caffeinated energy so I ordered a venti iced latte with almond milk but asked them to not add the ice. (This way I could save my coffee in a yeti bottle for about 2 hours and add my own ice in later) I have heard MANY other people do this at both Starbucks and other places wether with soda or coffee. But when I asked the girl taking my order who was about my age (I'm 17) she had a judgmental look on her face and continued to say "... ok, but if you ask me that's very weird". It caught me off guard but I assumed that she was just trying to make conversation or joke around with me (I have a pretty high tolerance when it comes to a sense of humor) so I laughed it off and continued to explain to her that I was going to save the coffee for later and add my own ice in, this way the ice wouldn't melt making my coffee watery. She said "I guess that makes sense but it's still pretty weird" I then told her I was going to put it in a yeti bottle because I have to stay up late for work and she then told me that I shouldn't put it in a yeti or hydro flask. When I asked why she simply said "I don't know that's just weird." At this point I lost my patience and just walked away and waited for my coffee I was done hearing her 2 cents on my situation and just wanted to get my coffee and go. Who asked her anyways? The other girls who were working with her (which by the way out of all the times I have came here I have never seen any of them so I am assuming at least some of them are somewhat new) began making my drink, they didn't label it or write on it or any of the normal reoccurring Starbucks identification to my cup. They had the coffee ready within 5 seconds of them me ordering it so I guess that was nice but the cup was hardly half full. I am not too mad considering that I didn't get ice but everyone else who orders their iced latte without ice usually just receives the rest of the cup filled with milk. My barista friends all told me that is what they are trained to do. I am honestly assuming that the cartoon of almond milk just ran out and they didn't feel like opening a new one with how low the drink was in my cup. They put my drink down and said "here you go" In honestly a pretty nasty tone. They then all huddled up in, I kid you not, a circle and started talking. Confused on wether it was my drink or not considering it had no name or anything, I stood there for about a minute till one of them acknowledged me and asked "sorry, I'm just making sure this is my drink". They nodded their head and got back to talking in their circle as if this were a high school cafeteria. That being said for most of my Starbucks needs I will be using the Starbucks in the Woodbury commons. But if I ever am in target and cross that girl again I will go order another drink without ice just so I can sass her back just like I should have done this time. Never judge your customer to their face, they are paying and you are getting paid to accommodate them. I always tip when baristas are nice to me but definitely not this girl. Something about her was just very off I felt like I was in school lol. I am aware this is not at all the most inconvenient thing that can happen when ordering a coffee but I dislike the feeling of Benny judged and I just thought I would warn others with social anxiety. I have the location 3 stars though because 1 rude employee shouldn't give a bad reputation to the whole place and the rest of its employees! read more

This is the only local Starbucks we have, other than one in Woodbury Commons, which is terrible for locals. Our Starbucks in Target closes at 8pm. I get coffee here daily. I took my kids to get Frappuccinos for a special occasion tonight. It was 6:48pm. I was told by both staff members that they stopped selling Frapps for the night... which they said they do about an hour before they close, to clean the machine. This establishment is opened to the public until 8pm... you close down your machines more than an hour before it closes? Cleaning should be done after 8pm and all items should be available to customers (as long as they are in stock). Very disappointed with the service and lack of professionalism, not to mention the time wasted driving there and waiting in line. I will be contacting corporate about it. read more

My order was forgotten which was fine. I was the only one waiting and the two girls were talking. I didn't mind but I mean if I'm standing right by the counter you'd think they would realize I'm waiting for my drink. But it's fine mistakes happen. Took the cashier/barista 10 min to make two drinks for the customer before me and then when it was finally my turn she told me she didn't know how to make a holiday drink and that it "won't be perfect" because she missed training day before. The Asian barista/cashier had a nasty attitude, dude acted like he did not want to be there. He should learn some manners and how to treat customers. Worst Starbucks I ever been to. The presentation of my drinks were poor and they looked ugly and not pleasant. This Starbucks is great the only reason I'm writing a review is bc when I stopped there today something bothered me a great deal. The girl who took my order was very friendly and sweet she seemed new as she was asking her "manager" I believe his name is Tom, questions about the drinks (i'm assuming he was her manager from the way he talked to her) I ordered a grande caramel iced coffee and she had simply asked her manager how many pumps of caramel the iced coffee got and his response to her (which was directly in front of me and other guests) was in the rudest tone, "what kind of cup is that?" And "ugh the only time you do one pump is if they specifically ask for only 1 pump" and would storm off into the back and roll his eyes at her as if she was doing something wrong and whether this girl was new or not, no one at their job deserves to be spoken to or treated like that. You would think people would want their employees to double check with them about something rather than give away too much or do something wrong on their own. I was very disgusted at how this guy talked to this young girl and I really hope someone does something about it. read more
