Happy we found this coffee shop! We ordered citron tea, matcha and a vanilla latte. All good. Also, had to try a croissant and that was delish. Nice and roomy inside and comfortable setting. Clean as well! Very helpful service. We'd definitely come back. read more

One of my girls recommended this spot to meet up. I loveeeeee Taro. And so what caught my eye of course was their Taro Latte. It was one of the BEST DRINKS of my life. The caramel macchiato was decent, no complaints on that. The pastries looked delicious and inviting but were hard, obviously old and stale. I had taken them to go and had been looking forward to having them when I got home but sadly they went right into the trash. The woman working behind the counter exudes bad vibes and negativity. When asked what is in the berry smoothie she said with straight emotionless face "smoothie" so I again said yes what berries are in it and she responds "berries". It's actually comical when I think of it now but it was not said for comedy, but for a truly bad attitude. I heard her speak to another customer ahead of me in the same way. I've seen this same experience said in other reviews so I'm assuming she wasn't just having an off day. I hope she can find her joy someday maybe this isn't the business for her. I really wanted to love this place but why go here when Mr Croissant is two doors away and is always fresh and delicious and no bad attitude. read more

The place is very relaxing and quite, definitely a large the opposite of busy street it on, plus is very clean and neat. The service was very pleasant and made sure the order was made just right and no time at all. For the strawberry crepe cake slice, it was very refreshing and not overly sweet like cakes are usually, the filling was great and crepe layers itself were paper thin light. For the strawberry ade, was not entirely sure what it was, but ended up really enjoy it, it was strawberry club soda drink sweetened only so much so it was refreshing but not to point of being a sugar rush like a lemonade or bottled soda. I ordered on the phone beforehand. Excellent customer service. The chai lattes were ready upon my arrival, and in a carrying case. I also purchased an ube rice krispie treat. I have visited Dayes several times for my daughter hot chocolate or to try a new cultural snack from the pastry section. My daughter was obsessed with the idea of a crepe cake and when she seen Dayes had them she couldn't wait. Needless to say she ate the entire thing lol. They also have these chocolate biscotti's that my daughter loves to get each time we visit. I will say that I wish they had more savory options as we typically don't like to overload on sweets. I would love to see something like a croissant that would pair with my coffee. The service is nice. They will come to your table with the coffee or treats on beautiful plates with gold silverware. My friend got a hot peppermint coffee and hers was great she loves coffee and didn't like mine either. It's crazy how different our drinks were. Okay maybe I am a Starbucks fan, but I even drink Maxwell House Instant, and this Dayes Coffee was, in a word, yucky. I went out on a limb and bought the bigger size bag of beans by mail costing me $37.20. After not liking it, I tried to email them, to ask what I could do. After getting no answer, I went to their site and tried the chat. Took them a while to answer, they sent me a link to their Return policy, which I already read, and it didn't really say what I could do for a refund. So I packed it up and sent it back with paperwork in a USPS mailer bag and when I got home, I saw they answered my chat telling me not to send it. Too late. Then they chose to refund me $18.60--not sure where the amount came from. With total purchase price and postal fee minus the refund, my single cup of yucky coffee cost me $29.00 So, NO, I do not recommend you take a chance on Dayes Coffee. And, for that reason, I am out! A costly mistake on my part. read more
