I go to starbucks for coffee. I don't go for the sweet drinks. However, every once in a while on a hot day an ice cold sweet drink is best for me to order. I was there this morning around 8 AM; there was a slight rush. The cashier was super friendly. This staff did a great job at providing good customer service to a very rude customer. After I had ordered my coffee, I was waiting. And a man on the phone got his coffee and apparently it was wrong. He yelled at the cashier saying it's not that hard and he doesn't understand how they messed it up. Then proceeds to talk very loudly on the phone saying "it's not that f-ing hard to make a coffee. There's like eight employees and they're all a bunch of idiots. I don't understand how they messed up my coffee. It's not that hard." and a bunch of more rude and disrespectful names were said loudly for stuff to hear. My coffee was made in the wrong size, but I don't blame them for not being able to hear me when I was ordering because of how loud this man was. Props to staff for being so calm and helpful in this situation. read more

This is a Stone Age Starbucks, because it has the slowest charging and Wifi I've ever experienced at any Starbucks, ever. The drinks are alright, but the internet speed is reminiscent of 1999. And don't even think about super fast charging, because it's just not going to happen here. I ended up coming here a few times, and got a few drinks. I thought that the staff was friendly, the drinks were good, and the wait time was not bad at all. However, as a former fast food manager, I'm *concerned* about the fact that I was able to sit in the lobby for over two hours (because that's how long it took to charge my stuff) without seeing a single barista wipe down a single table or counter surface. For example, the table that I originally wanted to sit at (the table between the restroom and the food ordering counter) was covered in crumbs when I came in. Two hours later, it was still covered in the same crumbs. A group of girls ages 3-14 were here for about an hour tearing it up, and fifteen minutes after they've left, their mess is still one hundred percent present. Even when everyone left, the drive through was empty, and there appeared to be down time to clean, no attempt to clean the lobby was made. So that's kind of concerning... but the coffee was good. read more

I have no idea why this Starbucks is rated so low. We stop here several times a year while charging our Tesla at the nearby Superchargers. The service is fast and friendly, the drinks and food are great (standard Starbucks fare). It's a larger store and very clean. We love this Starbucks. It's easy on/off the freeway and a short, refreshing walk from the Superchargers. Highly recommend. read more

I have no idea why people are going above and Beyonce to say the employees are rude. I've been going to this Starbucks ever since they've opened and have always been treated nicely. Sometimes I wait at the register for a few minutes because they're short staffed - BECAUSE ITS A SMALL TOWN AND EVERYONE IS HIRING. Even when they're busy and focused on pushing out orders, they are VERY willing to answer any questions I have. Some of them (Ethan, Zack, Ayanna) even ask me if I want coffee grounds bagged up (because they know I have a large garden) without me even asking for it. The store is always a chill vibe, just like every other Starbucks I've been to. I honestly think they got hit with the mountain energy too quickly and they're just in a bad mood because they didn't take the time to center themselves... idk. read more

It's a Starbucks, some love it, others not so much. My husband needed some caffeine in the afternoon, and I had a Starbucks card, last used over a decade ago (guess which camp I'm in), so we dropped by. I had a latte with almond milk, and he ordered a brewed coffee. There was a 70 cent additional charge for the almond milk. I'm not sure if it's still due to covid protocols or just being cheap, but there is no self-serve sweeteners or cream, those have to be added by the barrista, so your order may come out too sweet or not sweet enough for your individual taste. read more

They forgot about my order so I sat around for 40 minutes waiting. The coffee didn't taste quite as good as it normally does either. They gave me a card to compensate for my order being late but the card was only $4 off my next drink; not even enough to pay for another one. Pretty disappointing overall. read more

Tonight, the service at this store left a lot to be desired. While my and my mom's coffees were yummy and ready upon arrival, my dad's coffee was not. Apparently decaf coffee, though available to order on the app, is not actually readily available to order. We were told it would "be another minute" even though we arrived after our pick up time. Ok, that's fine. It was finally ready 13 minutes after our scheduled time and the supposed-to-be hot coffee was cold. My dad asked the gal if they could warm it up but she said, "We can't take it back." So we spent $5 on a cup of drip coffee with cream and you don't have a way to reheat it? Maybe it was an off evening but a little smile and apology goes a long way and this crew just wasn't going there. read more

The managers are on a power trip at this location. They berate their employees in front of customers. It's embarrassing sitting there listening to it and I'm not the one they are belittling. What a shame!!!! I come there to take a break from my job and it's way too intense in this Starbucks. It has happened more than once. I will never be back. Train your managers better. read more

I'm so happy with Starbucks in our town Mount Shasta, I don't need to go all the way to Weed for my delicious drinks, I no drink coffee, but they have so many another options, and I love it, my Frappuccinos for example, so yummy, also is a good place for have a meeting or hang out with your friends, the location is perfect and the service super friendly and good. I love the store is big and have so much natural light with incredible view, you can seat inside and outside, Summer is coming, so perfect for to have a cool drink outside and enjoy the our majestic mountain or black butte! read more

Would you like coffee in your cream? Jesus Christ! I love starbucks and am not upset about the coffee I know they would always make me another. What sucks is them not being open only the drive through. Pay the employees more money and raise the prices like they do in Hawaii or Disneyland so someone will be willing to work there. Slowest Starbucks I have EVER been to!! Plenty of staff, I have no idea what their issue is.

Every time we come through the drive thru, it's in the evening after sports. My daughter is starving and just wants their amazing grilled cheese. We pull up to the order menu, they tell us they'll be right with us and we SIT FOR FIVE MINUTES at least before they finally come back and want our order. Twice now we've tried to order food and they say their oven is off...it's not even close to closing time, why is their oven off? Shouldn't their oven get turned off AFTER they close? So annoying and disappointed every time we go through here. You would think I would learn my lesson! read more

I walked in the store at 12:35 on a Saturday 9/25. Not one of the 5 employees even looked up at me or the man standing in line behind me. Their heads were all down, working, no smiles no greeting. I waited at the un staffed register for about 4-5 minutes when an employee did take my order, but again no hospitality. They all looked like they did not want to be there. Server, Zach, was incredibly unkind and passive aggressive. Would not give me enough creamer for my coffee. He simply refused, unless I paid for more cream. I stepped outside to the patio to make a quick phone call. When I returned, I requested a refill. He refused and told me I had to pay for a whole new cup of coffee because I stepped outside. I've been a gold card member for decades and go to Starbucks all over the US and Canada. I have NEVER been treated disrespectfully at Starbucks before. Zach sneered at me when the manager gave me a refill. Before I left, I caught Zach and his manager, Morgan, staring and gossiping about me. I called corporate and the lady was very nice, made a report, and compensated me for this unnecessary, upsetting experience. read more

This is about the 8th time I've gone inside Starbucks. Each time there's an average of 7 employees working and not one of them greets me or takes my order until after at least 5 minutes of standing there. You're better off driving few more miles up to weed. read more

I love our new Starbucks in Mount Shasta! It looks clean, bright, spacious and inviting! Pretty views from the large picture windows of Mt. Eddy, Mt. Shasta and Black Butte... and very caring and nice staff to serve you anything you ask for-- especially customized coffee drinks. Since it just opened, some of the staff is new and take a bit longer to get your order, but they try hard and I think they will soon be completely up to speed. I very much prefer this location to the Starbucks in Weed. This Starbucks benefits from being flooded with light and has a high energy vibe. Some locals were not happy to have a chain coffee place move in, but Starbucks gets big points for being consistent and being open at 5am and not closing until later in the evening. As I said, the young staff seem very nice, especially Matt, who has gone out of his way every time I visit to say hello and to make me perfect specialty drinks! We are blessed to have this new business in town! read more
