So kind, friendly and thoughtful that it really took me by a surprise. I would say make sure you hire more like this one, but I'm afraid she's such a rarity that I'll just say hang onto her while you can because she's better for your business than even the super low prices in my estimation! Bravo grocery outlet.

Today when I entered the weed California grocery outlet I was summarily asked to leave and told I could never shop there again. Even though my dog has been thoroughly trained to disregard extraneous stimulants. I was not asked to leave. I was told to leave under conditions that I would consider assault. That is loud voices commands, overbearing authority and plain rudeness. I left the store because the confrontation with the clerks was becoming either a slugfest or a shootout. These are the most rude people I have ever encountered. I understand from the weed California police that the owner Rodney Barr cares for his own disabled brother. Maybe he should tell his employees. I will be trying to contact the owner. This deserves more attention than he's been paying to his store. It's outrageous

Driving home from Portland, I had to make a stop at Shasta City for a charge for my car. Just…read moreacross from the charging stations was Ray's Food Place. It was a medium sized supermarket with a deli counter. Since it was lunch time I decided to try out a deli sandwich. There were about a dozen predefined sandwiches but none got my attention. So I ordered a simpler roast beef with tomatoes, cucumber and spinach with mayonnaise on a garlic-parmesan roll. It was done pretty quick and costs $9.99. Honestly it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. Service was excellent as there were about three persons working the deli counter. Parking is also very easy as there were many spots available. The inside of the building was a little older looking compared to the newer supermarkets near where i live. I will remember this place the next time I stop there for a charge.

They tout themselves as an employee owned grocery store. However the employees are obviously not happy with their own business. We encountered approximately four employees looking for certain items and in checking out and not one ventured to look us in the eye when answering a question of which they all had no answer. Let's move onto the prices! I know this is California and everything is much higher than it is in Las Vegas however, aren't you in a location that supplies the country with avocados, blueberries, strawberries, etc.? You're not importing this food so why is it so much higher than it is in Las Vegas? We bought some necessities the first day but decided to rough it out for the rest of our stay solely based on cost. I'm not cheap by no means but I'm definitely opposed to being ripped off.
