I strongly dislike the Lilly's Corner location. The drive thru line takes forever. There is a grimpy 20 something yr old dude that often takes my order. They should rotate him off anything that has to do with customer interaction. WIf you go inside to order they prioritize online orders so even though no one may have been in front of you may have to wait five drinks to have your drink made. That is irritating. The coffee is too expensive for what they are selling. Pikes Peak is maybe my most hated roast of all time.... Which is what you usually are getting. I do like their sandwiches... but this location strangely sells out of its daily allotment... which is so weird-- if you have it in the back, why not sell it??? The refreshers are what bring me in. On a hot day those at 150-ish cal per grande are a nice occasional sugary treat the new Summer skies made with coconut milk and raspberry boba are a nice addition for summer. Im sure they sell out of those by July and be gone a full year-- As they cant seem to figure out how much to order at this location. read more

My family and I ordered a pickup order right before we arrived at the drive-thru & the worker told us we had to back through the drive-thru because the order had just come in. They then made us come inside instead to pick up our items. We realized we ordered really last minute, but It was completely unnecessary and the worker was also snappy. Well, the more often I've needed to stop at a coffee shop out in the suburbs, the more I've learned that Starbucks is all you'll likely find. I wish my local coffee shop favorites would expand outside of the downtown area... That being said, this Starbucks was a solid four stars. The location is a little weird, as the entrance is kind of hidden, facing a hill with the majority of the parking in the back. However, once you're inside that all disappears and you're greeted with a smile. The gentleman running the register was a sweetheart from beginning to end. They had a little bit of seating but lucky for me most of the business was to-go, only a few were propped up working like myself. For the most part, the space was clean and just what you would expect from a Starbucks. The service was a little slow but it was really busy during my stay. I always have a good experience at this Starbucks location. I ordered from their app and picked up in store. Upon entering, I was greeted by several friendly employees. I got the impossible breakfast sandwich and an iced chai. I absolutely love the impossible breakfast sandwich. You would never know it is not real meat. One thing I noticed on the app was that there is no longer an option to add a packet of siracha to your order. Not sure if they no longer have it or it's just not an online option anymore. This is usually my go to location on the way to see my in-laws every few months. At my last visit there I went through the drive-thru & ordered a vanilla latte with only 2 pumps of vanilla, versus the original 4 pumps that it comes with. I noticed on the screen there was an .80cent charge for vanilla. When I got to the window I asked why there was an additional charge for vanilla because I didn't request additional vanilla, I wanted less vanilla. She said their prices went up & they now charge extra for flavored pumps. I understand everyone's prices have gone up, but doesn't make since to charge extra for vanilla in a drink that is advertised as already having vanilla. It's like ordering a cheeseburger, but then they charge you additional for the cheese. Also, I was very grossed out when I took my first drink & it was a slimy thick consistency like there was a loogie in it. read more

I've been coming to this location for 5 years! Who knows how much I've spent here? I ordered a Venti Non Fat Latte this morning with a Splenda and Cocoa Powder on top. To my surprise, my drink was $5.25. I looked at the barista in shock and said, "did your prices go up? My drink is ALWAYS $4.75." She told me they now charge $.50 for cocoa powder! I said, "NO THANKS! I'm not paying $.50 for two shakes of your wrist to top off my drink with powder! $5.25 for a steamed glass of MILK, Espresso and Cocoa powder! I can get a whole gallon of milk at the Store for almost half that! I won't be back! It's sad, too. I've used this location for business, breaks during work and treated clients here. I'M DONE!!! It's not about $.50, either. There is nothing more annoying than being "nickel and dimed" in a transaction! They didn't have what we came for, and we came for something that wasn't terribly exotic. However, and this is good, they were able to suggest a reasonable alternative to what we wanted to get and an honest explanation of why what we wanted wasn't available. How you handle a problem, no matter how small, makes all the difference in the world. The store was also clean, well staffed, although not very quick with our orders. Toddlers comply with reasonable requests faster than they did but it was an over all good store and decent experience. read more

This has happened to me a few times, and I've been understanding before, but I'm really on my last straw here. My wait at this location is never any less than 20 minutes, but I have never once received a free drink. If I went down the road to the Market St location, I could get my drink in five minutes or less. The service is always this slow, and it hasn't improved since the store opened a couple of years ago. My drink is always made correctly and never less than expected, but the slowness just kills the motivation for me to ever come here again. I'll be hitting up the other location next time. read more

Okay, I really like this location. It's always very clean when I go in, and staff is very friendly. However, the parking situation is atrocious. And I know the manager didn't design the parking lot and drive thru, but way too often the drive thru is slammed while the parking lot is empty- and I can't get in the parking lot because everyone in the drive thru line is blocking the entrances. You have to park in Giant Eagles lot and walk across the road and through the parking lot, or forget about getting coffee. Blows my mind that customers don't have enough sense to not block the entrance for those of us who would rather walk inside instead of waiting in a 15 car drive thru line. Wish management would put signs up telling people to leave entrances clear. read more

I'm only writing a bad review because this morning, March 20th, was apparently a bad morning to go to the NA Starbucks across from Giant Eagle. A very negative environment, which is unusual. I've been there in the past, mostly through the drive through, and had very upbeat, positive interactions. Today, everyone on duty was surly and unhelpful (didn't want to help me with the name of an iced drink I'd had which isn't on their menu overhead - she said "there are too many to name").......and then I waited for a while, when it didn't seem busy, and when I went up to check on my cold strawberry açaí drink, another surly person asked "what's your name?" Oh well, just wanted to let owner/manager know that it wasn't up to par. Maybe put a happy person or two in the mix....hope tomorrow is better!! read more

This Starbucks opens early, at 5am, which is a plus because I have found most open at 6am. I am so addicted to the Venti White Chocolate Mocha. It's a signature drink of theirs, and if you like white chocolate, I suggest you give it a go...just remember, there's no going back. Also, if you have a smart phone, and you frequent Starbucks, you are doing yourself an injustice by not signing up for their reward's program. All you have to do is link your debit or credit card to the app, and it takes about 30 seconds to add more funds when you need to. You'll be drinking for free now and then before you know it. Now, back to this location..the staff is very friendly, and you usually don't have to wait long, but the downside...no drive-thru. It's the closest Starbucks to me but parking can sometimes be a bear because... well everyone has to go inside to get what they came for! The City of New Albany of course takes advantage of this by placing parking meters at certain "better" spots, at no fault of the store of course (unless they're getting a cut that we are unaware of). It's a typical Starbucks, pretty cozy, and not usually hard to find somewhere to sit if you plan to stay. I stopped going here because they wouldn't fill the latte's up to anything close to the top, instead would smother it with whipped cream so it looked full. Sadly, whipped cream is MUCH lighter than the drink itself and the weight difference was noticeable. Took pictures each time and management seemed apologetic but it happened four times in a month and I go about twice a week. Go to the one downtown or in the Kroger.
