Great coffee shop with excellent pastries. Located in the heart of the Bridge Park area and was very busy.

First visit to Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea two weeks ago and we enjoyed it. We ordered iced lattes and a couple of their version of pop tarts. The dining room is spacious with plenty of seating, the decor is light and airy and the staff was friendly. This is a recommended place to visit for coffee, tea and bakery items. read more

​Five stars for coffee - we purchased two different blends and enjoyed both. Five stars for ambiance - clean, natural light, good (not too loud) music. One star for customer service - after paying around $7 for two medium coffees, we asked for a small cup to be able to sample each others. We were told no! I explained again why we wanted a cup, and she just said "no, that is our policy." I understand managing costs and possibly not providing cups to non-paying clients... but I've never been to a coffee shop where they won't provide one extra cup with purchase. Whether it's a water cup (any coffee shop, many without even purchase as I'm a runner and dip into many on long runs!), a double cup due to extremely hot coffee (Starbucks) or a cup to taste/sample, I have never been told "no" as a paying customer. Complete turn off and likely will not return. Sidenote - no ceramic mugs for dine in option (could offer this to offset paper cup costs!) but not including that as part of official review. read more

I really enjoy the coffee drinks here every time we are in town, as well as the brownies. I do wish they had more substaintial food though. Overall the drink menu is good, but they are a bit slower, and they do get super busy with online pickups (at least when I've gone there) - so expect to wait. read more

Love the iced Dreamy coffee with three new special summer flavors. The coconut and pistachio flavors are both so good. The pistachio is the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Even when it is very busy, the staff is always outstanding here. read more

Sweetwaters is really a cute spot to get your coffee/drink fix. The place is very spacious with friendly staff and as another review motioned, it has big windows where you can get a drink and sit, relax and people watch. They have variety of drinks. But the last time I went, we ordered French Vietnamese Au Lait, hot chocolate and a brookie. The French Vietnamese Au Lait was really good, just the right balance of sweet and smoothness to it. Shout out to Sweetwaters Coffee today - I think I drank my coffee to quickly, and too distractedly, to really have a strong opinion on it, but they were running a long and lasting line SUPER efficiently. I was honestly surprised how steadily the line moved, and after I paid, I had time for a really quick bathroom stop, and then they called my name. They were also staffing their market stall, so I was pretty impressed. I had the cafe caramel and didn't find it too sweet, and it wasn't too hot, but other than that, I guess I was tired and just kind of drank it down fast. Sorry 'bout that! read more

You will find a great cup of black coffee at Sweetwaters, and a lot of options for baked good and little nibbly things. If you like Starbucks, you'll feel at home here: They serve a lot of the same kinds of coffee drinks that Starbucks sells, and they're quick and efficient. And if you don't like Starbucks, then you'll also feel at home here, because this is not Starbucks ... it's much better! I am a simple gal when it comes to coffee, so I just got a medium cup, no cream or sugar. I was this close to grabbing one of the tasty-looking homemade pop tarts or muffins they had on display, but I stopped myself. Next time! There are lots of tables indoors, and lots of table outdoors on their patio, too. We visited when the farmers market was happening, which was right outside, so all of the tables were full and the place was very crowded. I'm sure it's not that crowded most of the time. Conveniently located in the great bridge park area! I've been here multiple times and love trying a variety of their items. The service is always friendly and helpful. The drinks are yummy and they have a huge variety from hot to cold. Whether you want to order a specialty drink or build your own. You can also pair it with a yummy pastry. Pretty popular spot, even on a weekday morning. Steady flow of customers and about half the seats inside are filled. I grabbed a cold brew. It has a good flavor without being overly heavy or rich. Quite a bit lighter than I'm used to and I actually found it refreshing. Not much to choose from for food. I didn't see any hot food, just a few pastries and parfaits. read more

I'm not a coffee shop guy (don't drink coffee) so I went in to meet with a coworker and ordered the pomegranate green tea, it was really good! I was surprised to see the amount of tea selections they had as well, so that was nice. The service was timely and the place was pretty busy at 8:30am on a Thursday, so I bet they were working pretty fast. One knock on the actual restaurant that I noticed is that when it was busy it was a bit difficult to hear. I don't know if that place doesn't have very good acoustics or what but with a full house it was pretty loud. Blown away and thankful they're only a 7 minute drive from my house. Stunning building inside and out. Friendly and helpful staff, quick service! I ordered a spiced Carmel apple coffee. It did not disappoint! So much better than pumpkin spice, literally tasted like a warm apple pie. All the feelings of home, tea, a hug...all of it! I also ordered one of their homemade pop tarts which omg you can't go and not get one! I had their blueberry lemon, and they also had pumpkin spice. The frosting on the top though is so good! Light, fluffy Pasteur and plenty of filling. I'm already planning on going back Saturday and bringing my husband. He's super picky but I already know he will enjoy the creme caramel. read more

It's a cute place in a convenient location. The drinks are fun and have potential, and I get the need to be creative and offer things that are a little outside of the box. But sometimes less is more, and once you start combining 3+ different flavors, you end up with pure sugar on ice. We tried one of each of the new lemonades, and they were just too sweet. We all threw away half a cup of lemonade, which I hate to do but it just wasn't drinkable. Drinks aside, the staff was less than friendly. There was an event going on, and had the shop been packed and the employees a little flustered - I get it. But the shop was actually really quiet, one of the reasons why we wanted to duck away from the crowd. I went to use the restroom and it was locked, so I asked the barista if there was a code. She said nope, I locked it. We don't want people in there today. But go across the street. Ok whatever, we took our drinks and left. And fortunately stumbled into another tea shop in search of a restroom to replace the teas we had tossed. My friend and I come here a lot to do homework, and we love it! The atmosphere is great, the people are great, the drinks are great, it's overall great! I do not write reviews often, and had to write one about this Sweetwaters location because I love it so much. The people are always so nice and willing to help, and I have never had a bad experience with my order. If you are looking to try out a new place, this is the spot! This is a nice shop in the middle of Dublin's new entertainment area by the pedestrian bridge. Order at the counter and there are plenty of tables to use. WiFi is available. Yummy looking sweets, yogurts, sandwiches and cold drinks were for purchase. This day you can buy growlers of cold brews or a lemon ginger tea. Nice idea! We got hot coffee. I asked for oat milk for $1, but I should have asked for a double since there wasn't much flavor, and I liked it at another shop. The coffee brew was nice....not dark roasted, acidic, or bitter. Sweetwaters seems to be a growing business in Columbus. I am noticing more and more around town. My co-worker raves about Sweetwater, so one day we finally stopped in. They were hopping with orders coming in, but that didn't stop the people behind the counter from being friendly and personable. They have several drink options. I have tried a few different ones now. They are good, but I don't think they were exactly what I was hoping for to satisfy my cravings in the moment. I haven't been able to find that one menu item that I just have to go back for. In addition to drinks they do have some bakery items available. They do offer a pretty good rewards program that is easy to sign up for. There are indoor and outdoor seating options available. The thing I like most is the great staff. Each time I have gone the staff has been wonderful! read more

Not a huge fan of Sweetwater's drinks-- they tend to taste on the watered down side no matter what kind of drink it is. Food/Drinks get a 2/5. That said, for the first time visiting this branch, this is an excellent study area. For a Wednesday afternoon (~2pm), it had slow but steady business. While there were other customers, it was possible to find seating. Tables are spaced out and you can get settled (if you're the type to take up a whole table). Staff are kind and chill. Environment is just the right amount of white noise, but not loud. It's a pretty busy block (almost a little town of restaurants, apartments, etc), but it was easy to find free garage parking. For that alone, an extra star for the experience. Great work/meeting place if you're not particular on menu selection. read more

Ambiance: This is such a great location with all the nearby food options. The bright and airy place is perfect for studying and the place is nice and quiet. Staff are friendly and efficient. Food: We got the Dragon Eye Vietnamese coffee and vanilla cold brew which were both delicious. The Vietnamese coffee wasn't too sweet which was nice as the condensed milk can often overpower the coffee. The cold brew was sweeter than others I've had but still enjoyable as you can control how much of the foam you take in with each sip. It was deliciously smooth and not watered down at all. We also snacked on a blueberry pop tart which was a tad over baked IMO but the generous amount of jam inside made up for any dryness. We did buy a bag of their espresso beans which we've been brewing at home using our Breville machine and can confirm it makes an excellent home espresso that is smooth, complex, and not acidic at all. Overall I can see why Sweetwater is so highly rated and agree that this is definitely a good place to try if you haven't yet. read more

Straight gem tucked away in bridge park, I was pleasantly surprised at how good my oat milk cappuccino was...subtle, not bitter, light and very smooth, I normally don't fall in love so easily but for the first time perhaps felt love at first sip in my life. They also have these amazing lemon blueberry in house pop tarts that are fantastic! I think I found my new refuge and camping spot for work/reading but more importantly coffee place FINALLY in Columbus Ohio! Currently hoping you can save enough points for one of those sweet t shirts they have and the space is awesome, clean and provide enough space in each section where you feel safe and comfortable. Sometimes you can get lucky and find street parking closer to the store which considering the season would be a plus but plenty of garage parking in surrounding vicinity. This is probably the closest coffee shop to my house. So I don't go to Starbucks as often now. My go to orders are usually Crème Caramel coffee, Napali Brew shake, or Strawberry Lemon Freeze ice dragon. Recently I went in to redeem my birthday drink and I thought it would be a perfect time to try something new. And I normally hate coffee but seriously get cravings for the ice dragon. The mandarin tea is my favorite, hot or cold. Staff is always so helpful and quick as well! Stopped in yesterday morning to meet with someone in my network. I'm not a coffee or tea person so I ordered a strawberry lemonade which was delicious. I also tried a lemon blueberry pop tart which was so flaky on the crust and delicious! Definitely a busy spot but we were able to carry a conversation no problem and there were plenty of free tables the entire time we were there. I stopped here today after a night out in Dublin. Overall, it was a positive experience. We ordered and received our drinks in a quick fashion. The space itself seemed kind of congested, but somewhat welcoming. I ordered the dirty cold brew. Prices are about on par with a Starbucks. The drink itself was pretty good and carried a kick (and now I'm sort of regretting that extra espresso). The coffee element of the drink wasn't a super robust flavor. I would definitely return, but would not go out of my way for their coffee (like I would for a place like Fox in the Snow). read more

I like this place and come back every time I'm in the area. I'm a fan of the French Vietnamese Au Lait which has a perfect ratio of coffee to condensed milk. It didn't even need any additional sugar and wasn't overly sweet so it's really easy and convenient for me. I tried the pop tart and I'll admit that it was just ok. I appreciate the fact that it's not overly sweet, but that being said...the crust was a bit too salty for my liking. It would be fine to balance an overly sweet filling, but such is not the case. I like their policies that enforce social distancing. You're asked to stand behind a line when ordering to keep their employees safe, use a no touch credit card scanner (if you have a chip card), and have hand sanitizer available for customers. read more

Avoid this branch of Sweetwaters at all costs. The manager and owner, Alice McKeevers, is extremely rude. The staff got our order wrong (not a big deal), and instead of simply remaking it, she proceeded to berate my pregnant wife on the importance of getting her order correct (she ordered correctly). She went on and on about how her daughter has allergies and they ALWAYS order correctly wherever they go. She wouldn't stop talking to the point we just had to leave the store because she simply had to get the last word in. We will never be going back. I finally made it to the OG location of Sweetwaters... took me long enough eh?! I visited their newer location in Polaris a while back and when the opportunity presented itself to stop in here, I was all for it. I arrived on a busy week day afternoon and while the place was pretty filled up, I was still greeted right away and found a nice table to call my home for a few ours. It's no surprise that I LOVE lavender lattes and lucky for me, they had that as an option on the menu. I opted for soy milk and I made it iced considering how warm it was outside. My drink was ready in a flash and I got straight to work. The space itself is modern and very clean. They had a variety of seating options and even had outlets in the floor for those of us working away on laptops. I was stoked to not only fuel up myself but also charge my phone and computer during my stay. My drink was delicious and I sipped it down to the very last drop.
