BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE of this location!!!!! It's like walking through a really BAD neighborhood and expecting to have a lovely coffee experience!! I am shocked this place is still open after so many people took their time out to write these long reviews. Should have read them before I stopped here . Obviously nothing has been done about it . Shame on Starbucks to risk their reputation by still having this location opened . Filthy tables and disgusting Bathrooms and top it all Nasty Attitudes . Employees eating chicken on the table . I came in just to get a lovely cup of coffee instead they made me wait 30 min while no one was in the drive way . And then when asked as to if anyone was making the coffee I almost had my head cut off and then was threatened to call the security for asking about my coffee meanwhile looking like she came right out of jail and got hired to work there with great customer service skills .. The single worst Starbucks experience I have ever had. I am pretty sure the staff is purposefully going as slowly and ineffectively as possible to get people to leave. They were over a dozen people in line, and it was taking an average of 10 minutes per customer. It would take several minutes to order, and then the cashier would go in the back or walk around and start working on the drink, even though there were other employees. Only one register worked. I waited for nearly an hour to buy mugs as gifts only to be told they could not sell them because "the barcode won't scan." No announcement had been made even though others had brought up mugs to buy before me, and all of the mugs were still on the shelf with no sign indicating they cannot be sold. Wasted an hour of travel time waiting for nothing. read more

What's not clear on Maps or the website is the stand alone Starbucks at this welcome center IS NOT 24/7 - only the Starbucks within the center is open all day. Makes no sense. The stand alone with the drive thru is the most obvious, and is o oh oprn 6am-7pm - but service seems only available well after 6am as I've stopped numerous times and though open the service is beyond slow (even to having to honk at the window). Being from the west coast, this is NOT up to the service of a standard west coast Starbucks - but certainly is up to the east coast standards. Easier to stick with WaWa.... read more

Love that they added this new drive through Starbucks. Instead of having to park, unload tge kids and walk inside, we gas up our car, and pick up some coffee ^_^ We take road trips to to Jerz & NYC regularly, so definitely a good addition. Also a plus to be able to see our server/cashier while ordering at the menu. That's something I haven't seen around. This refers to the Starbucks at the I-95 rest area (called The Biden Center). there are two Starbucks here. The outside stand alone drive through is just OK. Mostly they get the order correct, but not always. Don't drive away without tasting your drink to make sure it is what you wanted. The inside Starbucks is terrible. The help are employees of HMS Host, a concession operator and appear to have little or no training. Today I got two totally wrong and horrible tasting coffees and that was after a remake. I also observed several other people complaining about missed ingredients etc. Use the outside store please! read more

Absolutely horrible experience, do yourself a favor and hit up the sunoco for your coffee. I get this is a road stop, but still as a chain you expect some sort of level of service, quality of product, consistency, appropriate level to fill a cup, etc. Don't hold your breath, not here. Had the pleasure of going through the drive thru. No one was in it so not high demand. Ordered a grande decaf, a grande darkest roast you have black, then a THIRD drink a Christmas roast with three pumps of pumpkin. Apparently there was some confusion as we were asked wait is that two or three drinks? Appreciated being asked as to clarify a correct order. We started THREE and went through all three again. Pulled up paid got the decaf and Christmas roast. Then the employee sat there. We let her know we were missing a drink, to which she proceeded to tell us we weren't which was interesting as not only did we order three drinks but we were ASKED how many and did the whole dance again. She then told us no you said two, well uh no we didn't, but are you going to argue with me. You didn't pay for it she said the amount and shut the door. We sat holding a 5 with coffee sitting there to pay. When the window opened explained we have to pay, great we have been waiting to do so. The cherry on top was the mystery third coffee was filled so high that there was no way to have it handed to build without it spilling and burning me. I drink Starbucks almost daily (it's my favorite coffee) and I stop at this location a couple times a month. While the staff is always friendly, the wait time is consistently and often considerably much longer then it should be and much longer than the Starbucks locations I stop at in Wilmington or any DD I stop at. If there are two cars in the drive through, you can expect a 6-8 minute wait. This locations prices are probably 20% more expensive than other locations for what I presume to be its alleged convenience, but it's wait times are far from convenient. Stopped in yesterday around 7pm and they were out of dark roast. When asked about a pour over, I was told it'd be at least 5 mins. Ended up taking a pike place. Stopped by today and the line was out of the drive through lane. I just kept on driving... read more

would give this zero stars if i could( this is my first yelp review i usually never post but this experience was so bad i couldn't resist)- staff was unbelievably rude and passive aggressive, i kept asking for food items to eat and the barista kept yelling that they were out of all these food items and made me feel super uncomfortable- then i only ended up getting a coffee since i didn't want to deal with the attitude anymore i watched another customer ask for caramel drizzle on her coffee which they forgot and the barista aggressively took the drink back and drizzled an obnoxious amount into her coffee out of annoyance and the girl looked so upset my sister asked for an impossible sandwich since she's vegetarian and she yelled back and said all they had were meat items which made her uncomfortable, she also ordered a pink drink which basically tasted like dirty water, and my bf ordered a frap with oat milk and they proceeded to dump 10 gallons of whole milk in the blender, and when he mentioned to her that he ordered oat milk she gave so much attitude and it still ended up tasting like chocolate water. the staff was just super rude and they all looked like they hated their lives which effected the customer service. 0/10 recommend just drive to a different location read more

Ordered $15 worth of coffee. Yes... Can you believe this place charges more than a Starbucks in Times Square New York City??? WHat the what?? A grande Cafe Latte normally is 3.85 in Times Square this place is 4.20???? Is this place really 35 cents better??? really??? To top it off, there was no half and half. Who the heck keeps watch on supplies? I bring the 2 empty half and half canisters to the counter and tell the staff and the barista. This barista (dark skinny guy) just totally ignored me, like refilling half and half is beneath him. I'm standing there with these empty canisters for literally 10 minutes. I asked again only for him to act like he didn't hear me. I have a loud voice. People across the hall heard me. The good thing was, the cashier that took my order saw that I was waiting. She came over to ask me what's up and then got my a bottle of half and half FROM THE BARISTA'S STATION!!!! Anyways, she was cute too. But how dare that barista!!??!!?? So because of the long wait, my coffee got cold and the half and half made it colder. On top of that the coffee was not as good as a normal Starbucks. Boooo barista. Attitude sucked. I wouldn't recommend going to this Starbucks location. They have consistently gotten my iced coffee wrong, which i think is a simple order, just milk and a flavor, probably 4 of the past 5 visits I had. They are also slightly more expensive and don't usually have as many food items as other Starbucks in the area. I beg of you, do not visit this Starbucks. This review is for the Starbucks INSIDE the Welcome Center. Where to begin...this was the worst Starbucks experience I have ever had. And based on the reactions of the other customers, it is safe to say it is one of the worst experiences most of them have ever had. 1) The service was bad. The employees were uninterested in their job, and they either didn't speak to the customers or were rude when they did. 2) The service was BAD. We ordered our beverage at exactly 2:26 PM (per the time stamp in the Starbucks app) and received two drinks (caramel lattes) 23 minutes later. There were about 5 people ahead of us. There appeared to be 4 employees working, but only ever two out front, working the bar and register. The person working the bar had absolutely no sense of urgency, working at an extremely slow pace. Occasionally, all four would be there, and they would just stop working altogether. 3) The service was REALLY BAD. A person who got their drinks before us had to complain a lot to have what she wanted made. They appear to have made, without her having okayed it, one of the refreshers (it appeared to be a Pink Drink, or one of the others with coconut milk) with almond milk. She, understandably, did not enjoy that. More on this later. 4) The drinks were absolutely DISGUSTING. We ordered two drinks: a grande non-fat caramel latte and a grande coconut milk latte. The employee rang it up, we paid, and then we waited 23 minutes. I have never had such repulsive beverages from Starbucks. They made the coconut milk latte with almond milk, not having informed me they would be doing so, and based on the experience with the other customer mentioned above, it appears they just make all coconut milk beverages with almond milk WITHOUT informing the customers. Additionally, the coconut milk latte had no flavor. It tasted like sweet water, and had absolutely no flavor of coffee. Upon taking the lid off, the liquid was TRANSLUCENT, looking like slightly brown-tinted water. It was as if they had just put a pump of classic syrup in the cup then filled it with warm water. Furthermore, the non-fat caramel latte was also disgusting. It had also a vague sweetness, but seemingly no caramel flavor, and the coffee flavor was EXTREMELY strong, almost as if they had put all 4 shots of espresso (the 2 for each latte) into this one beverage. 5) They weren't adhering to health standards. Everything was a mess. Trash was piling up out of the trashcans and onto the counter. There were milks out everywhere. The milks were so warm, the ice in iced beverages they were making would almost instantaneously melt. This location MUST BE shut down. It is an absolute disgrace to the Starbucks brand. read more

Genuinely the slowest Starbucks in the entire I-95 corridor. The cars idling in the drive-thru line are responsible for more emissions than the Popeye's fryers in the main rest stop plaza and the Teslas charging in the parking lot COMBINED. While waiting for my wife to get her iced coffee with soy milk, I was able to download the Yelp app, create an account, and write this entire review on my phone. But it's Starbucks, so when you do finally get your order it will be exactly the same as every other Starbucks everywhere. And if you're lucky, that traffic jam on 95 will have dissipated. read more
