Excellent Starbucks with a friendly staff and solid delivery of drinks to multiple people making both in-person and mobile orders. They seemed to know their regulars but also welcomed us out-of-towners as well. Mobile Ordering was easy and we were even able to sit inside and enjoy them as we figured out what we were doing that day. This Starbucks is absolutely horrible. The workers are mean and hostile and orders come out wrong consistently. The only way I would ever come back here would be for a dire, DIRE emergency. If you want to be treated like you are a bother, get ignored for minutes while standing in front of the cash register, and when they notice you are there growl over their glasses, "What do you want?" Or for baristas rolling their eyes at you or waiting for literally 25 minutes to get your drink in the drive through, come to this location. read more

I will start off by saying I am a huge Starbucks fan. I visit Starbucks between one and three times a day. This one is in my hometown and near my kids school and the only drive-through in town. This is quite honestly the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to. I have been to a lot of different Starbucks in a lot of different states and cities in my lifetime. Not only is the drive-through slow but going inside is 10 times slower. I have then the first person or only person on the inside line and waited 17 minutes for my drink. There were only 2 to 3 other people standing around waiting for drinks when I arrive. I have resorted to setting a timer when I go in and calling customer service every single time I drink is wrong or it takes more than five minutes. I totally understand that people have off days or bad days but I would say 90% of the time they get my order completely wrong at this location whether I am in the drive-through or inside the store. It has become such a problem that I have called the one 800 number on the back of the card literally every single time and called so often the district manager has called me twice. When I realize my order is incorrect inside the store, and I asked them to fix it, usually they will do so after acting annoyed or put out. Never have they offered a free drink coupon card, for my Time or trouble. Once I was even told to get back in line so they could refund my card because I did not have time to stand around and wait for them to remake my drink. The line at the counter was four people deep so I just left without my coffee and without my refund. At the drive-through window I have learned to take a drink before I pull away. Twice now at the drive-through line they have messed up my drink three times in a row. Literally handed me the drink incorrectly the first time I've handed it back they remake it only to remake it incorrectly again to hand it back and have the same process happen over and over. I have no idea what is going on at this location with the lack of training but it is so frustrating that I now tell anyone that asks, how poor the store is. The barista's are usually very nice here and I had a couple that I really liked. It's sad that the service is so terrible and so slow. It truly is great for ambience and the location is excellent. When I spend thousands of dollars a year at a company I expect my order to be correct and complete most of the time if not all of the time. Paying five dollars or more for a drink each time you visit a company and then another several dollars on sandwiches and pastries and having them be wrong it's so frustrating. Then I have to waste my time making calls to the customer service number I don't have time it's in person I just want my order to be correct the first time. I'm not sure why it's so hard for this location to get your order right and to be timely about it read more

I 100% agree with Bob R. They are slow, extremely rude, the coffee is terribly inconsistent, the majority of the time they are put of several items. Currently they are under "remodel" without any notification to customers. I'm a regular at this location for convenience however think it's time to move on until they make staff changes and become worthy to work under the brand. read more

Quite a few visits here now and all have been very pleasant. I now go out of my way to come here after Fred Meyer's Starbucks fall short of consistency. I have had good customer service and coffee. This is a corporate location and not a franchise. A large space where you can sit, visit with friends and enjoy your Starbucks drink. I order my coffees skinny but still ask for whipped cream. For sum reason most barista read the skinny and just assume there is no whip even though it is clearly written on the cup. This location is no exception. As I was walking out, I'm thinking I should go back and get my whip that was forgotten....but this barista made the best froth that I did not have to go back. It was thick and creamy. I have been to this store twice now and each time it was SUPER clean. The barista's are always friendly and they are able to get the drinks out in a quick fashion. Can't believe I would feel the need to complain about buying a coffee at Starbucks. This location cannot seem to have hot fresh drip coffee even in the early morning. Using steam to heat old coffee is not worth $1 let alone 3.25. Adding hot water to a shot is also not a coffee, it has another name called americano because it tastes different and is a different drink. There is no way i can ask more clearly for a very small amount of creamer only to have someone reapeat back to me the phase "lt. Creamer" which apparently means something different to each employee. I cannot remove milk from coffee once its put in, i can always ask for more. Is there no other option than a 1/4" of creamer, I have never seen them relay any other msg to whoever makes the drink. The consistency that this location has on giving me a bad cup of coffee is incredible. I almost count on it and now often drive across town to try my luck at a different location, so far so good. Someone in charge seems to be ok not having fresh hot coffee ready in the morning and has trained the employees to hand me a old coffee warmed up with steam or to pour hot water on espresso and tell me I got the coffee I ordered and paid for instead of just telling me they do not currently have what I want because they were too busy or lazy to make any. read more

STARBUCKS NEWBERG on Portland Road. The WORST STARBUCKS IN THE PODTLAND AREA. They have CLOSED this location at least 5 times within this year 2021, the have the WORST AND POOR SERVICE and the Staff is nothing but unfriendly. I started going to that Starbucks since it opened, and it was an AWESOME FRIENDLY PLACE, however, the past two years it's gone down hill. Today, I decide to drive through it one more time, and it was the WORST, A 25 MINUTE WAIT, then I got up to the order box, and they tell me they are OUT of the product. And I thought what?? After waiting almost half hour? That parking lot in that Center is,a DISASTER as is, not enough space, to top it of, there apparently is some type of NEW Wine Bar going in, and they have taken more space away to park, and all that Shopping Center,Owner must think, is his mighty dollar. Anyway, I finally reached the front window if the Starbucks, expressed how upset I was, and that I had,already called the Starbucks Corporate in Seattle. The two people I spoke to had nothing but poor excuses, and mind you, one of them was,a Supervisor( she has a lot to learn on her skills) to represent the Compnay. Who ever does the stock ordering for this store does not do a good job. Every time I go to this store they are out of something it's not to hard to project sales. Today they are out of peppermint really!! I have had them be out of lids for the cold brew at least 5 times that is have gone here. Twice they have been out of venti cold brew cups and twice they have been out of cold brew and watch out when they are out of cold brew they will just make you a americano and that is not even close to the same taste as the cold brew. In contrast to other reviews, I've never had an order wrong or a rude server/barista. Drinks are typically handed out with a smile and, often times, small talk. They can be slow depending on the day, though, which can be a bit annoying. I've also gone inside thinking it would be quicker due to the long drive-thru line only to discover I likely should have stuck to the drive thru! While I understand ensuring drive-thru orders are quick, there should be enough staff to take care of both inside and drive thru customers. read more

Let me start off by saying that I love Starbucks! Been a loyal customer for years, in several different states, and this is by far, the worst Starbucks I've ever been to! They are soooooooooo sloooooooow. The drive through gets wrapped around the entire parking lot sometimes, and you get trapped in line and can't get out! It can seriously take up to 20 minutes to get though the line. The staff doesn't care, they make excuses and offer no apologies. So sad this Starbucks is in my hometown...I've started going else where for my morning coffee, but still support my Starbucks at other locations. Pro: * Large lobby * Four cushioned chairs (good for bad backs) * Pretty good visual ambiance (low voltage incandescent lamps offers balance to harsh LED/CFB lighting. * Clean * Opens early (5:00am) Con: * The Music (Too loud and lively for early morning. Impossible to think straight and the reason for this review). The music wants me to leave soon and not finish my coffee. * The Lighting. Too many and too bright LED/CFBs - hard on the eyes. Summary This new Starbucks is good place for early morning coffee. The visual ambiance and comfortable seating is a plus. However, the intrusive early morning music detracts what would otherwise be an excellent experience and inclines us to return to other coffee shops in town that have more mellow music. The intrusive music here makes it nearly impossible to read the paper or book or listen to your own music. A request to turn down the volume was ignored. read more

I ordered a tall 2 pump white mocha with 1 pump peppermint and paid $3.95 or something. The lady at the window didn't talk to me and seemed rushed. Not a huge deal. She handed me the coffee and my card and I drove off. Assuming the coffee was hot I didn't take a drink till it cooled down. When I finally took a drink (at this point I was in Beaverton) i realized the lady at the window gave me a tall black coffee... I paid almost 4 dollars for something that's $2. So I went back and all I got was an apology AND I paid for another coffee. I was beyond annoyed. The least the person could of done was remake the coffee since it was their mistake. read more
