The drinks are really good but the people inside are a big no no just went through the drive through because I didn't want to get off and my baby was sleeping. They said park so I parked and I was waiting for the drinks and I never got them so after 20 min I had to get off and go get them inside, seriously people come on now do better or at least should of said I needed to get off and get the drinks. Great coffee place and much better than surrounding competitors like Dutch Bros or Starbucks (aka Tenbucks!).

There are tons of mismatched seats and tables available for sitting. Great for an afterschool hangout! They have a wide variety of drinks and fruit bowls like açaí. I also saw multiple items for sale like stickers, bracelets and other misc things that caters to a younger crowd. They have even more items available that aren't on the menu I took a photo of. They are on the board behind the cashier. They look like yummy seasonal items. I originally came for an açaí bowl today but tried the matcha and I unfortunately was not happy with it. Previous times I came I had the pumpkin protein milkshake. That was good. My spouse got a drink and the tapioca pearls were not cooked all the way. The second time we had the lemonades and those were great. Today I ordered the blended matcha milk tea. It didn't have much flavor. The coconut milkshake was not thick. It was basically coconut flavored milk with whipped cream on top. :( the good thing from todays visit was the tapioca pearls. They were perfect. Will be back and update my review after I've tried the non drink items.

I am just not sure how to rate Casa Lola…read more.. My wife called at 10 to ask if they were open yesterday, (Sunday) as they were scheduled to serve brunch. She was told they open at noon?? Yet their website states the following: Sunday: 10:00 AM-9:00 PM I do see they have 4 stars overall. I gave it 5 stars a year and a half ago. It definitely doesn't warrant 5 stars. The scheduled hours in the front window area is missing half of the numbers. The threshold is filthy. The knife in my roll-up had something crusted on it. And we were told very nicely, by our server Johana, that she hoped the Chef would come back, as he had left earlier. Whew...he came in after we were there about 10 minutes. We arrived at 4:00. And the last irritant...the music sound level. I wanted to ask Johana to turn it down, but just put it off. We were told at 10:00 Casa Lola becomes a night club...fine, but at 4:00 on a Sunday. Johana was terrific and the food was good. My Al Pastor Tacos were okay. Not great, but not bad. Black beans and rice accompanied all of the dishes and they also were good...not great. My wife, being a vegetarian, had the Enchilada's stuffed with carrots and potatoes. She loved the sauce, even though it had queso fresco on top, as she had requested none be served. Again, Service 5 stars, Food 4 stars, Misc. 0 stars It will be interesting to see if the restaurant is open one year from now.

The music was good. So was the service for the most part. Except when bartenders added their own…read more20% tip and not give me the option to pick my own tip. I don't mind tipping I've just never experienced something like that. I didn't see a sign anywhere explaining that it was mandatory service fee or something and nobody explained it to us beforehand. Other than that the bathrooms were clean and so was the establishment.

Insomnia Coffee Co. has long been a local favorite in Portland, Oregon. This downtown Hillsboro…read morelocation offers a spacious seating area, making it a comfortable place for people to sit, chat, and relax. A slice of coffee cake paired with a latte is a classic combination -- and a perfect match for Portlander like me. Despite how busy they are, I got my coffee in less than four minutes.

I'm genuinely a fan of the chain and previous reviews bear that out, but an experience at this…read morelocation downtown irked me beyond measure. On the week that Hillsboro held a city council meeting about data centers in which both constituents and public officials alike expressed their misgivings about the city's open-door policy and regulatory environment toward data centers since the pandemic, Insomnia thought it would be rad if they if they invited QTS to party with them. QTS, for those not in the know, operates a handful of large data centers in some of the farmland the city pulled in back in 2014. Most of its data centers went up during the pandemic while people were otherwise occupied, but the city woke up to these large, energy-absorbing grey boxes lining Evergreen and Huffman--and jacking up local utility rates as a result. It turned out the company got a sweet deal on "condemned" farmland and just built out as much as it could and may not be done. However, recent protests and elections have turned the tide against these places to the point that the couple dozen people they employ seemingly all came to the coffee shop to try to buy some sympathy and grouse about those who'd speak ill of them. I genuinely just wanted to pay for my Azetec Mocha and espresso cookie and go, but these guys really beat the charge of imposing themselves upon the community by, well, imposing themselves upon my coffee break. I had some middle manager keep insisting on paying for my order (I continued refusing) and stood by the counter as these arm-folded beardos in fleece vests mocked "old lady" and "blue hair" protesters and wondered if their grandkids like AI. I left a bit puzzled and deeply dispirited. Insomnia itself is a chain and seems pretty game for allowing the community into its spaces, but I've never seen something so outwardly hostile toward said community occur so blatantly within its walls. I'm not the biggest fan of the data centers and don't like how they and the distribution hubs have basically turned North Hillsboro into the worse parts of Central Jersey that my family and I fled, but I didn't think the companies that owned them cared enough to come into town and actively campaign against the community's interest--or that a place like Insomnia, that's supposed to be a universal gathering spot, would just let them in. The entire display was gross, and I feel less great about continuing to support a business that would allow it.
