I have honestly given this Starbucks so many chances. There are so many instances that I was not satisfied. Starbucks is not cheap.. this location is not consistent. One day my drink is perfect and the next its super bitter or missing the cold foam I ordered on it. One time I went inside and there was an older guy flirting with all the staff (super inappropriate). They were all laughing and giggling and not paying attention to the customers. I waited and waited until finally someone acknowledged me. That time I ordered on the app and waited inside 10 minutes over when the app said my order would be ready by. I finally am given my coffee and they try to send me on my way when the ticket says 1/2 items in this order. They had not even started on the food item I had ordered. Today, I ordered just a sandwich on the app. I pull up to the drive thru (which was completely empty) and they said my sandwich was ready. When I arrive to work the sandwich is completely cold in the middle and you can tell it was rushed and not given the time it needed in the oven. Yesterday, I went and this was the time that I said to one of the baristas my cold foam was missing. She looked at me and said maybe it was all dissolved into the coffee..... Cold foam sticks to the top of the cup and you can 100% tell when it has been added and when it has not. I insisted to say that this has happened before (which it has) and I have driven off and was unable to come back so it could be made correctly. Luckily this time I went inside. I always go to this location because it's the closest to me. The staff are always friendly and I never have an issue with my order. It does get busy here in the morning/early afternoon especially in the drive thru. I just tend to park and get down and it's not a long wait. I park a little far off from the store because sometimes the drive thru lines block cars leaving. That's the only con with this location. Wish the line was more structured. It must have been strikeout night. After walking into a couple nearby joints, I decided I would just get a nice breve. I'm not a Starbucks guy but it was right there and in the past, despite their exorbitant prices, I figured they couldn't screw it up. Alas, they did. First of all, the service was SLOW. It was near closing time I guess. The manager-type-guy was more interested in assigning staff their duties than assuring customers were served. They didn't put the lid on tight on his cup and his hot drink poured down the front of his uniform shirt. Manager didn't apologize. In fact, he saw it happen and didn't even acknowledge it until my co-worker said something then it was, "oh I'll make you another one." Didn't flip the guy a comp card or anything. Finally, the crew member who rang me up never cleared the credit card machine. It said, "Approved" but then said, "Wait For Cashier." I had to say something after I received my coffee. Watched one employee bully another while the 3rd employee, making my drinks, watched and laughed at the bullying. All while, I found out 10 minutes later, my drink apparently sat behind the counter done but forgotten about so, by the time I got it, it was all gross and watered down!! Ordered a Strawberry Acai Refresher and it was made as I've had before; it was good, but it took longer than usual. It's understandable and probably from their busy drive through line that is always quite busy. The lower rating goes to the young African American teen girl who verbally commented on a customer who complained why his beverage took so long while waiting inside. She stated that "If you're in a hurry, don't come to Starbucks" which I'm not sure if the customer heard her or not, but being in customer service, does she realize who's paying her salary? A little less complaining and a little more chop chop and customer appreciation would certainly go a long way. As a customer, I don't think I really needed to hear her complain out loud about another paying customer! As they say...think outloud in your head! All she had to do was smile and apologize for the wait, that's all. I was also at the post office yesterday off 142 and Biscayne and each and every attendant apologized for the long wait to every customer when I was there! How's the irony of that, how the post office would offer better customer service than your local Starbucks. She should go work down the street at the Post office and learn a thing or two about customer service cause those older ladies were so sweet. read more

I live walking distance from this Starbucks and have never been disappointed. In fact, if I have any discrepancies with my order, they are happy to give me a replacement or comp me. Drive thru is very busy in the morning hours between 7 and 9, but if you have the mobile app, ordering online is much easier and especially quicker. I've driven, parked, walked in, picked up my order and get back in my car to leave faster than anyone waiting in drive thru line. I haven't been to Starbucks in six months and I should never have gone because of religious reasons I've heard they're horrible but I thought I'll try it when I went to order a coffee nobody was there except one guy and there were three people behind the car, Connor not one person said hello a dark skin woman looked at me like I was less than her was she helped somebody else she gave me a dirty look and took my orderit was disgusting someone should get rid of her or train her properly. Asked for sugar and was told to get at end of counter. Some starbucks put it in for you. Went to end of counter...sugar but no stirrers. Asked for stirrers and directed to other end of store. I've been to this particular Starbucks the most out of all in the Miami area because it's near to where I stay when I'm in town. Like many Starbucks there always seem to be people working on notebooks in the couch area which here isn't that big near the front. There really isn't that much seating here. There's about 4 or 5 tables outside. Right in front of the door there's a table which to me seems really out of place. The other outdoor tables are off to the side but the place is always surrounded by cars. The drive through to this really clogs things up at this Starbucks. Because of the line of cars due to the drive through, it's a pain to get a parking spot because all the line of cars basically block the spots. Getting in and out can be difficult because of this. I I ordered the largest Fizzio ginger aie and it was really large but it was almost half ice. I enjoy the Teavana drinks but the Fizzio was a nice change. read more

Went into this location at 1pm on a Sunday. Drive through line was backed upped so, I went in. Mistake. 6 employees behind the counter! All talking to each other and took a minute to ask me what I wanted. Very basic order. Macchiato and egg sandwich. Sandwich came out in less than a minute. After a 5 minute wait (and seeing many drinks made which were not mine) just a disorganized staff, I asked if someone was making my drink. I was told, 'I'm making drinks that are ahead of yours'. I guess only one person makes drinks! I asked why my hot sandwich would come out if I had to wait for a drink. Pretty basic food standard that food and drinks get delivered at the same time. A well run team in f&b would know not to make the food for a few minutes if the drinks are behind. Here an idea, have one of the other 5 employees standing around making drinks as well if you are behind on drinks because of the drive through. At least one of the employees thanked me as I left for 'waiting'. Clearly zero leadership at this location. They have to learn how to delegate and support the business. If you read the reviews for this location, there is always a wait. It isn't that it's too busy, the staff is not trained and not effective. 6 employees could not handle 6 cars in the drive through and 2 people in the cafe. Come on. read more

I LOVE Starbucks but this specific location is a nightmare for me. Literally every time I go, there's some sort of issue. The staff does not listen or care. I am late for work 99% of the time due to a mistake on their end, that could have easily been avoided had they of listened. For example: giving me iced coffee when I asked for hot, forgetting about the food I ordered, putting regular milk when I ask for almond milk, forgetting to charge me extra for the almond milk, then inconveniencing me to come back to register to pay, adding caramel syrup when I specify not to..the list goes on & on. I don't know how to start this review. I am a coffee lover and I am a Starbucks lover as well. I've never had any complaints about the service or the quality of the products that I've purchased. I am a regular client and I usually come over with my boyfriend or by myself on the drive thru. I usually get my caramel macchiatos cold with two Splenda upside down and soy milk. 20 minutes ago we went to the drive thru before going to my house which is right across the street. The order was an iced tall soy milk caramel macchiato two splendas upside down. One iced grande regular caramel macchiato upside down with two splendas and ONE hot LATTE MACCIATO TALL WITH LACTOSE FREE MILK AND ONE SPLENDA. I had to review The order two times in the drive thru cause the kid seems to be new and I totally understand. So when we get to the window they start passing the drinks first of all without a tray. I started checking and as expected the first two coffees the iced ones were perfect. So far no problem just the tray. Then when they hand me over the hot latte MACCIATO I notice that in the sticker says NONFAT milk. I proceed to ask the person on the window who now is a different one from the one who took my order and I know because now is a girl and the person who took my order was a guy, if she put lactose free milk on it and her answer was "let me check". She goes to the back and asks someone, then a third person who is the actually the problem in this experience is the one who comes to me. Lady between her 55's or 65's+ with long hair on a braid and her Starbucks hat says: -she's making it right now. Me: (with my drink in my hand) no, is okay I just want to know if is lactose free milk cause on the sticker it says nonfat Lady: (with a little attitude and pretty impatient already) "honey the only two options we have is coconut or soy" Me: "I don't want vegetable milk I was asking for lactose free" Lady: (completely impatient and very sarcastic) "oh no darling actually we just put the coconut milk one and a half years ago, those are the options you have!! we don't have lactose free, that will be in Canada, we are in Florida" Me: "okay I was just asking if the coffee you made me, that I ask for was lactose free cause i can't drink lactose" I felt completely disrespected and made fun of. Where is your hospitality training? Where are your customer service skills? Probably that's the reason you still working on a window and haven't been able to work your way up because you are disrespectful with a passive aggressive attitude towards your clients. That's very sad. I love this Starbucks but this lady is the most sarcastic and disrespectful person that has event attended me at te window. The kid who is training: I suggest you to ask for someone who really knows about hospitality, and customer service skills cause if not you're screwed, you're not going to learn anything and you need a mentor not someone who hates so much her work that she has the need to disrespect her customers. As a basic white female, I take pride in obnoxious frappucinos and the energetic baristas that are starbucks staples. I was extremely disappointed in my visit to this Starbucks. I love mobile ordering, so ordered this on our way from Miami to Hollywood at a drive thru Starbucks to make this a quick stop so we could walk along the beach. The mobile ordering app warned that our drive would take "11 min to arrive" but only "4-9 minutes" for starbucks to make our beverages. I arrived at 5:24, and texted my partner who was waiting in the car, that our coffee wasn't ready yet. I told the barista that we ordered on the app, and she informed me that it wasn't ready yet. I ordered a chestnut praline latte, and my partner ordered a blonde roast. Apparently they don't make blonde roasts after 12(too much caffeine?), but the barista made a pour over for us. I really appreciated it, but what I ordered at 5:15 wasn't ready until 5:45. I would have really liked it if they would have been clearer.
