We felt like we stepped back in time having a perfect, quiet morning of high class tea. The owner…read moreis so hospitable, her name is Chris, and she recommended the Celebration tea (and cozy apple chamomile) to go with our delicious tea sampler. Everything she baked was scrumptious and homemade. At other tea places, I felt the pastries and apps were store bought. But she clearly made everything with love, and you could tell by the taste and presentation. We all got to pick out our own tea cups from a variety of beautiful sets. I would love to come back soon!

We made a reservation via email and the staff were quick to respond. The menu isn't large and tea choices were more limited than other tea rooms I've been to. I chose the mint tea and my friend got the chamomile. We each received our own small tea pot that had its own chamber inside to steep the tea. The pots weren't decorative but they got the job done well and I liked that I didn't have to strain the tea myself. We were allowed to pick out our own teacup and saucer. For lunch, I tried the broccoli salad with potato soup and herbed bread. My friend got the broccoli cheese quiche and soup. My salad didn't have much dressing on it - I would have preferred more but I believe it was a premade salad. The soup was ok as well. She said her quiche was tasty. Unfortunately I forgot to grab pictures. I would rate the food 3/5 but the tea a 5/5. Overall, I think the tea house is a nice option considering there aren't many in the area and I'd try it again.

One thing that would improve the experience is having better flavor descriptions on the menu or website. We had quite a few questions before deciding what to order, and thankfully there wasn't anyone waiting behind us in the drive-thru. We ended up choosing a cold brew with caramel, vanilla, and coconut flavors, along with an iced mint mocha. Both drinks were delicious and worth the stop. We also ordered a bagel with cream cheese and some donut holes. The donut holes were tasty, but the bagel seemed to be steamed or microwaved rather than toasted. It was okay, but it would have been much better with a proper toast and a little more texture. Overall, the coffee was great, the staff was helpful and patient with our questions, and we would definitely return for another coffee if we're in the area again.

It fills the local coffee void, it's one of the only ones around (Dunkin' Donuts is nearby). Ambiance: The cafe is small and has simple decor. There are pops of aqua colored (but a little dated) furniture and space-themed wall decor. Multiple seating options are available including tables, high tops, and love seats. The layout is a little peculiar. For instance, love seats face awkwardly face the wall. A little table in front of the love seats would make more sense and provide a better setup. The cafe was very quiet when I visited (around 10 AM) with only one customer dining at the cafe with his laptop. Food/Drinks: Food and drink menu is pretty expansive. Food options include bragels, pretzel minis, and muffins. Drink menu features lattes, hot chocolate, tea lattes, energy (Red Bull mocktails), sweet foam cold brew, coffee, Red Eye, crème freeze, and ice coffee. Check out their seasonal menu for options like Campfire Latte and Blackberry Bolt Mocktail. There is definitely sweet emphasis at this cafe, they try to offer sweet foam on all drinks. You can also buy limited merchandise in store such as cold and hot coffee mugs. I ordered Cold Brew (black, no additives and no foam) and Bragel (with ham, bacon, cheese, and cream cheese on Asiago bagel). My total was a little over $10, which seemed pretty economic considering that I purchased 24 oz coffee. Cold Brew was too diluted and contained too much ice. Bragel was not as plump as at other coffee shops. It was dry, and seemed to use lower tier ingredients. For instance, bacon was a tiny sliver and ham very thin cold cut. I did not enjoy either menu item. But I was also mentally comparing them to the other coffee shops that I frequent. I appreciated that cup sizes were standing right next to the checkout so one can make an easy size decision. Service: Service was lightning fast. I received my order within minutes. I was the only customer in line. I was warmly greeted upon my arrival. When I announced that it was my first time there were really no attempts made to introduce me to the menu. Still I thought the service was very prompt and attentive. Ordering options: Ordering is available online, in the drive thru, and in person. I couldn't figure out how to place an order online, it didn't lead me to checkout or allowed me to add items on the web version. It wasn't user-friendly. I appreciated that every item had nutritional information online and ingredients/customization. As far as the drive thru, there were no clear in/out indicators. Hours: The cafe is open 6 AM - 7 PM, which are very customer-centric hours. How amazing! I didn't necessarily think that the menu cater to dinner customers well. Savings: They have rewards app. Scan a QR code while in store. Entrepreneurial resources: This cafe sells books from Biggby Co-CEO Michael McFall sold in cafe and online. There were two different books available. Parking: This cafe is located in a shopping plaza with a small parking lot. I won't be frequenting this cafe simply because I'm not a huge fan of sweet coffee drinks. It's also a little out of my way. Also, I wasn't very impressed with my order. If you're into coffee customization and quite a few drink options this cafe might be a good match.
