My son and I went to Cheesecake Factory in Lyndhurst on Cedar Road yesterday for lunch a late lunch it was a beautiful experience we go there often enough and have never really had a bad experience the food is really delicious it's gotten even better over there years I really enjoy my meals there I do think they're a little pricey but I do think it's extremely worth it and the service we had from Charles was absolutely amazing he just was very naturally polite and friendly and funny and professional consistently checked on us great conversation I mean I have absolutely no complaints the atmosphere was lovely where we were sitting but the best thing about the Cheesecake Factory was the service and the food the food was really really good and the drinks were amazing but it was very exceptional customer service and I just had to go on here and leave a review I've left some in the past but I have to say my lunch experience yesterday was absolutely beautiful and well worth the over $100 lunch we had. Not ashamed to say I love the CF. Love. Always have good service here, and really have not had anything bad. Everyone knows the menu is vast and has chapters and an index, but I'll throw out some favorites anyway. Egg roll sampler app, Korean fried chicken, Mexican tortilla salad, burgers are great, and a really great kids menu with more variety of choices than pretty much anywhere. One member of my party received a teapot that when what was supposed to be clear water was poured but looked like there was already tea in the pot. The ambiance is inviting. Low lighting and decor is perfectly combined. Remains my fav restaurant of all time! This time I had a lemonade (my fav lemonade ever), the chicken bellagio (for the first time), and the new brownie chocolate toffee cheesecake. The sauce of my pasta dish was the consistency of soup at the bottom of the bowl, very thin. Dish also lacked flavor. Came with chicken but looked like half of it was missing. The Brussel Sprouts, bacon were pretty tasty. The crab cake bites and green beans were delicious as per my husband. His apple crisp was good. I had a low cal cheesecake. I brought it home and ate it the next day. Nice, thick and creamy. It's such a beautiful restaurant, love the Egyptian type decor and colors. What made this visit great was the food, tasty but honorable mention was our waitress Whitney. Didn't want the mashed potatoes "always cold " Wanted a side of fettuccine Alfredo instead asked for extra sauce in it. Yet again this simple modification was too challenging for the staff. Plate came out with zero sauce at all. Dry chicken and over cooked blob of noodles with no sauce. Second dish came out the same but with sauce on the side. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the service my family and I received at The Cheesecake Factory in Beachwood, Ohio, during what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration. My husband brought our family to your restaurant for my birthday, and unfortunately, our experience was unacceptable from the moment we were seated. After being seated, we waited approximately 25 minutes before anyone acknowledged our table. It was only after another party was seated beside us that our server finally approached to take our drink order. Immediately afterward, she began assisting the newly seated table while we continued to wait. Approximately 20 more minutes passed before our server returned to take our food order. After placing our order, we waited an additional 45 minutes without receiving any food. At that point, we requested that our meals simply be boxed to go because we had already spent an excessive amount of time waiting. Our server returned twice to tell us that our food would be ready shortly. On the second occasion, instead of bringing our meals, she brought our bill--even though we still had not received our food. At that point, we asked to speak with a manager, hoping the situation could be resolved professionally. Instead, the interaction became even more upsetting. Rather than acknowledging the excessive delays or apologizing for the experience, the manager stated that our family was being "obnoxious" and claimed that she had to prioritize another table because of us. When we asked for clarification as to what behavior she was referring to, no specific explanation was provided. This response was both surprising and disrespectful. We had spent nearly an hour and a half patiently waiting for our meal with very little communication. If our behavior had truly been disruptive, it raises the question of why no one addressed it at the time or asked us to leave. Instead, we were simply left waiting while other tables continued to receive service. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that, after we expressed our concerns to management, the manager returned to our table with the waitress. Rather than helping resolve the issue, this felt intimidating and unnecessary, especially after such a disappointing experience. In total, our family spent approximately $150 on a birthday dinner that we ultimately had to take home because of the excessive delays. We were also charged dine-in tax despite requesting that our meals be boxed due to the extended wait. This experience was disappointing not only because of the delays but because of how we were treated after expressing legitimate concerns. A birthday celebration that should have been enjoyable instead left our family feeling embarrassed, dismissed, and unfairly blamed for circumstances beyond our control. We received a gift card and decided to go there. It was Mother's Day weekend and the Cavs were playing. We went early and got a table in the bar. A bright spot was our waitress. She had a great personality and was very efficient even though she had many tables to serve. I had the best beet/ avocado salad. My husband had the tossed salad which was a nice portion. We ordered the Brussel sprouts and crab dip. Both were just ok. For dessert we split the celebration cheesecake which was very good. The Cheesecake Factory is always crowded and very noisy. It had been 7 years since I've frequented Cheesecake Factory (I know this because my diameter had her 15th b'earthday dinner here), and it is exactly how I remember it. I met a friend for lunch, and she suggested to come here, so I obliged. It's a familiar entrance, grand, busy, loud (but not in a bad way), yet still welcoming. She beat me there, so they showed me to her table, then next thing you know, I'm drinking a ginger cooler (non-alcoholic). The drink was tasty, of course I babysat it, so the taste watered down as the ice melted. Although I did appreciate that they offer "Skinnilicious" menu, because I have been adjusting my diet again, it didn't matter because I dogged the bread! Shout-out to Cheesecake for still providing complimentary bread. My healthy menu option was the lettuce wraps from the regular starter menu (Skinnilicious did not stand a chnace). I liked the variety of sauces, and toppings offered, but something didn't quite hit the spot for me. It was nothing wrong with the preparation, I just wouldn't order it again. I'm taking the rest home though, don't get it twisted, LOL! Our server, Kristina, was so pleasant ans professional. She smiled the entire time, checked on us, and had a great sense of timing. Delicious large portions and not cheap. Coconut marg was delicious and not too sweet. As usual the complimentary brown bread was super soft, warm, and wonderful. The baked Brie with honey butter on toast was divine! Perfectly crunchy outside and soft within with lots of flavor. The Thai chicken wraps are a classic favorite and have three sweet sauces including my favorite peanut Thai that tastes like a boosted peanut butter. The chicken wasn't exactly dry but was a little tough. Not a big deal though. The Korean fried chicken was a bowl of rice with various veggies like some kimchi, edamame, carrots, pickled onions and some lightly sauced crispy-ish boneless chicken nuggets. Would be way better with actual bone in fried chicken and also way better if there was any sauce drizzled on the rice and veggies as the were otherwise totally plain. Food: I had the Mexicali salad and my best friend had the BBQ ranch which I've had before. We started with the Buffalo Blast and Crab bites appetizer. The buffalo blast is chopped buffalo chicken fried in a wonton- OMG so delicious and a surprising treat. The portion is enough for two-three if you are also getting a meal. Think buffalo chicken dip encased in a well fried shell. The crab bites are a staple for me and also on their "Skinnylicious" menu. It's a tiny crab cake like ball with a dipping sauce coming in at a respectable 400 calories. The portions are huge as always- we got the Lu ch portion! The flavors were fresh, the salad tossed and coated completely and enough to take home! Price: they have a nice lunch menu so it's not Applebees but you can put together a nice meal or follow their salad/soup/sandwhich pairings. I also don't mind spending a little more when I have two meals for one- I took home 60% of my food! Service: our waitress Jules was personable and great. We got there for a reservation when the restaurant opened (11am) and people were waiting a door to get in to be helped first. We dined on Saturday, April 18. I asked how long the wait would be for three people. I was told 30 minutes. An hour later we were still waiting. Reception for almost everyone on their cell phone is appalling in this area, but this is how cheesecake factory chooses to notify. I asked two or three times where I was in a list. Finally, after an hour, I was magically told I was next when I asked (it seems they forgot about us). It took 25 minutes from sitting down to get drinks. The whole ordeal took two hours and 30 minutes for a simple dinner. The waitress would disappear for 25 minutes after saying she would bring water and never did so I just gave up. I was nice and gave a good tip, but it wasn't earned. She was too busy socializing. The food was actually really good and the prices are reasonable. Impression: this location has probably 50% of the staff that they need. It's some of the worst service and disorganization I've ever seen. Our server Spencer was very attentive and great at his job. He worked well and didn't write our order down, and he didn't mess up anything. I ordered the Jamaican Chicken and Shrimp. The dish could be with just chicken or just shrimp if you preferred. It was paired with black beans, plantains, diced pineapples, and a choice of brown or white rice. So my god sis and I met up for lunch today and it was not the greatest experience. It was very crowded so we already expected to have to wait a bit to be seated. After waiting for 30-35 mins for a table, I asked for a drink that was in the menu to which our server said they didn't have make that kind of drink, when I double checked and showed her in the menu she double backed and said she would get it for me. When we finally got our food, both of our plates were barely even warm. We asked for them to be warmed up and even when they were brought back out they were still merely Luke warm. That is unacceptable for $29 a plate. I have come here several times in the past, and I do believe this will be my last time. We settled on stuffed mushrooms. For lunch, I opted for the chicken madeira and my wife, an Asian chicken salad. My son requested chicken and biscuits while my father-in-law requested salmon cooked rare. The stuffed mushrooms arrived and they were absolutely delicious. A good while later, our lunches arrived. My chicken madeira was delicious and it was served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The mashed potatoes were just okay and the asparagus was very good. The chicken was also very good. I'd definitely order this dish again. My wife loved her chicken salad and my son enjoyed his chicken and biscuits. My father-in-law's salmon was cooked correctly and he really enjoyed it.
