This Starbucks was slow before COVID, but they have reached a new level of slowness. As others have said a simple tea bag in water can take longer than other more complicated drinks. The line is consistently around the building no matter the time of day. I am also not sure you blame COVID for messing drinks up constantly which at $6 a pop is silly. read more

This Starbucks is always insanely busy, which okay, I understand since they're the only one serving Lake Nona. However they never get my order right, like ever. All I order is a venti iced coffee with extra cream add pumpkin cold foam. The cold brew is too strong for me, so this is my modification, which by the way was recommendeded to me BY a batista. The batista beind the register named Thesla was extremely rude and and even after repeating my order 3 times, slowly, she still messed it up. If you are still confused, just repeat it back to me or get another batista. Don't make the customer have to wait two times as long because you don't understand. UPDATE- I recently got a call from the Bri (store manager) that was concern and listen to my 3 negative events about this drive tru barista and my experience, She shared genuine concern and shared that they will be sitting down with the young lady today to discuss the situations and talk to her accordingly. She offered a gift card as well! I do appreciate how this matter was handled because I can rest assure that I will not be having this encounter again with the barista. That last night I went that I mention here was important night as I was out on a date with my daughter and the experience weighed in on our night so this matters to me that it is handled correctly. I absolutely hate this Starbucks location. Drive-thru line is always out in the road and it takes over 15 minutes to get the order even completed. Today, I ordered inside because of the long line and I ordered a latte and an order of original batam bagels and it took...from 8:57-9:17. So disappointed in this Starbucks. I've been a loyal Starbucks fan since 2012 and I've never come across such a disorganized one. I understand in the aftermath of COVID many people are not on their game, but that is no excuse for poor customer service if there is only one customer in the place! They don't place enough emphasis on making drinks for the live customers in line inside. There is a whole section for mobile orders and for drive through, but it's like no one is making the in person drinks. Plus this is the second or third time this has happened to me. I Don't know why I went back there to give them another chance to think it would be different. Did you forget how to service live customers? Especially when I inquired where my drinks were and how come they weren't being made yet, all I got as a response was, "I don't know, I only handle the mobile orders." Totally understand mistakes are made and new employees make mistakes. I've been coming to this Starbucks daily since it opened without any problems. Lately they can't get it right. Today is day 6 of getting the order wrong .I order for several people at a time so can't taste before I leave...then drive 10min back each way to get it fixed. Need better barista training or a mark on cup to track where the problem lies. Getting old. It's not like this coffee is cheap! I spend $10-30 per visit. Do better! I only take away marks for how busy it stays with somewhat limited parking because it's in a strip with other busy businesses. Decent Starbucks. The space is clean and large and the wifi and service is fast. There isn't any comfortable seating like loveseats or cushioned seats (all the seats are hard). Came here for drinks Sunday morning with my roommate and her boyfriend for the holiday specials - peppermint mocha fraps. We were able to get out drinks made and into our hands quickly to enjoy. Catelyn and another colleague (black girl with naturally curly hair) made me wait at the window while I watched Catelyn complain about me asking to use a rewards app on my phone. She closed the window, complained, and both laughed. I am utterly disgusted by their behavior and as an executive manager of operations, I would never tolerate this in my offices.
