The barista yesterday wasn't listening when I ordered both of my drinks. I repeated both drinks and when I did, I used a louder voice since they obviously couldn't hear me. When I got to the window the tall black male barista said to me in a ridiculous tone "have patience with us!" It was SO rude. I spoke up loud so they can hear, and that makes him feel he can tell me what to do. Very rude. I won't be returning to this location ever again. It's called hospitality, maybe apologize for not hearing me! Maybe do that instead. read more

The staff at this Starbucks are amazing! I get the same thing every time, but I always say it wrong. Brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso w/ sweet cold foam and an extra pump of brown sugar. I was jumbled again this morning, so when I paused, the young lady was so nice, and I now know how to order my drink to perfection. they gave me a Trenta cup instead of a Venti. I ordered my drink with specific instructions and extra inclusions that I paid for. When I got my drink, it was so milky. I asked for extra because of the cup size that they gave me and they tried to charge me. The supervisor was very racist stating that there is someone that looks like me that comes all the time to the location complaining. Fun fact I live in Georgia. So efficient! I can't afford to come to Starbucks a lot but I had a gift card so figured I would come back. There were so many new fun flavors that I wanted to try but I ended up making things complicated because I wanted something hot and I guess all the flavors come cold. The girl at the intercom was very patient in answering my questions and I didn't feel rushed. The drink was ready by the time I got to the window and the guy handling the transaction was very prompt as well. Friendly service and fast! Super pleased. read more

Have never had an experience like i did the other day. Waited in the drive through line no problem at all, it was a Saturday obviously busier than other days. I then pulled up to the drive through screen to place my order but wasn't greeted or anything so i patiently waited. (I'm in hospitality so i understand and was giving them there time). About 5-8 mins go by without anyone even being greeted. Someone did eventually come on the speaker and even said they were sorry and felt bad that no one greeted us or anything. We pull around to the window and my mom was asking them if there was something they could do to make it right and was ignored a few times after repeating her self the girl working got her "supervisor" Kelsey. She then came to the window and didn't even ask about the situation at all or start the conversation will an hello or anything. Just said that we were trying to get free drinks, which wasn't the plan whatsoever we were just trying to see if they'd do anything to make it right. We were just told that they didn't hear the beep that happens on there headset so it wasn't there faults that we waited without being greeted. It's not even about the waiting, it's about how poorly the situation was handled from someone who gets the "supervisor title". I have been in the hospitality industry for a long time and when a customer is upset it's about making the situation right, not about blaming it on a headset and being short staffed that a customer wouldn't know anything about. read more

This is as good of a Starbucks as any. Am I crazy about their coffee? Not really. Any true coffee drinker would not be. Personally, I think the specialty drinks are too sweet and are designed that way to cover up the bitter burnt taste of the coffee. A truly Devine coffee is so smooth that you can drink it black. So, why do I get this place 4 stars? Well, the blonde coffee is an improvement, and you can request this in any drink. They will allow you to alter how many pumps of sweetener, whip or no whip, foam, light foam, or no foam, etc. The customization and convenience is what makes Starbucks survive. This location, the staff were friendly and the place was clean. So props to them! read more

Busy. Sooo busy. Inside AND drive through. Lots of students working, but some places to sit. Friendly, efficient baristas, who are as accommodating as they are friendly. The store is next door to Sonny's Barbecue, so when parking is unavailable, park in spaces available across the driveway into the shopping center. Look both ways when crossing over. I've never had any issue with any Starbucks that I've ever been to. I am an avid Starbucks person, but this particular Starbucks was not a very good one. The people waiting on me made me wait a really long time and they weren't very busy. And as they put out coffees on the counter for various customers, they didn't even bother to announce who's coffees they were, and what kind of drink they were. When I tried to confirm that a certain drink was mine, the employee just walked away and said "yes" before I even finished asking the question and didn't even bother looking at me. read more

Hands down the slowest Starbucks drive through I have ever been to. I have tried on multiple occasions to get coffee before work and even if there is only one car in the drive through it takes at least 10 minutes if not more and this is before 7 am. I made sure to look inside as well. There is either no one inside or maybe one person ordering. There's no sense of urgency to get people in the drive through on their way. As much as I like Starbucks, I can no longer stop here for coffee. Today's trip = 3 cars in the drive through and I'm going on 11 minutes and have been waiting at the window for my cup of coffee for 3 minutes. Stupid! read more

I can say the Sunday afternoon staff was courteous and helpful! The area indoors and outside was clean. Keep in mind thoughtless customers will not think of others and leave their trash on the tables! NOT COOL! I am never feeling guilty when I have my Skinny Vanilla Latte! Vente and satisfying! I tried the new Guava Passion fruit drink. I love guava and it was really good except that there was very little "drink". The cup was filled to the top with ice so that it was gone in just a few sips. I now know to order with light or no ice. It was a rip off the way I got it. read more

Stopped in for an iced tea and the new toasted coconut cold brew for the hubs. Drive thru was quick and friendly. They got my order right (we bring our own cups and often it is quite noticeable that staff do not like it when people do this) and did not balk. :) Drinks were made quickly and I was ordered and done in under 3 minutes. This location is much nicer than the other one in PH on the same road. It did not have a drive thru and it was small and cramped. It did have a nice shaded patio though. I do miss that. This is one of the ones I go to a lot. They always make my Soy Chai Latte just how I like it. The parking situation can get a little crazy sometime. Don't get confused if you go to the drive thru. One lane is for Starbucks the other one is for the bbq place next door. read more

Attention to detail is poor. Went drive thru for iced coffee. Let's face it, when you pay 3$ and up for a drink, it better be right and good. Starbucks quality is exceptional but that doesn't mean a thing when your drink is filled up an inch from the bottom. Also, cream and sugar amounts way off. Just a bad product for the cost. Heck, Mickey D's would have been better for a buck each! If you do go to this location, just make double sure you get what you want. I'm still addicted to Starbucks coffee, but I don't go to their cafes for it. I make it at home. Gone are the days when speed and efficiency are enjoyed and 1600 customers are served in a 4 hour mad morning rush (that was when I was a barista in Chicago during my time there.). Now they waste time asking your name, asking it again, asking you how it's spelled sometimes, where before there was such a great way for them to work as a team and "remember" what your drink was. Something no one seems to be able to do anymore--remember something. This morning I was stuck needing to go get coffee though. So I went. When I pulled up I was excited there wasn't a line at the drive through being 6 o'clock in the morning. But I was wrong. There were two cars that pulled in ahead of me. I had to wait more than 15 minutes for 2 people to be served a beverage that should be 90% prepped. There's a number of things I disagree with in Starbuck's current business model, but the result is customers not going because, I don't care who you are, no one wants to wait in a line while those whom they're waiting for demonstrate inefficient, confused chaos! Upgrade to my original review. Whatever problems they had they fixed. The people are friendly as usual, my order was not messed up. This is after multiple times returning here my order was consistently correct. I would recommend going here. Plus the outside porch area is really nice. It's good to see a place that improves. It's a model to places that don't get with the program and provide decent customer service. This is a Starbucks that I would highly recommend, well done. Follow up. This was the worst hot Chai tea latte I have ever had at a Starbucks. It tasted like hot dishwater with a little Chai flavoring in it. It was not milky or rich or sweet at all, like a Chai tea latte is supposed to be. There is very limited parking as well, and it is very difficult to get in and out of the shopping center, as it is right at the intersection of Curlew and US 19. I would not recommend this Starbucks. There are a few Starbucks in the area, and I would go to another one if I were you. read more

My barista was adorable. She looked like a long haired Tinkerbell, really. The great thing was she was just as nice as she looked. I let her know about my half off coupon and she actually seemed happy for me. I wish more of the baristas acted that way! My coupon was for a chocolate chai tea latte, and I glad I decided to try it. It's a little odd at first, I'll admit. But after a few sips I was loving the flavor. As for the location itself, it was squeaky clean with abundant seating and a comfortable ambiance. Always very friendly people working and they heat the croissant better than any other location to where it's actually toasted and not just warm. The Lattes have a great foam, too! The interior and exterior of this Starbucks also get two thumbs up. I'll keep coming back to this location. read more

Came into the 'bucks today, business as usual. My girlfriend and I were most politely introduced by a barista in training named Roshni. She gave us excellent service, and even expertly handled my complicated order with all the bells and whistles I add to my drink. She remained calm, cool, and friendly during the whole thing and she really has become my girlfriend's favorite barista ever and we will definitely be back again to grab coffee and say hi! :) read more

I have gone here almost every weekday for the last 8 months and they mess up my order at least twice a week. I am sincerely thinking of changing my route to a longer one just so I'll pass by a different Starbucks. If it's not them completely not listening to the order, then it's them handing me a completely wrong drink. I don't know who's training these people, but maybe the whole store could use a refresher class. I've even tried slowing down how I order but it doesn't make a difference. I'm still getting the wrong drinks. The one in Oldsmar is way better, as well at the one in Dunedin on Main Street. read more
