This location is spacious and is easy to navigate to. I have only been in the morning, around 7am but the staff is knowledgeable and kind. The young man has suggested things to get and seems to know his business. They are quick, but it does seem like there is usually 1-2 people working in the morning. I like to order ahead so it is ready when I get there. There is plenty of parking. I have had a number of smoothies over the years from here. My favorite smoothie is the Chia Banana Boost but it is high in calories so I try to limit myself so that I only have it ever once in a while. I like it with peanut butter. When I want something super clean, I get the Island Green or Detox Island Green. You really can't go wrong and if you don't like something in the smoothie they will swap. read more

Since this place has low star. I am trying them out for their new smoothie. The time I went is 3 pm and not many of people. The place is a bit of small and have a few table. I am trying up their new Avocolada. It is a mix of avocado, lime, coconut, spinach, kale, and pineapple. It is a good combination with smoothie ice. Taste is great. The drink was prepared in 5 min. Not bad for the price for the large size cup. My experience here is ok may be is off hour. read more

Came here for the flip flop day to get my free smoothie and it was fabulous as always. Despite there being a long line, they were quick and accommodating to my request to have no sugar in mine. They even came in souvenir cups this year which I thought was pretty cool. Tropical Smoothie always has fresh food and their smoothies are always good. When you're trying not to do "fast food" but something healthy this is the place to go. Whenever I come here they always quickly take my order and it seems clean. Any place where I can see the workers wearing discardable gloves which they change each time they fix your food is a plus to me. I always order the Island Surprise because it has Kale & Spinach in it, yet the perfect balance of fruit so that it really tastes good. My daughter loves it and I resort to coming here at times when she gets set in her toddler ways and refuses to eat anything at home and turns her nose up at any veggies...this is mom's clever way of sneaking it in and I tell her that it's ice cream (bwahahahaahaaaa!!) The chicken pesto for $3.99 tastes great, it's on flatbread with melted cheese, chicken and the pesto...it's' really good! Just went here for the first time because of the great reviews. I walked into a clean, empty establishment. The employee walked up, didn't smile, never looked me in the eye, and asked what I wanted. I told him my smoothie order, he mumbled the total, took my card, swiped it, handed it back, and walked off. No receipt, no real customer service approach, just cold and bitter. Since it was just a smoothie I stood and waited and looked over to see him holding his cell phone and texting while my smoothie was blending. No gloves, nothing sanitary about it - holding a cell phone; which have typically more germs than a dogs ass. When it was finished he walked it over to the counter, set it down abruptly and nearly spilled it, said "here" and then just walked off. Possibly my worst first time experience anywhere in years. I definitely won't be back, and now I don't even have confidence that I can drink this $6 smoothie without potentially getting sick thanks to his complete lack of regard for safe health practices in food preparation. Stopped by here to grab a smoothie on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. When I walked in I was greeted by the friendly employee. I ordered the sunrise sunset smoothie and it was very good, or too sweet. I waited a little bit for my smoothie because there was only one girl behind the counter at the time and she looked like she was also filling other orders of some people in front of me, but I still did not wait long. I haven't tried the sandwiches but the smoothies are delicious and nicely balanced with a selection of various fruits, veggies, and options for additional things like protein or chia seeds. I do think of this as a fast food to go place though, and sometimes it is not fast at all. It can get very busy, esp. at lunch. If you have to wait 15-20 minutes to get just a smoothie it's way too a long wait. You can order ahead though, online or via an app. Some smoothies can be flavored very inconsistently depending on who makes it and how heavy handed they are with certain ingredients. The smoothies here were great when I went there. I ordered the Blimey limey which was surprisingly delicious considering that I was addicted to Jamba Juice and they are the standards to which I hold all smoothie chains. I also ordered the Baja chicken flatbread sandwich, It was really good but not as flavorful as you would expect from something with the word chipotle in the title and was rather small for a $4 sandwich. But for a health themed establishment they are probably trying to save me from myself. overall, I will probably bike here again. read more

I love Tropical Smoothie Cafe! However, this morning at 9:30 AM, I ordered 2 Cali Chicken Wraps. Everything was going well until the 5'11"-6' tall African American kid that was making my chicken wraps decided to play on his phone while my wraps were warming up in the oven. What good does it do to have gloves on if you're going to play on your dirty phone in front of the customers while prepping the food? It was gross to witness! Someone needs to look into this as this is the second review that talks about the same ordeal! I went home and microwaved my wrap to make sure I didn't get any of those phone germs in my mouth/stomach. It ruined the wrap, but what could I have done? Scolded the kid at the store? They helped the woman in front of me but then never came back to the register. I waited patiently as there was a beehive of activity, but not so much as eye contact or a welcome. I kept waiting and finally turned to a guy in a chair, shrugged and walked out. Seemed like a young inexperienced crew. Is customer service truly dead?!! --At this location it is! UPDATE: It's been 1yr since my above review, and I decided to give them one more try. Walked in and was served immediately. The drink I ordered was very tasty. I'm adding 3 more stars because of this. Everyone deserves a second chance ! UPDATE: It's been yet another year, and Im now a regular here. I love how I can use the app to order my drink and skip the line when I come in to pick it up. Service has been consistent, fast and friendly. Not sure who they got rid of, but they've done a 360. I love this place. I love the smoothies, but it's slowly going downhill. The flavors changed and some of my favorite were discontinued. The smoothies are the only reason this is 4 stars. I would have given it 2 stars if I weighed in CUSTOMER SERVICE. There's one dude who looks like his life is about to end there.
