This is the most festive Starbucks I've been to this season. I'm sure we are all in search of that this time of year. The signature holiday coffees, snowman cookies, and festive cups. The service adds an extra smile to your face, offering that jingle spirit. I'm so happy I went inside. At first, I was in drive-thru, but the line was so long even for Starbucks. Also, the parking lot isn't that big, so it was causing a bit of a traffic jam. But no need to worry, other parking lots are connected to this one, so it's not really a problem. I sat longer than I should, but the festive feel inside kept me awhile. The kids with their parents were playing with the elves, having a great time. This is my neighborhood Starbucks location. Sometimes the the lines are annoyingly long and in my own head, I'm fighting with other cars to snag a coveted spot even though I can't figure out how to actually get into the line. Nonetheless, every single barista and person working here is always so friendly and always make me smile. I can't even imagine what they must deal with during these times. Anyway, I'm a super fan of using the app to order in advance. I've never had any trouble with the app and my order, no matter how wild I think I might get, is always on point. My favorite special order is the Iced Chocolate Almondmilk Shaken Espresso. I can't get enough of it. Maybe because it gives me childhood Ovaltine vibes. I love the chocolate malt flavor. But, alas it's finally the season of everything pumpkin!! The Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is amazing! I'm sorry to say, but it replaced the PSL for me. It's cold, refreshing, and full of dreamy pumpkin cream. The Iced Apple Crisp Macchiato is a clear game changer. I want to start out by saying that the drive-thru service is great and always lovely!!! However, the drinks are not. It seems like they do not know the recipes. I can go to 2 other Starbucks -Hutto & Louis Henna and their drinks taste almost the exact same. and are really good from the drink to the foam on top, etc. Pflugerville- the drinks never seem to compare; they are either not sweet enough and or no flavor and the foam appears to be watered-down milk. So, I am not sure if they really don't know the recipe or if they are trying to save money by using less pumps-syrup, cream, milk etc. Starbucks may want to shop this store for recipe consistency. It just sucks that I have to drive out of Pflugerville for a Coldbrew or Chai Latte. read more

There was a time when I would go to Starbucks multiple times a day... I loved it! I still love their sweet triple grande upside down nonfat Carmel macchiato! My last few orders from this location have been some of the lattes I have ever experienced in my 32 years of life. I have tried to reach out through the app so corporate knows to review this location and work on the team's listening skills or comprehensive training, but the app doesn't seem to pinpoint one locations review to the next - I will keep looking into this. In the meantime, I try to get out the door extra early to go to the location in Target; getting out of my car and standing in a line is worth getting my order correct without complaint or compromise. I am a young black woman and the store manager of store #14099 (Alvaro Quintana) aggressively approached my car wearing basketball shorts, t-shirt, and bandana telling me to move from a spot where I was waiting on an online order. He frightened me and I asked if he worked there. I told him I would move, but he continued to stand there yelling at me. He then called the police and continued to verbally attack me. I called the district manager, but she did not answer. I am a loyal customer of Starbucks and only heard of this type of treatment. This is our home Starbucks. We know many employees by name and vice versa. I've read some of the other reviews. Here are a few tips - If there's a long line at the drive thru, go inside. We frequently see long lines at the drive thru, walk in the door, and order right away - then laugh at the people that refuse to go in. To those who complain about both the speed of service and inaccuracies, when they're slammed, it's going to take a little bit. If you went inside, you'd see how hard they're working to keep up with orders and bang drinks out. These are mainly hand crafted drinks that take some time. If you want a super fast drink without getting out of your car, McDonalds serves coffee too. There's a reason you come here. The management and staff here are amazing. If you go frequently enough, they really get to know about you and get to know your weird order quirks. (Such as my husband not wanting his tea shaken.) Every person here works hard. The store has a culture of being dedicated to your order being correct and tasty. If it's not - speak up. They've always happily fixed things. Also, there's a 2nd Starbucks with a drive thru at Pecan and Central Commerce. And if you're short on time, you can preorder online through their app and run in to grab it. read more

I attend this location quite often and this had to be one of my worst experiences. Service: Greeting from when I walked in was great. Customer service was welcomed snd placing my order was friendly, until my order was being prepared. I ordered a beverage with no water, light ice as explained in my order. I received my order with water & a lot of ice. I explained I ordered a beverage with light ice & no water. Again, my beverage was remade with the same issue. Finally, I asked "Does my order have the instructions of no water & light ice?" The employee says "Yes...my mistake." "Would like for me to make it again?" (A blank stare)(Strike one). "Yes, please." Finally, my order was made properly but there is a "But!" While my drink was being made for the third time, other employees were just standing around while areas of the counter & work areas needed cleaning and seem to of no concern at the time of service. (Strike two). Overall: It is hard to recommend this location as it is close to my home but is not great on service. I feel there is a lot room for improvement. Mainly in customer service but also being productive & making sure the areas are staying clean especially during the down time. I hope they can make these improvements in the near future & hopefully the gentleman with dark hair & black glasses will provide better customer & be more attentive to the orders instead just rushing through orders. read more

The entire team of baristas worked flawlessly together, constantly communicating and covering for one another for whatever was needed. There was no egos or hierarchy, they were just all focused on providing exceptional service in a speedy manner. I cannot even describe how it tastes.... Wait I got it think about that first time u were a child and you tasted coffee, that was it.... This is the most disappointing Starbucks I have ever been to and I have been to Starbucks in Japan, Canada, and pretty much all over the United States and this is the worst one out of all of them. The employees here will literally lie straight to your face. You can tell them that you are lactose intolerant and that the milk in your drink is for sure regular milk and not soy and they will argue with you that they did make it with soy, even going as far as showing the empty carton in the trash can, yet the taste is off, I feel like I'm going to throw up anytime I try to drink it which is part of my lactose intolerance, and the color is off and looks EXACTLY LIKE REGULAR MILK which dilutes the color more than soy AND smells like regular milk!! This same location gave me the excuse why my chai latte is so weak is because the pump is broken and yet anytime I come back and tell them my drink is too weak, even after requesting 10 pumps in my drink, it's all my fault. Either I "didn't ask for enough pumps" (which is f'ing ridiculous considering I'm asking for 9 to 10 pumps and the average is 6 for a Venti) or I just don't have taste buds apparently. This also means that with a broken chai pump, they are ripping off their customers and the only way the customer can know is if they tell them that their drink is too weak. Customers are thinking they are getting six pumps on a venti chai when it's actually half that because of their ADMITTED BROKEN PUMP. Which again, is the customers fault, not theirs as I have been so rudely reminded repeatedly.Today I had to go back three times to fix my drinks and every time I went back they were more rude than they were the first time. I had little high school girls rolling their eyes at me while also trying to argue with me that the drink was properly made even though the customer is in their face telling them that it's not and they are the ones who told me about their broken pump in the first place, all while a bunch of customers are waiting. I thought the customer is always right and they used to hand out cards anytime they fk up the drinks so you could get a free one and they don't do that anymore probably because they fk up so often!! Ronette, you are such a disappointment. You used to be one of the kindest employees working the drive-thru thru but after today, I think you are absolutely unworthy of working a drive-thru even at a typical McDonald's based on your rude behavior and the fact that you know I am one of the number one customers at this location and you treated me like I was some idiot that was wasting your time. Your rude responses and berating me over having to bring the incorrect drinks back to the store, (something that I have never ever been asked to do before because all they do is dump the drinks anyway and it's also as I have been told before "a sanitation issue") has made me never want to return. This Starbucks is also constantly overrun by flies, their bathroom is disgusting and is probably cleaned maybe once or twice a week, the rest of the employees working there are rude, selfish, and should not be working in any kind of customer service as they are obviously typical high schoolers or adults with the exact same mentality that have no idea how to run a business or how customer service even works. DO NOT GO HERE. You are better off at any of the other Starbucks, especially the one off Louis Henna or the smaller one off I-35 by Taco Bell. They have gotten my drinks right 90% of the time while this Starbucks gets it wrong EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. And then make it out to be my fault while also being rude to me when I ask them to correct it. And if you read other reviews you will see that they mess up the orders constantly and yet they still have the audacity to act like we are the issue!! I have never been so upset over rude customer service in my entire life. I was so kind and polite even though they messed up my order and I politely asked them to remake it TWICE, even going as far as waiting in the drive-thru line again so I didn't take time away from other customers. But of course none of that matters. I contacted the corporate office and I will be leaving negative reviews on every single website that allows reviews. I am sick and tired of the lack of management at this location especially since I have dealt with the manager myself before and she was just as rude as all of her other employees. This location also has hours listed on their door and they are supposed to close at 10PM on weeknights and they don't. You can find them closed at either 8, 9 or 10PM, doesn't matter what day of the week, they close whenever the fk they feel like it. I have never seen a place so overrun with such rude, uptight, awful, unhappy, emotionally vacant employees that should be immediately fired. But like I said I have dealt with a manager and she is just as bad so it figures that she has an entire crew full of a-holes. read more

We have been to this location numerous times. They always prepare good coffee drinks. Today I tried the new "Lemon Bar" frappacino. It was o.k. Tasted like a mild tasting frozen lemonade.
