What a tremendous find. I can't believe I drove past this place for more than a year before finally stopping in. I was a little overwhelmed walking in; it's set up like a specialty store, with many different displays to look at and be tempted by, before ever getting to the teas. Everything is also very, very close together. As it was my first visit, I spoke with the employee and she explained the process. I moved to the teas and did some sampling. It was a lot of fun. I can see why people really enjoy coming here and experiencing the variety offered. Plus, being able to sample various teas ensured that the one I selected was something I was happy buying and leaving with. Something that surprised me is that this is a take and go place, which makes sense with the shopping that hits you when you walk in. It just struck me as I bought my tea that I thought, I'd like to sit down and enjoy this, when I realized, oh, you can't do that here. Overall, I'm very glad I finally stopped in and I look forward to future visits. read more

It's a tea place that serves a few snacks. Tea is always good and seems fresh. They have 1/2 priced happy hour from 2-4 most days. Staff is generally efficient and friendly. I did have one instance where I waited in the drive through line for 10 minutes. That was unpleasant. I've never been inside so I cannot comment there. Long story short, solid tea across the board. I walked into HTeaO thinking it would be like a little drink shop that served different kinds of teas. So imagine my surprise when I went in and it looked more like a convenience store type of situation but with a drive thru was going on. They have lots of snacks and packaged teas and merch to sell. And several large containers of different flavors of tea on the sides. And there were so many interesting flavors, I wanted to get several! I ended up choosing the blueberry sweet tea. And it was so good! It was so sweet, the blueberry flavor was strong, and I love their complimentary fruit slices. (I added some limes to mine.) The staff are pretty friendly too, and the drinks are pretty cheap! Will definitely be back to try some other flavors. Especially now that I've downloaded the app. read more

I've never heard of this place before. Someone had mentioned it to me, and I thought, is this something you buy at HEB? NOOO, it is its own store. Like a Starbucks, but tea. I drink a lot of water, so it's nice to have a little flavor once in a while. It's a small store. They carry a few things like Yeti cups, a couple t-shirts, some snack foods, and of course, TEA. You can buy tea in several different jugs, gallon, half, pint, or just in cups. And they have various sizes too. I did download the app, which rewarded me with a free 50 ounce, yes! 50 ounce cup for free. Which I was super excited about. I also bought a gallon, and of course, bought the cowboy smiley face emoji t-shirt too. There is a section where you can try the tea. Which was awesome. Since I've never had their tea before, and they had several flavors, and non sugar teas. It was a great way to know what tea I would like. After trying most of them. I decided on the unsweet made with stevia by the way, blueberry for the free drink. But got the unsweet Georgia peach for the gallon size. This location is the closest to me. But it is far away. Very nice tea. I come here almost weekly. Staff are always nice. The place is clean. I enjoy the new Paloma flavor, especially when mixed with Texas Chai. The drinks are pretty affordable. The way you get your tea is kind of buffet style, you can try samples of the tea to figure out what you want, and you just pay at the counter. You can also fill up water gallons here. read more

You can't expect much when you have a bunch of teenagers running a shop without management supervision today. I wanted two fresh tea's by the gallon and the kid behind the counter told me to grab it from the fridge already made. And the two gallons in the front would " expire" tomorrow. If you go inside the store you can sample all of the teas. This is the way to go. Then you can make your own drink with the exact amount of ice you want and the mixtures of tea to create your own flavor combo. Of particular I've loved the raspberry, cherry, chi and almond. I like that they have sweet and unsweetened versions of a lot of the flavors. That way you can make a tea that's half sweet. Very customizable if you DYI. They also have a nice variety of packaged snacks to peruse. Great place to get an affordable, cold drink on a hot Texas day. Stopping here after a day of working out doors or on the farm would be perfect! This place is also great if you have a long drive ahead of you and need a little caffeine to stay alert. read more

After a friend raved about the tea I decided to make the trip out to HteaO and I have to say, it wasn't worth the trip. The flavors they use make the tea bitter, and we got sweet tea. They do seem to have a lot in the way of flavors and choices for unsweetened tea and decaffeinated! We will give it another try but will go in and ask for tastes before we buy. This HTeaO is in an easy-to-spot location with great parking. The service is friendly, the inside clean...I wish I could give it more than 3 stars! Alas, I wasn't blown away by anything I drank there. They were kind enough to let me sample a half-dozen of their teas and I couldn't find one that I wanted to purchase. Most of the darker teas were distinctly bitter, the sign of over-steeping. Others, such as the watermelon-flavored tea, had such light flavors I couldn't taste anything but tea! Perhaps I came on a bad day, but I'd only recommend this to people who really like their tea strong, or without expecting additional flavors. The tea here is amazing and it has replaced Starbucks for me. I love that you can sample tea when you go inside and find your perfect mix. I also really love that they come up with tasty combinations that end up being a new flavor, like apple pie and cotton candy! The best part about this place is that they have a great happy hour(s) from 2pm-4pm. If you do go inside, the place is laid out well and has a variety of items you can buy, including water bottles, shirts, snacks, and more. The tea is good. Although sometimes the sweet teas aren't that sweet. I got the half and half of raspberry and blueberry which I actually really like. I happened to order fruit topping today and found it strange how they gave it in a separate container which literally was three slices of strawberries. That was definitely not worth my 75 cents. I was expecting them to put a nice scoop of berries inside my drink, not on the side for me to put it in myself. With that they didn't fill my drink all the way, not sure if that was space for my 3 strawberries. Service is good though, the teens are nice and friendly. read more

I wish they had one or two herbal or fruit teas. I think if anything that is the hole in their products. This is a place for just tea. Not boba tea. Not British tea. Plain 'ol American iced tea. But it's not just limited to sweet or unsweet tea, there are a variety of flavors and mixes that can satisfy any palate. For example, during the summer I get a half unsweet tea mixed with coconut flavored tea and squeeze a couple of limes for a refreshing island-style refreshment. During the fall I'll get their peach cobbler flavored tea with hints of cinnamon and spice reminiscent of falling leaves and cooler weather. You can go through the drive-thru or step out your car and walk inside, either way the service is friendly. They do have some snacks for sale as well as bottled water distilled on premises and some Yeti coolers, too. You can get your tea in a variety of cup sizes, and you can buy 1/2 to full gallon containers of tea to take home. I drive 30 minutes once a week for happy hour & getting my gallons of tea for the week. I get 2 gallons of half ryan parmer/pink lemonade and then get a half gallon of the sweet blueberry. I have never loved tea as much as this tea This is the only tea I will drink now because it doesn't make me bloated/tired which tea from a restaurant would normally do. Very disappointed in the Cedar Park location last week. We visited just after 4 PM. The store ran out of ice, which they quickly fixed. They were also out of lemons and only had 2 limes left. The container holding the lemons/limes had no ice and was a mess of cool water. The worst part was our inability to use a H Tea O gift card. The gentleman behind the counter was unable to run the card on either cash register. He first blamed us for getting the card at another location (Georgetown) and then blamed the computer system. Eventually, we used a credit card, which he initially had problems with as well. This is probably one of the more haphazard experiences I've had with a retailer in a while and definitely isn't like the stellar experiences I've had with the H Tea O locations in Georgetown and Waco. read more
