Drive thru is INSANELY slow and I had to leave. The science behind how to serve coffee efficiently remains undiscovered at this location.

I just want to give a shout out to the young ladies at the drive through today around 1 pm. I ordered in the drive through and asked for extra caramel crunchies on my frappe because I was having a really bad day arguing with a hair salon that RUINED my hair. I got to the window and the two smiling girls handed me my frappe and said it was on them today and they wish my day got better. That made my day!! Let me tell you, they also told me about salons ruining their hair and to use coconut oil and how to fix my hair! These two young ladies really really brightened up my day! I loved my pompton lakes starbucks before but this really proves you care about the members in our community and their lives. Thanks ladies. read more

Slow! 2 days in a row I had to wait minimum 15 minutes for a coffee. Their drive through is the slowest line I've ever been on. I've seen people get out of the line and forfeit their coffee, including myself, due to the wait time. Dunkin' here I come read more

This is probably the highlight of this small town. This Starbucks is always busy, but the employees keep it moving. The drive thru line is long but they keep it going quickly. Now unfortunately not so good for the people that take the time to go inside. They take a long time to take to your order. Then when you have to wait for your drink. Forgetitaboutit. For a location that is in a parking lot of a shopping center that is half empty this location is always very busy it seems. Service both inside and drive through is courteous but it often takes a bit to get in and out due to volume. Rarely order food here, normally only coffee/drinks and have never had any issues in recent memory. read more

Boyfriend and I are addicted to cafe mistos with espresso shots! Starbucks why must you see me on the screen and I can see you?To me thats strange and I get it,you guys make billions of dollars ! Feed the starving kids in a 3rd world country! Bad customer service. I have two experiences the first was a few days ago when I was at the drive thru and I was at the window waiting for a very long time and even though there was a woman at the window doing nothing, she didn't even care to open the window to even just say, sorry for the wait but we are busy, it will be just a moment... after a good 3 minutes of nobody saying anything or even acknowledging that i was there, i drove off without my coffee. Today, I had a coupon code and wanted to know how to redeem it and when I asked Daniel, who works there, how to do it, he just said hold on and completely forgot about me. Extremely drafty, crooked tables, dirty floors. Just a very cold ambiance in general. Floor space for tables is robbed by obnoxious display cases. Don't come here with a friend to chat in the winter, unless you plan on leaving your jackets on. Just use the drivethru and be off. The three workers talk so loud and their voices carry it's hard to have a normal conversation. When one of them finally did get around to cleaning up and rearranging the furniture, she made a point to drag the chairs to and fro across the room, to maximize the noise and the annoyance level of patrons. They take FOREVER to get your drinks to you... The place is ran by a younger crowd that open the drive through window and are talking and cursing at eachother- joking around, but it's not very professional. Someone needs to get in there and turn this location around. read more

The staff at this Starbucks is really nice and the coffee and food is good; I has a grande vanilla skinny latte and an egg white turkey bacon sandwich. One thing though is that it is freezing in the winter. When one sits inside they feel as if they are sitting outside in the arctic; cold wind blows incessantly the entire time from all crevices of the building. The last time I was there to enjoy a latte and write a paper I had to keep my goose down coat on and hood to stay warm! read more

I went into this store to purchase an iced coffee on a Sunday afternoon and found four people behind the counter plus one young man walking around behind the counter with a clip board but not doing anything that seemed efficient or productive. Despite the fact that there were only 4 people on line, the line to place an order had not moved for at least 5 minutes. One of the employees behind the counter with stringy, greasy hair hanging in his face didn't seem to know what he was doing, and frankly, when I see an unwashed employee handling food or drinks, it really takes my appetite away. Aren't they supposed to wear their hair back to adhere to the health code? Allowing that the first woman in line seemed to be placing multiple orders, and there was a drive-through at this location, there were more than enough employees behind the counter to keep the line moving, but they did not do this. I left after about 7 minutes on a line that did not move, went to the Starbucks inside Barnes and Noble in Morris Plains, and waited only about 2 minutes to place my order AND THERE WERE ONLY TWO EMPLOYEES WORKING BEHIND THE COUNTER. They were clean, efficient and polite. read more

The staff is really nice, even when busy. it gets busy a lot, so the wait can be long, otherwise I'd give it more stars. The staff really hustles, so the wait's not their fault. And you always get a free smile with your drink. Sometimes it's not easy to find a space to park. Pulling out isn't easy when the drive through lane wraps around the building, which it often does. read more

The staff is always very friendly and the drinks are always hot and delicious but lord, if there is a line at the drive thru I turn right around. Unfortunately they take forever whether you are inside or at the drive thru. This is the absolute worst Starbucks I've gone to Starbucks all over the country and in other countries and by far everyone I HAVE to go to this one my experience down right sucks . rude staff, can't handle crowd with a smile despite THEIR disorganization and inability to keep up with customer base . Hands down best Starbucks, even from original in Seattle! Nick and the team are so helpful and accommodating. Had a last minute order for 2 travelers few months back and they had no issues completing the order in a timely manner. Chris is always on point with order and so pleasant for his early morning hours. Overall great team effort. read more

Everything is ok until you ask for lite or no ice or no water in cold drinks. This staff is unbelievably cheap. I'm not paying over four dollars for a cup of ice, plus if you take your time drinking then it waters down the drink and ruins the whole thing. I am a gold card member because I go frequently(everyday, sometimes several times a day) so refills are free if I wanted more. They will literally with hold two fingers worth of drink and it's just a disgusting practice. Save yourself the aggravation and go to the Wayne location, I just wish there was a drive thru there. read more

The 3-star rating is strictly for the incompetence that goes on at this place. Mainly from the female employees. I'm not sure what training entails to work at a Starbucks but some of these girls have no clue what planet they live on, let alone where they work. I think they may have gotten rid of Bianca and if so, they couldn't have been more right to do so. She screwed up my drinks every single time I went there. Now they have a new one named Christina. The guys in this place do a great job but some of these girls are unreal. It is so unfortunate that I always leave the drive-thru frustrated because the coffee in this particular Starbucks is the best I've had anywhere. It is always fresh and ALWAYS HOT. I've never been to a Starbucks that made their coffee this way. For that alone I give this place 5 stars, but not for the idiots that work there. read more
