Ridgewood Coffee Company 133 E. Ridgewood Ave. Ridgewood, NJ 07450 Almond Joy This specialty latte served on the rocks has coconut and almond making it taste identical to the classic candy bar; be sure to stir the latte for maximum flavor. Although this was a tasty beverage, a fun size almond joy at the top would have been a nice touch. #ridgewoodcoffeecompany #almondjoy

Stopped by to try their new Biscoff drink, and it tasted exactly as expected--sweet, rich, and delicious. I had it with regular milk and didn't feel the need to add any sugar; it was perfect as-is. I came around 9 AM, and the service was quick and efficient. The barista took my order and made my drink right away, which was appreciated during a morning stop. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great spot for breakfast or lunch.

Great spot to get some work done while enjoying a yummy drink. The matcha einspanner tasted like matcha ice cream in a drink form. The housemade whipped cream was ridiculously tasty. Only downside is their wifi didn't work and I overheard several other people complaining about it as well.

I got the strawberry matcha latte - I most definitely recommend as the matcha is rich in taste and they use the ceremonial blend. The strawberry part is on the sweeter side but still tasted good if you like a sweet drink. I would definitely recommend the matcha even without the strawberry syrup. There's lots of space inside to study or work from. Nice and quiet and cute cleans vibes.

Friendly service. We ordered a latte and a flat white to stay, along with the salmon bagel. Our drinks came out relatively quickly. I prefaced my order asking if we could have everything to stay but I wish they told us that the for here cups for lattes only came in 12oz. So I was a little surprised that the flat white came in a mug and the latte in a to go cup. I would have ordered the 12oz because I really don't like using things meant for single use. The bagel was okay, didn't really seem worth $10. Could have use a little more dill and capers.

2024 Update: They have moved to their new location May 2024 just one block away from the old one and the place is much more spacious!! While the previous address was mostly grab-and-go, their new spot makes you feel invited to stay longer and chill. Inside is wide, open and has lots of seating options. They have also updated their drinks menu and they now include some new specials such as their Einspanners which are delicious! They now also have a brunch menu available from 9am-2pm which is even a bigger plus! Service kinda varied between my first and second visits though. First was met with friendly and good-natured staff while second was with someone that didnt look like he was in a good mood - no smiles or greeting, hardly any eye-contact and a somewhat stern "what was that?" when he didnt hear me say my order well. Maybe it's just me but that interaction from the second visit made me feel like i was just a nuisance :( Both indoor and outdoor seatings are great and they are good for solo, small groups and big groups. Since its so spacious inside, it comfortable for those who may need to bring in their strollers or wheelchairs etc. There is also a ramp to reach the restrooms and they are gender-neutral. Lots of good things happening here. Hoping to have more good experiences here (than bad) and more delicious drinks of lattes.

total price was $7.73, honestly not bad for the quality and service. quick service and they use ceremonial grade matcha. they also give a lot of strawberry sauce which is great since some places usually go light. would definitely come back!

Big spaced, clean, natural lit atmosphere with plenty of seating and quality coffee/food to order. The staff was helpful and attentive. Will definitely be back when in the area!

My favorite matcha and coffee shop in Bergen County! Perfect for getting some work done with lots of setting. They also have some pretty good cake pops and macarons

They also have a chocolate shop next door. When I walked inside of the bakery, I felt transported to a pastry shop in France. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was super busy. Service was quick and efficient. I ordered a latte and a scone. The scone was very delicious and fresh. My boyfriend ordered a frozen hot chocolate and a chocolate éclair. I tried a bit of the éclair and we both agreed that it was the star of the show. I normally am not a big éclair person but this one was so chocolatey and rich. It was filled with this creamy, fresh chocolate filling. I strongly dislike the store bought cream filling that they are usually piped with. We sat at one of the little tables on the sidewalk outside since the weather was nice. I will be back if I am in the area and in the mood for a sweet treat!

Cross contamination is no issue for me, as I informed them, but I need to know if there are nuts actually inside as an ingredient. One person said only one item on their dessert menu contained nuts, and when I mentioned that many contained hazelnut they seemed surprised to learn that hazelnut is in fact a tree nut. Lo and behold, the chocolate dacquoise inside the Spring dessert contained nuts and I got an anaphylactic reaction as a result and needed to take my EpiPen. The bite I had was very yummy but almost took me out so I'll still keep two stars for the baking itself. However, staff NEEDS to know what contains very common and deadly allergens.

The staff looked us up and down and immediately told us there was a problem because the kitchen was not working and no food could be prepared. We noticed that coffee and pastries were still being served, so we asked if we could at least order those. The answer was yes, but no one offered to seat us or explain the situation further. We ordered coffee and a spinach feta pastry, which was served cold and tasted stale. Considering we were charged $12 per pastry, the quality was extremely disappointing. The most frustrating part was what happened next. About 10 minutes after we sat outside, another family was seated nearby and was served food from the kitchen without any issue. If the kitchen had become operational again, no one informed us or asked whether we would like to order anything else. Instead, staff repeatedly came to our table with the bill, even bringing the wrong bill the first time, making us feel rushed and unwelcome. The café was nearly empty, yet we received some of the poorest service I've experienced in New York or New Jersey. I still don't understand why we were treated differently, but the combination of poor communication, unfriendly service, and overpriced food made for a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, I would not return and would not recommend this café to others.

The tables are comfortably separated and the decor is appealing. I was hoping for a memorable visit, but it came up short. My Spanish Latte did not have any remnants of condensed milk and the Dirty Chai was on the luke warm side. Aside from waiting one+ hour for the food to be presented, I did not expect the following: The Western Omelet was not flavorful, the ingredients were sparse, and it had a hardened outter coating. The Ridgewood Pancakes were very small, but the amount of fruit was appreciated, and the cheeseburger's side salad did not come with any dressing. The side of Truffle Fries were throughly enjoyed, each fry was pleasantly oily, had a pleasant crunch, and were well seasoned. I will definitely revisit Ridgewood Station Cafe and I'm certain that they will come through with flying colors.

A Hidden Gem You Can't Miss!…read more I stumbled upon this adorable local café by accident, and I'm so glad I did. It's a truly special spot that feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the usual chain coffee shops. The coffee is outstanding. Their cortado and flat white are perfectly crafted and some of the best I've had. We also tried the cold matcha with a squirt of strawberry syrup, which was absolutely delicious a perfect refreshing treat. The pastries are a highlight too; they are homemade and baked fresh on a "need-to-basis," so you know everything is made with care and never sits around. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It is incredibly dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us since we brought our furbaby along. He absolutely loved his "pupachino"! We were lucky enough to enjoy the beautiful weather on their outside seating area, which added to the lovely vibe. We even got to meet the owner, who was kind, warm, and welcoming, and the staff is equally friendly. It's rare to find a place with such genuine hospitality. Definitely make this your go-to spot before heading to Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts. You won't regret supporting this wonderful local business!

When we sat down, the server brought a small bowl of complimentary popcorn, which was a welcoming touch. My nephew ordered the short rib benny and he cleaned off the plate. I like that they use Goffle Road chicken and it came out nice and tender. The veggies were fresh and good quality. I also thought the portion size was perfect. I asked for the dressing on the side and the dressing came in two small cups. One seemed to be a mix of soy and oil, I think there was a bit of sesame oil too. The other was a creamy dressing. I was expecting, nutty, sweet and savory dressing, but it was kind of bland mayo like dressing. The dressing would have also benefited from acid like lime juice. While I liked the salad, the dressing was a let down, so I'm not sure if I would order that dish again, The service was wonderful, everyone was smiling and our server was attentive.
