    Pour City growler in Maine!
    Tyson J.

Coffee so good you'll travel with it! Pour City has some of the best flavored coffee, espresso, and cold brews of any coffee shop I've been to. Literally filled and brought two growlers of cold brew on our trip to Maine. The staff is incredibly friendly and always welcome you in with a smile.

    Absolutely delicious coffee!!

I want to avoid my typical Yelp review cliches. Pour City Roasters is my ideal coffee shop. My wife and I enjoy sampling as many coffee shops as possible. This is a family run coffee shop, they give a friendly greeting and an appreciative farewell. The service in between is polite, extremely knowledgeable, and proud of their product. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop is decorated really nicely and has some comfortable seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What makes Pour City my ideal coffee shop is their pour over selection. Frankly, just the fact that they have pour over is great. In my tour of high end coffee shops, many are getting by with drip coffee and espresso based drinks. Pour over is the perfect way to extract flavor from the coffee bean and it typically signals a shop that is focused on quality beans. Pour City had 8 beans to choose from for the pour over, ranging from dark to light roast, even had decaf options. As if that wasn't heavenly enough, they also had "Melina" available. Melina done in the pour over fashion is one of the finest and most complex cups of coffee I've had. They aged coffee beans in a Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel for four months and then roasted the beans to perfection. The resulting coffee had the best traits of bourbon, without the throat burn. Absolutely fantastic cup of coffee that I didn't want to end. My wife had a strawberry brûlée latte with oat milk. I took a sip, the strawberry flavor was great, not at all artificial or overly sweet. My wife really enjoyed it. We definitely look forward to returning. As an added bonus, there's a nearby farmers market on Saturdays. Perfect Saturday afternoon!

Visited friends in the area and was hoping to find a sweet coffee spot that's dog friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Though the Yelp page says they're dog friendly, please note that they no longer allow dogs inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What I loved about Pour City was that they have a wide selection of beans for pour over coffee, and very fun flavors for your coffee of choice. I did a 20oz dirty chai latte with pumpkin spice and white mocha ("pocha" flavor). I've been to many coffee shops and this drink makes my top 5 specialty lattes. Sweetened to perfection with different spices; coffee brewed to perfection. If I lived in north NJ close to here, I would frequent this coffee shop! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute and cozy vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Based on food and service, I'd say 5stars! AMAZING tasting coffee. And the staff foster a friendly and neighborhood-feel in the shop. They know customers' names, they have friendly conversations, and really greet you when you come in. I'm giving 4 stars because I'm always looking for cafes to work from. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating is quite limited (especially during the morning rush) and the seating arrangement is a bit tight.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This made it a little difficult to find a good semi-private spot to feel completely comfortable having my laptop up with work info.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Otherwise, I can't wait to go back bc no other local coffee compares!

    Iced Carmel latte!!

Always happy leaving pour city. Me and my boyfriend drive over 20 minutes just to grab a latte from here. Has the best flavor and texture. We also buy the beans to take home. Such great staff and owners. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Friendly atmosphere and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The coffee here is amazing! Ice coffee is packed with flavors and doesn't taste diluted with ice. I will definitely come back to try other drinks

    Coconut Cold Brew
    Allie G.

Now that I've visited Roast'd Coffee a few more times, I have to say that 4 stars is more accurate. I was the first one in the door on Saturday morning, and service was as friendly as usual. This time, I ordered a Coconut Cold Brew with Oat Milk, which was ready very quickly. The guy making it even asked how much oat milk I wanted, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, I can't say I loved this drink. The cold brew was very watered down and I didn't really taste the coconut flavor. Would still return though, next time I'm in town.

I just had to support this awesome local business... They know what they're doing... Great coffee, great customer service, and the location is prime to meet someone at your convenience!

Wonderfully appointed boutique coffee shop in Franklin Lakes! The staff is very kind and taking every step to make great coffee. The vibe inside is perfectly industrial and expertly designed to compliment the Roast'd brand. The Coffee super fresh, blended perfectly, and roasted to perfection. THIS.IS.REAL.COFFEE. Not the swill the other corporate joints brew for $1. Get here and support a local coffee joint. You will be happy you did!

(Reservations are not that easy to make last minute.) The restaurant is big and open but always busy. Kids get wax craft sticks to play with and bend into cool shapes, which I find very unique and cool. I feel like there is a difference between a diner and a true brunch place. A diner, of which there are numerous in New Jersey, is a establishment that churns out inexpensive, and potentially excellent, but very standard breakfast food - omelettes, pancakes, benedicts and the like. A true brunch place, on the other hand, offers things like lemon ricotta pancakes, cacio e pepe scrambles, mushroom thyme omelettes and shakshuka. Willow & Whisk is that kind of brunch place, and which is rare in New Jersey. The food options are varied, very tasty, and with good portion sizes. I love the shakshuka and the mushroom thyme omelette. Oh gosh, when is our next reservation again?

The highlight was definitely the Stuffed French Toast. It looked beautiful, and I expected it to be overly sweet, but it was surprisingly well balanced. The toast was soft with a slightly crispy exterior, and the cream cheese filling paired really well with the strawberry compote. We also ordered the BLT+. The smoked bacon was delicious, but the focaccia was a little too thin and hard, making it harder to eat than I expected. The house-made sausage was good, just not particularly memorable. As for the coffee, it was probably the most disappointing part of the meal. The latte wasn't very smooth, and the cold brew had a slight off taste. They were both drinkable, just not something I'd order again. Overall, I'd recommend this place for the food and the atmosphere, especially if you're interested in the French toast. There's also parking behind the restaurant, which makes visiting easy.

There's space to wait for your order too- so if it's cold or raining, there's room for you. They're open 7a-7p which is great. It was busy when I ran in today around 12:45p on a Sunday and that's always a good sign. It looks clean and the drinks I saw looked appetizing. The food menu sounds fantastic. The guy who helped me with my order was super nice. But I actually went in there on the hunt for something specific. It's the 2nd time I went in since they moved to the space across the street from where they were. The first time I stopped in quickly and saw they had what I was looking for but very few so I didn't buy anything. l had done a very difficult and time intensive Google search for Macaron Cafe macarons. They wholesale out of NYC and they're the best macarons ever. There are probably 6-7 places in Ridgewood that sell macarons, some that make them fresh baked. And none are as good as the ones from Macaron Cafe. Pre-covid I could find them locally pretty easily. But now, it's really hard. Most of the places that sell them put up a menu of the flavors that's very easily identifiable, and they carry the full line. By googling a photo of the menu I was able to find them in Fort Lee and American Dream and those are both too far. I'd gone into every single place that sells macarons in downtown Ridgewood except RCC and none of them have them. I finally made it into Ridgewood when RCC is open (we usually end up in Ridgewood after dinner and they're closed) and imagine my joy in seeing the macarons there. I can tell it's them instantly. Except - they only have like eight of the flavors! They don't advertise them. They don't have the menu up either, so they only way I could tell there might be a chance of them being there was an old photo of their counter from Yelp or Google. So, I didn't have any drinks or food. I just bought some macarons. And I would've bought more except that they didn't really have the flavors I wanted. There are generally around 28-32 flavors and they change/add/take away every few months/holidays, etc. My knocking a star is ONLY for the lack of flavors of these amazing macarons and only having a tease amount of flavors of them. And they should advertise their baked goods/desserts better, like in photos on instagram. They don't post enough of all their food. I had to just take a chance and come in from an old photo. I know I don't want to have to drive to American Dream mall for these macarons. And I know the girls behind me in line today were talking about how they came in for tiramisu.
