This was a fun and cute spot I found for bfast making our way to NY. We enjoyed all the references to Wicked throughout the cafe. We came bc my girl loves crepes and we were so happy to hear that they could make a raspberry chocolate one though it wasn't on the menu. I enjoyed my savory breakfast crepe. My husband didn't enjoy his waffle as much as it was very crunchy, probly bc it was gluten-free. Their espresso drinks were pretty decent. My eye caught the chocolate strawberry latte so I got it... tasted like Neapolitan drink. It was a sweet way of starting the day!

Very cute themed place that's entirely gluten free. I ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich and a caramel latte. My friend got their avocado toast, oatmeal blueberry dessert, and a chai latte. I would have ordered the chicken parm but sadly they do not have real mozzarella. They do carry real ricotta, pecorino romano, and blue cheese on some items on the menu but a chicken parm needs mozz. Wish they had more real cheese options since dairy free cheese just tastes too fake to me. The chicken cutlet was crispy and the sandwich came out hot. I didn't taste much of the chipotle "mayo" and the bread was a lot for how thin the chicken cutlet was so I took the top part off. The bread is good and doesn't fall apart. The caramel latte was delicious.

    How cute--and on point--is this?

Great blueberry lemon muffin and specialty chai. Absolutely adorable decor, would be perfect for a morning meeting or ladies' light brunch

I love the Wicked theme, I'm surprised to have such creativity from an actual place near me, not even a pop up. I love the bakery options and they were even gluten free. The matcha was excellent, dissapointed it wasn't named after Wicked, it was literally green, but basically my only complaint. The workers seem very welcoming and caring too.

Great brunch spot with great coffees. I love the large drip coffee 1 the mug it comes in is so gratifying. Gluten free fans will love this place - gluten free doesn't equate to any sacrifices here. The menu is tasty and the sweets are yummy. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. The owner Gina is super friendly and accommodating. Great spot and glad to see patrons each time i attend.

Defying Gravitea is a cute spot for breakfast, coffee/tea, or some little sweets. My mom and I stopped in early one morning and the owner Gina was super friendly and welcoming. The menu is entirely gluten/dairy free and as someone who is not gluten or dairy free, I believe the food was just as tasty, if not better! I had a pot of Rise + Glow tea and French toast. Will definitely be back!

This place is truly a 5/5. From the staff to the food to the ambiance; everything is perfect. You walk in and you instantly feel warm and comfortable. They have an incredible selection of teas and even cute mocktails! Beyond the drinks, the food is not only incredible but consistently on point! The good morning Gina and waffle are two of my many favorites. On top of all of that you get the added bonus of supporting a strong woman owned business as well as eating food that is good for you! I always leave with a full belly but even fuller heart. Grateful to have found such an amazing place!

We always have a great experience-we love the cozy, quaint atmosphere of the tea room. We visited today for the Mother's Day Queen's Tea. I called to make a reservation 2 months in advance since they book up so quickly. In general, reservations are recommended as seating is limited, especially on weekends. When you arrive, you are presented with a prix-fix menu. On non-holidays, you usually have a choice between the soup or the salad of the day. You select your pot of tea from over 60 premium tea flavors. Today, I chose the "Paris" special tea, which had notes of vanilla, caramel, and bergamot. For the Mother's Day Queen's Tea, we had the broccoli and cheddar quiche, a pear, goat cheese, candied walnut, mixed green salad, scones, assorted mini sandwiches, and several mini desserts. Every course was fresh and excellent. The caramel scones are one of the best things I have ever eaten. They are served warm with clotted cream and lemon curd. The caramel is so goey and melts in your mouth. We brought some orange juice and prosecco to have mimosas with our tea. They have glassware in the back that you can request when making your reservation. The service is always top-notch. Holly is the best server! She is super sweet and always hardworking. At the entrance, there is a little gift shop with lots of cute vintage items, tea-themed trinkets, and some of the loose lea tea available in small bags. We love coming here and hope to be back again soon. ***4 1/2 stars** I'm…read morenot sure how crazy I am about this place being a few blocks from where I live, but I suppose that's not Mo & Jay's fault. I've been aware of this bakery/pastry establishment for a few years (I think it showed up in this relatively new apartment building on Main Street two or three years ago), but hadn't actually thought to go inside until yesterday morning. I was entrusted with obtaining a dessert for a weekend BBQ, and it occurred to me that this was at least the easiest spot to quickly grab something. The fact that the desserts were extremely good ended up being a pleasant accident/bonus. I brought one of my top tier chums to assist with the purchase. From very brief research, it seemed like the eclairs were the big selling point here. I thought it would also be a little wily on my part to get them because I tend to not enjoy eating food that has stuff in it, and figured I'd be unlikely to do anything too naughty with that. That turned out not to be accurate, but I digress. We got the five for $25 éclair deal, and procured a raspberry, a lemon meringue, a nutella, a pistachio and a cookies & cream. Just as we were about to wrap up, I also impulsively grabbed a cheddar/bacon scone, which was humongous and understandably caught my eye. The eclairs were definitely a hit. My personal favorite was the cookies & cream. The flavor was incredibly on point, and it was almost like a meta ice cream experience. The only issue with that one specifically was that the cream inside was runnier than the other pastries, which made it a little messy. Not a huge deal. The runner-up was probably the raspberry for me. Again, extremely flavorful, almost to a fault - it was overwhelmingly tart, which is obviously kind of a calling card for raspberries but if you're not into that, I'd stay away. The nutella was actually a little on the bland side for me but not bad. The lemon meringue was a big hit for everyone else, but I'm not a huge fan of that flavor to begin with - I don't think that's a mark against this place by any means. In hindsight, we probably wouldn't have gotten the pistachio, but none of us are hardcore pistachio fans. The cream consistency and dough for all of these was very high quality, and understandably a lot of this is going to come down to how you feel about specific flavors. In a final twist later on, I sampled the scone around dinner time and was very pleasantly surprised - the scone was very moist and tasty, and was reminiscent of a Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit, though probably at least twice the size and with actual pieces of bacon in it. Very strong recommend on that front. The service was very good. We had a pleasant female cashier assisting us as my chum was literally squatting on the ground eagerly peering into the display case squealing out flavors to get. Zero issues there, and we were in and out within a few minutes uneventfully. There were also a lot of cakes and other types of pastries, so I expect I'll be returning shortly to obtain their assistance with another BBQ.
