Apparently Starbucks can't give out free tap water anymore? And the workers were very rude about it. Won't be visiting this location again

After stepping foot in this Starbucks today, I don't plan on being a customer of Starbucks ever again. I suppose my mistake was asking where the restroom was. It wasn't busy, only one customer at a table, no drive thru line to speak of. After asking, the employee looked at me with disdain, truly. She then turned her back to me flatly saying over her shoulder, 'Starbucks has a new policy, customers only.' When she turned back towards me; it was too late. Damage done. Astonished and hurt. I needed to pee sooo bad. I wish I had the nerve to pee on the floor. Instead I left quickly without drinks for myself and my family. Gross human interaction for a reputable company. The 1 star rating has nothing to do with the item I ordered, but more for the bad customer service. I got a reward for a bakery item under the offer tab in the app. The offer said I can use it at the register or order ahead. So I went in the store to get a pumpkin loaf and I told the barista that I wanted to use this offer and she looked annoyed and said she needs to scan the card. Afterwards, I was charged for my loaf. Contacted customer service and they took care of that. Now on onto the actual item that I ordered. I got the pumpkin loaf, warmed up. It was moist and not too sweet. The pumpkin was not overpowering. We are new to the area, so I am in search of my "go to" coffee place in PO. Sadly, I don't think this will be it. While the person taking orders was delightful and engaging, my drink was subpar. I ordered a Frappuccino, and it just had far too much ice (and far too little flavor). In fact, I threw half of it away when I got home, and it has to be pretty bad to be canned by me. This Has to be the absolute worst location for this type of business. When people want to use the drive up the line up in the parking lot which blocks people from getting in and out of the spots they also lineup in a main thorough fare to get to other businesses it is by far the worst possible place for this to be I'm not sure who chose it but they need to have their head examined. People pull out of the drive up blindly it's just an accident waiting to happen. I'm giving their coffee just a solid "Good" rating. My review might be skewed because I dont drink flovored or "candy coffee" drinks. My go-to's are Americano drinks with room for half & half. I had a couple from Starbucks & they lack richness & complexity. Its just basic ok to good coffee. The decor is clean & contemporary. This Starbucks is pretty much like any Starbucks. The staff is generally quick and friendly and the place has always seemed clean. In general, I'm not a fan of the chain (high prices for mediocre coffee) but when it turns summer, I can't get enough of the Caramel Frappuccinos. Their drive thru is always backed up, their service is slow, and their coffee was on the burnt side. I like to take mine black and I felt like I had to put some sugar in there to offset the burnt taste. On the plus side, it was a nice place to study with outlets lining the windows. read more

Once again I enter Starbucks and realize drive thru goes quicker than enter the store. If it is busy is why would you put the newest person on cash register that has to ask a question on how to do it ever time someone ask them for something. Why would they finally put two people on cash register when only two people are left in line. Why not when there was over 8 waiting. Just cause you walk in does not mean you want to spend 20 minutes waiting to order. For Pete's sakes they have to learn to take care of the customer that walk into the door just as well if not better than drive thru. FYI: I was third person in line when I enter and more people came in after me. The line of cars was though parking lot around the corner in front of the store. By the time I order and got my coffee. The line of cars was cleared out and that is why they put the second person on the cash register because the window slowed down. read more

I came here to do a pretty lengthy study session. Although the place is relatively small it, the layout is pretty smart. I was able to sit by the window where the outlets were and I had a decent view. Service was pretty good and quick. I had no issues with my drinks and the barista was really polite. This review is based off just this mornings experience. Ordered an iced green tea latte and a bacon breakfast sandwich. First the green tea latte was full of powder chunks all along the bottom, not sure if it was stirred at all. There was so much ice in the cup that when I tried stirring it (despite trying to be careful) ice and drink spilled out. The breakfast sandwich: barely warm at all, three of the smallest most pathetic looking "strips" of bacon I've ever seen, and dry! Overall pretty disappointed. This is of course 1 of a billion Starbucks locations. The drive thru option at this location (not sure how close the next drive thru Starbucks is) is nice, the parking lot is kind of awkward and sometimes getting onto the main road is challenging with no light. read more

One of my favorite Starbucks location. Port Orchard is a small town so it means there isn't too much people at any given time. So I don't have to stay in a long line or find a table to sit down. Drive-thru gets pretty busy though. Also, many of the customers are seniors and old people meaning there aren't many loud teenagers. Employees are usually very pleasant and coffee tastes like how Starbucks coffee should taste like. read more

As far as Starbucks go, this one is good. It's never too busy and the people working here are very nice. However, for me, the main reason I go to any Starbucks is to have a place to sit and work... and the wifi speeds at this location are terrible. Most Starbucks stores use Google for their internet connection... this store uses Verizon and it is horrible! My latest Speedtest results are 0.29 mbps download. So, if you are looking for a place to work from (where internet connection is important) go somewhere else. read more

There are a few tables in here. This is drive-thru location, also. They don't allow any outside literature in. They bag used coffee grounds and let customers pick them up. That's nice. You know what Starbucks atmospheres are like. Same at this place. Overall, I think Starbucks is expensive. As a long time customer of Starbucks, I have to say this store disappoints me. I order my coffee the same way every time. It should be made the same way every time. This store just can't seem to get it right. Also, if you want to go inside, the parking SUCKS. The store is always clean, the baristas are always friendly. I have been a customer at this Starbucks dozens of times within the last year and I have to be honest and say that I have not had a good experience any of those times. A typical visit consists of waiting for someone to notice me at the register, my drink made incorrectly (typically too much foam and tons of room at the top) with someone calling it out and running away from the hand off with no acknowledgement, then me having to flag someone down because the barista on register forgot about my food. Every time I go back I hope that I will have a better experience just to leave being disappointed. read more

I have been to a lot of Starbucks and this one is just ok. The parking lot is small and awkward. The seating areas are limited inside and outside both. The drive thru line is also pretty slow at times other times it's ok - hit and miss with this place. Cleanliness is about average. Just like any other Starbucks but I think it's the slowest one in the entire state...Every time I go to the drive thru, it feels like an eternity for my single beverage. Expect a glacial pace. But my usual drink is 2 cents cheaper than the Tacoma Starbucks, so they got that going for them which is nice. read more

That being said...stopped here on my way back to Portland & the young lady at the window offered to fill up my water bottle with ice water, no charge. Good customer service, super friendly, inquired how my day was going, and generally left a good first impression. Their coffee is horrible but at least their employees are commendable.
