Easy to order online and pick up in store without much contact during Covid. Starbucks is always consistent with a great staff. This has been my go-to coffee spot for over 10 years. Although I love small business, local coffee shops, Starbucks is a great place to grab your favorite coffee or teas. They have insane nitro drinks, and over St. Patrick's Day 2019 they offered an Irish Cream Nitro Cold Brew. It had me "Dublin" over with delight. Use the app, it's easy. Build your star rewards and don't hesitate to grab some great drinks. I love the Pikes roast with a splash of half/half and cinnamon. I mobile ordered a drink and a cake pop. Came and got my drink almost instantly. Took a while for my cake pop. Told them I was waiting on it, said they'll have it in a minute. Didn't get it for 3 mins. It wasn't even crowded! Waited until someone else came up to the mobile order station , told them I was STILL waiting on my cake pop, I ended up getting the cake pop 4 mins later. 7 minutes for a premade cake pop! Out of all the Starbucks in our area, in terms of customer service and friendly staff, this location beats them all, in my experience. Yesterday, the barista that made my drink was - hand's down- the friendliest, most accommodating barista (or ANY Starbucks staff member) that I've ever interacted with. He was a true "people person" and you can just tell he's the type of individual that won't let anything get in the way of him being in a good mood! I had an issue with my beverage and he addressed it with a smile on his face, he made a concession for me to make me feel fully satisfied and he explained the possible reason for the discrepancy. I also heard him joking with other customers in a way that would put anyone at ease! While I don't know his name, he was on the tall side, black, with multi-colored dreads or braids (I couldn't see him all that well because there was a glare on the plexiglass barriers we all sadly must deal with nowadays!), and the manger should take note of this man's exemplary behavior! read more

Ordered a red eye which is a cup of coffee and a shot of espresso. While I watched the girl make it, she ran out of coffee. So instead of asking me to wait a moment for the new coffee to come out, she fill half of the cup with hot water and the put the shot of espresso in and handed to me. Oblivious to external factors I am the guy drinking ridiculously hot coffee on a 100 degree summer day, caffeine at midnight, piles of Starbucks napkins fill my glovebox. Disappointed to say the least. I went in and there was no line yet i waited a while till one of the workers came and took my order meanwhile there was 4+ of them behind the counter. Then after ordering my drink and paying i was informed that one of the ingredients in the drink they did not have. That is something that should be told to the customer before paying, not after. I live out of state, but frequent this location when visiting family. It is always terrible. I was an 8 year employee with Starbucks and everything this location does it wrong. I had to wait 15 minutes for a breakfast sandwich because neither of the cashiers were shifting to put the long queue of food items into the oven. 6 items waiting at 1.5 minutes per in the oven and they wait 5 minutes to put the first item in. Anyone can do that math. While trying to get a refund so I didn't have to wait the woman left the register and ran to put the sandwich in the oven, ignoring me until it came out of the oven. I couldn't even get the refund and leave like I wanted to. I was in a rush so I took the sandwich and left, but just another pad experience at this location. read more

Always solid coffee and coffee beverages here. Usually get the dark roast on tap or Pike Place. Sometimes a latte. Never those fancy, sugary calorie bombs with syrup. Coffee is consistently good. Staff isn't always organized and the milk, sugar area is almost always a mess or in need of being refilled (milk, half and half). I do like the store layout since they upgraded and remodeled over a year ago. I also love their Boulangerie baked goods and breakfast sammies, even if they are a bit pricey. Overall, I am never disappointed by the quality of the coffee. And their rewards program has some nice perks. Like the ease of paying with their app too. read more

This Starbucks is my favorite! Contrary to other reviews, I have never waited too long for my drink or food. I remember that there are other in-store orders they have, as well as mobile orders. Additionally, new baristas or trainees might take a little extra time, which is fine by me. I spend a lot of time in coffee shops getting work done, reading, or otherwise just catching up with friends. I frequented this Starbucks often until recently. The drinks are good and pretty consistent. If you go during a peak time, however, expect mass chaos. The waiting area is small, and inconveniently located at the entrance. The staff isn't the quickest or most organized, but they are sweet. My other gripe is the smell. It always smells like horribly burnt coffee. So much so that you leave smelling like burn coffee, which happens to smell similarly to cigarettes. The smell gets in my hair, my coat, and I really think it leeches out of my skin. It's terrible. And it's not the smell of delicious coffee, it's burnt coffee, and it's all the time. It's horribly unpleasant, almost gagworthy. Last time I was here I opened the door and walked right back out. On more than one occasion I was here around 6 (they closed at 9). By 7:00 the stools in the front windows were up, there were 4 of us still working, and the floors were being mopped under our feet. It was a very unwelcoming feeling and you felt almost as though you were unwanted and being kicked out. I understand cleaning early and not wanting to be there hours after your shift, but packing it in 2 hours before closing seems a little excessive and adds to the reasons why I likely won't be back to this location. Overall, if you want to grab a quick cup of something before the smell gets to you, go for it. Otherwise, go somewhere else. read more

I love Starbucks. Living upstate and working down in Manhattan, I go to my fair share of Starbucks locations. I. Hate. This. Location. Something is always an issue and I have walked out without ordering numerous times. Now I know what you're thinking, "Why wouldn't this whiny guy use the mobile order??" So, I have. Twice. Both of those times I ordered 10 minutes prior to arriving and when I walk in, nothing is completed. None of the workers even look at you or acknowledge anything. I get that places get busy and the workload can be overbearing for the numbers of workers who are working... I'm sorry to be this guy but if I can get in and out of a Midtown Manhattan location within 5 minutes, then I shouldn't have an issue up here. The curious thing is that there are always 4-5 people working at this location. After last week, I will never go back to this location. read more

This is my preferred Starbucks in the area. They serve the Reserve blends, always a friendly staff who are super nice and right on whenever you need a recommendation of something new. Line's can get a bit backed up because of the smaller location, but well worth the wait. I drive the extra 10 minutes over a closer Starbucks because I think the quality is worth it. read more
