One of my favorite coffee spots! My daughter always wants to stop here after her ballet classes, so we've become regulars. The staff is always friendly, the café is clean, and I love the big windows that make it feel bright and cozy in every season. I also got lucky on my last visit--they let me try a new wellness drink that's officially hitting the menu tomorrow, and it was absolutely delicious! What a delight! Founds this place on Yelp when I was in the New Paltz area and decided to stop by for some coffee, breakfast, and to get a little work done. I arrived to find them right off a bike trail in a small shopping center. If you live or are visiting the area and are biking at all, you could definitely bike right on up from the trail. The space inside is bright and airy. It was a great space for working in and they kindly provide free wifi. I ordered a mocha made with oat milk. For milk alternatives, they have oat and sesame. I was leery having never had sesame milk to get that so opted for oat milk but kinda wished I would have tried it. That said, the mocha was splendid--rich, strong espresso and flavorful chocolate--it was pitch perfect. For my breakfast I opted for their avocado toast which was an absolute dream. Hands down one of the better avocado toasts I've had the pleasure of enjoying. The service was warm and welcoming. Zero complaints about this spot! Get to it! read more

Went here a few times on a recent visit to New Paltz. On our first visit, at 10:45am on a Friday, I ordered a breakfast sandwich, but was told there was a 40ish minute wait because they needed to cook the eggs. So, kinda weird. And a skip on that. Got a cortado and had a taste of my wife's avocado toast - both were pretty good. Second visit was better - earlier in the morning, on Saturday, and eggs were apparently available, so I got the breakfast sandwich w/ avocado. Yum. Also tried the almond croissant - and it was INSANE. Super crispy, flaky outside, and soft, spongey inside. Probably the best I've ever had. We returned on Sunday for a couple more almond croissants. Still amazing. Overall I'd recommend Dry Fly quite highly. The layout of the place is a little weird and the staff isn't the most attentive, but there are definitely some gems here. read more

Best almond croissant you will ever have in your life. Buttery, CRISPY outside, loaded and topped with almond paste and flour. Worth every single penny. Oat milk mocha was yummy. Breakfast sandwiches are worth the wait if they're behind on making the eggs. read more

The reason why I'm only leaving three stars is because there's always this one girl who's attitude is so apparent. This review is for the coffee only! I tried their brown sugar shaken espresso with oat milk. Although I was disappointed with the brand of oat milk they used here, the coffee was delicious. Their brown sugar syrup really brought out the flavors of the coffee bean and it was not too sweet. This location is close to the Main Street, but a plus is that there is plenty of parking! It also looks like there is a trail close by. Not a lot of pastries to choose from so I ended up not trying any baked goods. Okay so I have to say this is one of my favorite places in New Paltz!! I am so happy that this has come into existence and I only see popularity for this place increasing exponentially. First, the reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is because they have things on there online menu they don't actually have. For example, I really wanted to try there sesame latte made with sesame milk and there Rose pistachio latte made with pistachio milk. Both sound incredible!! The sesame latte was even supposed to be topped with a halva floss. Yup, these two drinks sound incredible so you can imagine my disappointment when I got there and they don't make them anymore. Not like the sold out for the day, they just don't make them! So yeah whoever is over IT really needs to fix that on the website. Besides my major disappointment over those two items the reason I rated them so high is because the service was amazing. The staff was super nice, friendly, and attentive. The decor and overall aesthetic of this place was so nice. It's decorated with plants and wood materials. It's new and it's clean! Clean says a lot when speaking of businesses in New Paltz. The vegan poptart I order was amazing! My matcha was perfectly balanced not too sweet but not too bitter with a pop of strawberry flavoring! It's tasted like strawberry nesquick. My friends food and drink was amazing too but I can't remember what she had, I was to busy obsessing over my things. Yeah this will be a regular place for me to visit! read more

I stopped by a second time to see why this place is still so popular. My first time there, months ago, I didn't like the coffee. This time, I ordered a cortado, 2 scones and the "famous challah". I have to say that unfortunately this experience was not pleasant and the coffee and food was only ok. The service is slow and impersonal. I had to wait 20 minutes and while I waited in line there was no acknowledgement of my presence. There were only 2 people ahead of me! My coffee: it was bitter and acidic. About the food: the challah was not special at all. The scones were just ok. People seem happy there eating and hanging out. Maybe the breakfast food is better. Not for me. read more

They roast their own coffee. I had one of their Ethiopian light roast varieties and it was amazing as a standard drip - very fruity. I also got a croissant and a strawberry ricotta toast - both pretty good, creative, and tasted fresh. But that coffee had me coming back for more. read more

This place is a stylish hidden little gem in New Platz! Never would have thought we would find a coffee spot of this caliber in the area! Love to see the coffee roasting process right by the bar - employees were friendly and service was good ... I don't doubt as more find out about this place they'll be a line out the door .. it's that good! We ordered a daily batch brew - they had 2 origins available (impressive) and I went with a Kenya - delightful! What a great new addition to our little town of New Paltz! The location is great, right off the rail trail. There is plenty of seating inside, and some outside, as well as a decent amount of free parking. The coffee (roasted on premises) is delicious, and the drinks very inventive, with delicate flavors from carefully sourced ingredients. Their baked goods are very tasty, especially the chocolate chip cookie. You can also buy their bread, including an oat milk bread that is heavenly. Oh, and they are in a facility that is entirely solar powered! read more

I got an iced latte and my boyfriend got one as well with a delicious lavender vanilla flavor and they're served in hot cups which reminds me of Philz coffee from California and somehow makes the coffee taste better!!
