Typical Starbucks... quiet helpful, just like always... used to be cool, now just reliable

I really do try to find other coffee places but in this part of the world, there wasn't anything else open where I could hang out with a laptop for an hour. So it's the "Green siren people" this morning. Friendly service, hot coffee and the blonde roast didn't taste burned today. Minding my business in the lobby, and the shift manager tells me I need to leave because I didn't buy anything, when in fact I bought something earlier but threw away the cup. What the heck is this?? Some new policy? It's BS regardless of what it is and Starbucks should be ashamed. read more

I stopped by the Starbucks, at least three times a week in the morning before work. They are always friendly and the drinks are delicious. The location is clean and has a mid century modern take on atmosphere. read more

Went through the drive through today and had a total of $7.37. I only had a hundred dollar bill with which to pay. The guy at the window put his hands up and backed away as if I had scared him with this bill, then refused to accept my payment because "we can't accept a bill that large on an order that small." The would completely understand if he didn't have enough in the drawer to break the hundred, but this excuse was stupid. So I drove off because I didn't have any other form of payment with me, other than a five dollar bill. read more

Way overpriced for what you get. The portions of food are small and I can't justify the cost for the size of serving.

This particular location is right off exit 112 from I-75. 3 people were working but not busy at all. It was messy looking, chairs left in aisles, etc. A large puddle of water was laying on the counter where your order is picked up. The server at least put my coffee on a dry spot but No one bothered to wipe up the spill, even after I pointed it out. The order area counter was also dirty. I said, I could be a secret shopper. Server replied, would you identify yourself? I replied you never know. Such laziness, not in any hurry to return. I had met a friend there from 8 to 9 pm and we both commented what a disappointment this location is. Even the drive threw was quiet. read more

I've always enjoyed a good hot cup of Joe from this particular place but it seems as I gotten older I don't like to go there as much as often as I used to be in the prices just keep going up I don't think it's fair to have 2 cups of coffee that you like for $13 read more

Great location with friendly staff. Coffee was hot and fresh. Lobby was clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are clean, private and spacious. Enjoyed my time visiting this location. We will be back. This is the best Starbucks in Knoxville! The staff is the nicest staff I have encountered at any Starbucks. The drinks are always the best too. This location is the only one I've been to that makes an awesome Iced Cloud Caramel Macchiato! Thank you for all you do! read more

I visit this location when traveling. Today Nathan waited on me. Nathan rocks!!! He's probably the friendliest, happiest Starbucks employee I've ever encountered (and I've been to A LOT of Starbucks, including international ones). It's a little difficult getting to this Starbucks due to its location next to the interstate but I'll definitely come here whenever I travel on the chance of seeing Nathan's kind, happy demeanor. Is it sad when visiting a coffee shop was the highlight of your day?... Hm... Anyways, I stopped by later yesterday afternoon (5pm) and immediately felt at home here. This store reminded me why I like Starbucks so much (aside from the drinks) --- the atmosphere! My family got smiles and hello's from multiple employees aside from our barista. I really wish I had gotten names to thank them personally because they were friendly and man were they FAST! (by the time I finished paying, the drinks were all done)! Additionally, the whole building was warm, clean, and you could see them making fresh coffee on-the-spot. Nothing "old" in this place. (Mostly.) But, let's talk some numbers! Nearly perfect but one minor issue!! Service: 5/5 Store Cleanliness: 5/5 Drinks: 5/5 (from all three of us; cmn dolce, crml latte and chai latte) Food: 4/5 - we bought an assortment of things, from cookies and scones to tarts. Everything was delicious but the scones were exceptionally stale. My assumption is that they just hadn't cycled out to a new batch yet. Location: 4/5 - right on a major road and thus easy to locate. But the entrance to the parking lot was awkward and we needed to u-turn for a second attempt to pull in! Haha Overall, I would definitely come back and the purchase was worth it. 1) easy to miss with no signage. And 2) no baby changing station! Surprised that corporate doesn't mandate any sort of changing station in this day and age. Do better, Starbucks. Can't believe you are a location right off a major highway and have no changing station. read more

Well of course the coffee is great. However the service is not so good at this location. They don't like you staying there more than 30 minuets or so. If you're there for more then an hour you might get some dirty looks. The drive through has been a better experience. Maybe because I'm in and out of their hair. read more

This is normally a good starbucks but the last time i went it was not the best. they did not have the screen working on the drive thru so it doesn't show what i order and my order ending up being wrong. i asked for a small drink and got a medium and then i ordered an iced drink and they gave it to me warm. i was in a rush so i wasn't able to change it but i was very disappointed. read more
