As someone who use to work at the Brusters in Jacksonville fl as a manager for 5 years every time I come to this location I'm disappointed. They always mess up my order and they always have poor attitudes. I order a pint and they say I can't do 2 flavors which I know at the location I worked at having 2 flavors was never an issue. I have asked to have the flavors side by side and they have said that's impossible which again I know is not impossible. I ordered today 2 pints today they gave us only the 1 pint and we had to get back in line and ask for the 2nd pint after they had helped 2 other customers. I get to brusters tonight at 8:16 i pull in the drive through it's wrapped around the building as usual. We get to the microphone and it says when your ready to order pull forward the car in front of us pulls forward and gets her ice cream as we pull to the window Emily Corum proceeded to tell me they are closed. Last i recall when i worked here the manger Allison specifically made sure we all knew that you do not refuse service to someone when you are closed and especially not when they were sitting in your drive through from 8:16 when they were open to 9:09 when they told us they were closed. I told Emily that if they were closed they should have turned the lights off and started to clean and getting that scrap and rimming done GOSH DONT MISS THOSE DAYS. She proceeded to tell me the light are off with the lights completely on?? I do know that you guys have gotten a new night shift manager so yeah it's probably not allison but i would confuse who you guys hire with care.. As knowing she's a "Crew Leader" It really don't show as much.. The workers tonight showed nothing but disrespect and gave nothing but attitude. Although the place had two long waiting lines, Bruster's had 4 service windows, all with the friendliest staff I've seen for a while! Their choice of ice cream flavors are more than I could imagine and you really get for what you pay for in terms of quality and quantity! My sweet mom went to get a little gift card for a 4 year old child we know as an extra topper for his Christmas gift, and wanted a $5 gift card so he could buy his own ice cream.
