It's important for managers to foster a positive environment, especially in the fast-paced world of fast food. Unfortunately, my experience left a lot to be desired. I order a standard menu drink, nothing fancy or complicated and it is never made correctly. An ingredient will be left out, or you can tell it's not a full shot of espresso or too much milk. I've gone back and had them remake the order several times because I feel that it's wrong to pay that much for a coffee and not get it right. I've even spoken to the manager about it and they've been very apologetic but still consistently don't get it right. Even though it's the closer Starbucks to me, I've started going to the Starbucks at Target for this reason. I'm curious to know if others are having the same experience that I am. read more

Never really was a huge fan of Starbucks but my sister got me on to their coffee. Plus I like the fact that they recognize Veterans and give you a discount when you show up in uniform or show your Military ID. The staff that I had encountered at this location were very helpful and friendly and really know their coffee. I needed some help deciding on what to order and was a bit confused about the difference between the sizes and the types since I'm not a huge coffee drinker- and the employee helping me was patient with me and assisted me with a smile on their face- which you don't really get at other places. The coffee I now get is the blonde one and I like it iced/ since I'm not a big coffee drinker it's the one that seems to have the least amount of caffeine and won't give me the shakes. Here I am in between client visits on this road trip with some time to kill in Quakertown, PA. Even though this is kind of a rural area, there seems to be a good amount of strip malls, Dairy Queens, Home Depots, and Applebee's around here. Shoot me now. Please. But I did happen to stumble upon the only Starbucks I have seen driving around down here today. So different than in NYC where there seems to be one on every corner. This location is so quiet, mostly empty, and everyone is speaking in low whispers. Kind of "Children Of The Corn" strange out here. I've been frequenting this locations for 4 months. I usually go at 530am before work to get my coffee, and after work at 3. Recently, I've stopped going after work. Their mobile ordering is never available after 3 anymore so I just stopped getting it then. Recently after a bust day I really wanted my coffee, and I was lucky the mobile ordering was open! I put in my order and drove 20 mins to get it, only to arrive to a line wrapped around building and a sign on door saying the lobby was closed and to go through drive thru! I left. The men and women who work at this Starbucks are amazing. And I'm not being superfluous. This location is BUSY. I work at a nearby food place and stopped in for a pick-me-up after work. The line was long, as was the drive-thru line. I got in line, anyway. They dealt with the amount of orders with grace. If you go on the weekends, expect to wait; this is because they are BUSY and everything is made to order. I enjoyed my Irish cream cold brew immensely and it was worth the wait. I give the workers a lot of credit because it is not easy to work under this sort of pressure. It is always a bazillion degrees on visiting day in July and this place is like an oasis in the desert (not a mirage, thankfully). I regularly come to this Starbucks during my work break, I order ahead online with my coworker so I pick up both our orders. This day was particularly busy and unfortunately at the window I was let know that one of the items we both ordered was out of stock. A barista by the name of Gavin was more than helpful, looking for an alternative replacement and refund. I got myself a replacement and my coworker a refund. Gavin was extremely polite and pleasant, ended up covering both the add-ons for free! This is the closest Starbucks to me, in this area there are about six others well within reasonable driving distance. But this is the one I choose to frequent because of the smaller atmosphere. I can easily study in peace, with free wifi. Coffee is always made to order, nothing is ever wrong. Baristas are always sweet and great for conversation. If you're going to be stuck up on how small it is, just go to one of the many larger ones in the area. :) read more

Walked in after a long car trip at 6pm on Sunday night to get a cup of coffee and was told--wait for it--they have no coffee. They have decaf, just no coffee with caffeine in it. Bought a coffee here and was summarily disappointed in the quality. I asked for a refund as it didn't seem to have been prepared properly and the manager promptly refunded the purchase without hassle and remade the drink at no charge. Nice to see some places still believe in meeting the customer's reasonable expectation of quality service. Store itself is nice, but the layout leaves the cashier counter a bit cramped. The system here is insanely stupid. They only have 2 people doing drinks between the walk in customers and the drive thru for a store that is always busy. It's not their fault they are the only Starbucks in the area, but at the point the person working the drinks was taking the slips that came out first and putting them on the back of the machine and taking the second slip and putting it in front of the first slip etc. is ridiculous. We waited a half hour for a tall hot chocolate and pumpkin spice latte while watching at least 4 other people who were behind us to pay to get their drinks. I live in Qtown and this Starbucks location continues to get worse. The staff is friendly, but extremely slow to complete your order. Sometimes there are multiple baristas talking and only one filling orders. They tend to serve the drive thru first, even if you arrived inside prior. Twice in the drive thru they forgot cream/sugar and I had to go inside anyway. The sad part is, it's Qtown. So I'll continue to go there as there is no where else to meet up with friends. read more
