First time at this location since the remodel. Now there are no seats, just a shiny take out area. I was greeted warmly by employee and I asked for one of the drinks on the secret menu. It was my birthday so I splurged on the calories and got a strawberry Dubai mocha. It was delicious. Not too sweet but great flavors and had a crunch. I loved my drink and I also received it pretty quickly. I could tell it was made with love, I even got a birthday message. The staff here was very nice, but I ordered a brown sugar shaken espresso with vanilla sweet cream cold foam. my drink usually taste sweet and it just taste like I took a shot of straight espresso. There is no brown sugar or cinnamon in it at all they took a oddly long time making my drink when if I go to other locations, I'm in and out of there in five minutes I was also the only customer in there. read more

Never on time, never when they say it's supposed to be ready and they don't cook food in order so someone who walks right in gets theirs faster. The guy who works at the register on Sunday takes his sweet time and then doesn't make the regular coffees when they come through on mobile. Please hire proficient people to work this Starbucks. It's incredibly busy and people are quoted 15 minute wait times for a basic drink and people stand around waiting in frustration for long periods of time. Every time we come to this one we regret it. Very disappointed at this location, I made a mobile order and my mom went to pick it up she had the mobile receipt and showed it to employee and he didn't want to provide the order stating he didn't understand. Location accepts mobile orders why are they refusing to give it? It was clearly already made and ready to be picked up and I had to speak to him on the phone and kept saying that he didn't know about my order that I probably placed it elsewhere, come on with full receipt showing location for pick up and the order sitting there for pick up. Please train staff so this type of issues can be avoided. I went to this Starbucks for the first time. I found it very appalling that with this pandemic they are allowing people in their shop without wearing mask. As I'm waiting for my drink to be made I watched several women come in, 1 had her face mask on as her friend had hers in her hand then she finally decided to put it on, then they proceeded to have conversations with 2 other ladies and took their mask off, so now there are 4 ladies standing in the middle of the coffee shop laughing and talking without having a mask on while people are coming in and out ordering their drinks and pastries. I also saw a young man come in without a mask and place an order without a mask. When will people take this virus seriously? I ordered my usual and put my iPhone to the scanner to pay for it. The staff said that it was a cool way to pay for my coffee and more people are doing it that way. I kinda got a hint that I was kinda hip for an older guy for using my phone. well anyway they all had a smile on there face and were very cheerful ! I go here pretty regularly and it is super hit or miss. Twice in the last week I've had awful drinks. This morning I ordered a salted cream cold brew and I picked it up while running to work. There was a layer of all the syrup on the bottom of the cup, and zero foam on top. When I took a sip, it tastes like watered down coffee and had zero flavor. People need to know: this is the only place ANYWHERE that you can get decaf iced coffee!! I know that's heresy for a lot of people, but there is a small but mighty crowd of decaf drinkers for various reasons that need this option! This is sill my favorite store in Raleigh! It's way to small for the amount of volume it handles. When I get my coffee to go, I use the mobile pay app and the baristas always have it ready. They are 90% of the time super fast. The line often stretches out the door and people will leave. They have no idea that the wait is not that bad.--- I love the location but this store needs more room! When I stay, I can usually find a table inside or find some one willing to share. This sore needs more space. :) The tenured baristas such as RL, Jonathan, Ysef, Chad, Carly, Dana, April and Bradi create such a great vibe in the store. Starbucks...been in one, been in them all...for the most part. This location's employees are among the friendliest I've met in a Starbucks. I typically avoid coffee shop chains, instead favoring the local holes-in-the-wall, locally-owned type...however, on a hot July day with the convertible roof down on a black car, one must have a cold blended beverage -- fast. I was already in the area after having said car cleaned to a gleaming shine, and was on my way to a Pampered Chef party...kind that odd, in the middle, kind of a situation. Was disappointed today when I was sitting outside this Starbucks on a nice fall day, enjoying my latte, when an idiot next to me lit up a cigar. I asked him nicely to stop, telling him that I found his cigar offensive, and he told me to "get lost." So I went inside and asked the employees to enforce their smoking policy, since the gentleman was within 25 feet of the door. The barista said "we just let it go, because they all do it." She refused to ask the man to stop. What is up with this? I have asked employees at various Starbucks all up and down the East Coast to enforce the smoking policy at least 15-20 times in the last two years. I have never had one refuse to do it. I left and will not return to that Starbucks again. I am so upset about this that I am not sure I will return to any Starbucks. If she would've said that they were too busy, or that she would do it when she got a break or something, I would understand. The store was pretty busy. But "because they all do it"? What kind of reasoning is that? I know they "all do it." That is the whole reason why the policy was created. That is the whole reason to enforce the policy, not ignore it. I hope the management of the store talks to these employees and they get with the program. I am not returning. read more

I love 'The Bucks' but while that is true, this location leaves something to be desired. They do not have enough help during the busy times (i.e. the morning rush). They are fairly swift and mostly pleasant. When my beverage is slid across the counter there is inevitably caramel stickiness dripping from the lid and smeared on the cup. That's not what I call a good start to my day. I will go here but only because it is close to my house. I frequent other coffee shops and other Starbucks for this reason. I have been to every Starbucks, literally, in Raleigh. This one to me is probably one of the best ones. I don't know how that happens but it is. It's usually hit or miss with the line. Sometimes I hit just right and am the only person, sometimes, there are three other people sometimes there are 10 and the door is partially cracked because the line is so long. I walked into this Starbucks after leaving dunkin on capital and Durant corner with the upmost worst customer service and attitude from that place beyond livid since I had my coffee messed up nasty tasting I trashed the Dunkin' so I was just expecting to waste more money I don't have at Starbucks to make me alive and awake. The entire staff asked how I was and I said I'm livid Dunkin' screwed me over and I'm beyond so angry and broker because I trashed my Dunkin' coffee and they actually listened to me venting like a crazy person they made my drink and food correctly and gave it to me on the house I denied it said I am willing to pay for it and they said no if this will make your day better it's on them! I was thankful to them they comforted me when I was suffering in my health and wellness and coffee perks me up daily Dunkin sucks I will never go there again! They provide service efficiently...one gets the pastries while another gets the coffee so that they aren't getting in the way of one another. Always liked to visit, is within walking distance and enjoyed a drink outside when the weather was nice however enough is enough ! In the last few weeks I've visited Starbucks at Falls village and I have been shocked at some of the scenes. Garbage overflowing outside and having flies and bees buzzing around as I drink, hair on my drink lid and the most disgusting realization of an employee not wash their hands after using the restroom . I realized the restroom issue after using the restroom myself when there was no soap in the dispenser. Remembering that before I used the restroom there was a wait and the person that exited before I entered was a employee. I sent an email to Starbucks customer service and never received a response.
